Dennoch erfreuen sie sich in den letzten Jahren zunehmender Popularität. Die Thematik taucht in der Pop-Kultur etwa bei Stranger Things auf oder man folgt einer Gruppe von Spielenden in einem Podcast wie etwa bei Critical Role. Die Welten in die sich dabei entschwinden lässt sind so vielfältig wie die Spielenden selbst. Von den klassischen Fantasy-Settings bis zu distopischen Cyperpunk Themen findet sich alles - wirklich alles. Aber was ist denn ein Pen & Paper Rollenspiel überhaupt? Was machen die Spielleiter? Was ist eine Probe? Wofür brauchen wir so viele Würfel? Und wie finde ich überhaupt den Einstieg in dieses ganz eigene Hobby? Diese und weitere Fragen wollen wir heute versuchen zu klären.
