Gay Pride Month celebrates people who identify as LBGTQTIA+ and the letters in this acronym are explained.77% of the American population consider themselves Christians, and Dr. Hall explains how this celebration is received across America. The sexual sins identified in Scripture are outlined along with the consequences. Dr. Hall uses Scripture to point out how Christians should react to Gay Pride Month and the people that participate in these events. The past week I have been pondering conversations on both sides of the Gay Pride Month. It has really given me pause to reflect on my own experiences as with my children - what I could've done better and what I wish I could do over. I hope that as I share this parable of love and some personal thoughts that it helps you build better relationships with your children or family members who are in the LGBTQ community. Pride Month 2023 is almost over. I can almost feel the collective sigh of relief.  For the past month secular culture has been aggressively PUSHING its godless sexuality on you and your family. The question is:  What now? I'm Brad Bright and this is the GOD is the Issue podcast, where we show that GOD really is the issue in every issue.   I have great news for you! There are 4 significant things YOU can do in response to Gay Pride Month.   But first, let's talk about what's going on: what HAS happened, and where we go from here.   Clearly understanding the situation is always the first step in changing culture. In this battle, one side WILL win, and one side WILL lose.   So, my question for you is: Which side do you want to be on? Which side do you want your kids on?   If you want to be on the winning side, you need to engage. Yes, YOU!   We NEED to fight. We MUST fight.   But we need to fight like Jesus.  What does that even mean?   He never compromised TRUTH, but He also never compromised LOVE.         What you believe about God will determine which one you believe is true. That's true of all your neighbors and co-workers.   4 RECOMMENDATIONS:   So here are my 4 recommendations for how to respond to Pride Month: 1) Vote. Especially vote in every school board election. Better yet, run for your local school board,  or recruit someone else to run. (LeadershipInstitute.org)   2) Vote with your wallet. Use your wallet to encourage good behavior, and to discourage bad behavior. Be intentional about thinking this way until it becomes second nature.   3) Make God the issue—in every issue.  There's nothing wrong with racism, abortion, or same-sex-marriage —unless God exists.   4) Pray. Some of this may be drowned out by the kickoff to Gay Pride Month. In places like Gus T's Seattle, Washington, this is a big deal. They had so much chatter about the new AI overtaking humanity and the ChatBot's daily evolution and theft of jobs, Gus experimented with one of the bots. It wrote a fabulous haiku about the Terrorist attack in Tulsa.
