Week 1: Roads – God's Map for Your LifeDescription:Are you on the right road? In this episode, Pastor Joe Moss II of Make God Famous Church begins our series God's Map for Your Life with a deep look at Roads.Drawing from John 14:6 and the road to Damascus in Acts 9, Pastor Joe shows how direction shapes destiny, how God interrupts wrong roads to save us, and why following Jesus means more than just traveling—it means choosing the only road that leads to life.

Live to Love Scripture Encouragement

John 8:3-6 The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery, and having set her in the center of the court, they said to Him, "Teacher, this woman has been caught in adultery, in the very act. Now in the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women; what then do You say?" They were saying this, testing Him, so that they might have grounds for accusing Him. But Jesus stooped down and with His finger wrote on the ground. Having failed the previous day to arrest Jesus, they hatched another plan to publicly shame Jesus and catch Him breaking the Law of Moses. Appealing to His obvious heart of mercy and penchant for forgiving sinners, while He was teaching in the temple, they placed before Him a woman caught in the act of adultery. The cultural pressure to condemn, shame, and stone this woman would have been intense. The scribes and Pharisees knew the crowd. The only honorable thing to do in this case would be to execute her on the spot. If Jesus did what they thought He would do, exercise mercy and forgiveness, He would not only violate the Law of Moses by excusing and forgiving her but also run counter to the sentiments of the crowd. They could then condemn Jesus publicly for honoring the guilty woman and breaking both societal standards and the Law of Moses. They would have the crowd's support for condemning and executing Him. Those were the grounds of their accusations. Jesus knew what was happening, but He had one purpose in life—to glorify the Father by loving with Him. Gaining the crowd's approval or escaping the trap laid for Him by the scribes and Pharisees wasn't on His radar screen. He wasn't afraid of their accusations, rather His aim was to remain blameless in His Father's eyes. My encouragement today to live to love with Jesus is that we also would have one ambition, to be pleasing to God. We would be in good company. Not only do we see this in Jesus' life, but listen to what the apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians in 2 Corinthians 5:9. "Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him." There is a real possibility that we might face the pressure to go with the flow of the culture or even religious traditions rather than do the loving thing in some situation at work or church. I'm not suggesting that we should take an accommodating position on adultery or any sin as defined by the Scriptures. As we will see, Jesus didn't excuse the woman or make light of her sin. My aim today is to encourage us to have as our ambition to be pleasing to the Lord in all that we do. We do that by embracing His purpose in life, to live to love with His Father for the glory and pleasure of the Father. I hope you'll set your heart on making God smile as He lives in you today. I invite you to become a partner in our ministry. Would you pray about becoming a regular supporter of Elijah Ministries and the Live to Love with Jesus ministry? I hope you will receive the joy and benefit of "giving it forward," so others may receive encouragement to turn their hearts to God and to live to love with Jesus. Crystal Rivers | Kingdom Mysteries | Aug 20, 2025 You must recognize that most believers, perhaps including yourself, are living behind what can only be described as a veil of prayerlessness. This invisible barrier prevents you from experiencing the supernatural reality that should be your normal Christian life. When you spend extended time in genuine prayer and fellowship with God—not just quick requests or religious routines—you begin to enter what can be called the Garden of Eden environment, where supernatural experiences become tangible rather than theoretical. **Breaking Through Religious Limitations** Your spiritual capacity is far greater than you've been taught to expect. The Christianity you may have learned emphasizes behavioral modification and doctrinal knowledge, but authentic spiritual life requires encounters with God that actually transform your inner nature. You cannot achieve true spiritual maturity through willpower or good behavior alone—something within your carnal nature must literally die through exposure to God's presence and word. **The Reality of Supernatural Fellowship** When you pray, especially for extended periods, you're not performing a religious duty or trying to convince God to act. You're entering into fellowship with spiritual beings and realities that exist in heavenly places. This fellowship gradually shifts your spiritual atmosphere and charges you with divine life. Six to eight hours of uninterrupted prayer can break you into prophetic flows and supernatural experiences that reveal your true spiritual environment. **The Power of Association** The people you fellowship with will either elevate or diminish your spiritual experience. If you spend time with believers who live with low spiritual expectations, their atmosphere will dampen the supernatural power flowing through your life. Conversely, when you associate with people who are genuinely hungry for God and operate in spiritual power, their presence will activate greater dimensions of divine life within you. You must deliberately seek relationships with those who will challenge and inspire your spiritual growth. **Creating a Prayer Culture** Your daily conversations and environment should revolve around God's word and His works. This isn't about being religious or preachy, but about creating an atmosphere where divine encounters become normal. When God's word and spiritual realities dominate your thoughts and discussions, you position yourself for continuous spiritual breakthrough and growth. **Understanding Prayer as Breathing** Prayer isn't a magical solution to all problems, but it's as essential to your spiritual life as breathing is to your physical life. Without consistent, meaningful prayer, you'll find it nearly impossible to live successfully as a Christian. Prayer provides the spiritual oxygen you need to function in your true identity and access the resources available to you in Christ. **Moving Beyond Religious Performance** You must understand that genuine Christianity isn't about how well you behave or how much biblical knowledge you possess. It's about experiencing the reality of who you are in Christ and allowing that reality to manifest through supernatural expressions of His kingdom power. The goal isn't to become a better religious person, but to live as a spiritual being who operates in divine authority and power. Begin by setting aside extended time for prayer, even if it means sacrificing other activities. Expect to encounter resistance and distractions as you break through spiritual barriers. Surround yourself with people who will challenge your spiritual comfort zone rather than validate your current level of experience. Make God's word and spiritual conversations the center of your daily life, and watch as supernatural realities begin to manifest in ways that will surprise even you. Your spiritual inheritance includes healing power, prophetic insight, supernatural knowledge, and a tangible presence of God that others can sense. These aren't special gifts for a few elite believers—they're part of your normal spiritual equipment, waiting to be activated through consistent fellowship with God and proper spiritual associations. Welcome to Week 1 of our brand-new sermon series, Home Sweet Home! In this series, we're diving into God's design for the family — marriage, children, parenting, singleness — and how every season of life can flourish when Jesus is at the center of our home. In today's message, “A Christ-Centered Home,” Pastor Dustin unpacks the biblical blueprint for family, reminding us that the home is more than a physical place — it's a sacred space where faith is formed, character is shaped, and love is lived out daily. Whether you're single, married, parenting, or an empty-nester, God's vision for the home begins with Him at the center. Key Scriptures: Mark 10:6–8 | Psalm 127:3–5 | Deuteronomy 6:5–9 | Ephesians 6:1–3 | 1 Corinthians 7:7–8 | Proverbs 3:6 | Colossians 3:15–17 | Acts 2:46 | 1 Thessalonians 5:11 In this message, you'll discover: – God's view of marriage, children, parenting, and singleness – Why the home is a sanctuary, not a stage – 8 practical keys to building a Christ-centered home – How to create rhythms of peace, love, and authenticity – Why protecting the table and building memories matters for spiritual formation “Marriage is a covenant, not a contract. Children are a gift, not a project. Singleness is a season with divine assignment. The home is sacred because God designed it that way.” 8 Keys to a Christ-Centered Home: 1. Make God normal in your home 2. Set the tone with peace, not pressure 3. Let love be obvious and ongoing 4. Be the same person at home and in public 5. Say sorry and forgive quickly 6. Protect the table 7. Build memories, not just schedules 8. Remind each other who they are in Christ Closing Prayer from today's message. Heavenly Father, I thank You for our family. We declare that Jesus is the center of our home, our hope, and our future. We choose to love one another deeply, forgive quickly, and speak life over each other. We will make time for what matters most: Your Word, Your presence, your church, and each other. Our home will be a place of peace, joy, and grace. As for us and our house, we will serve the Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

The Living Waters Podcast

In Christianity, decision-making is an often mystified topic. Life is full of choices, and sin complicates things. Ray, E.Z., Mark, and Oscar discuss how Scripture offers a much clearer way forward. Making God-honoring decisions isn't about unlocking a secret code—it's about confidence in God's sovereignty. The heart of a believer is to walk in communion with God in every part of life, not just in moments of uncertainty. When someone fully surrenders to Christ, God will carry them. Walking in the fear of the Lord and having a reverent awe of who He is brings clarity. When someone lives for God's glory, every decision filters through that lens. The wisdom of God isn't hidden, it's available in His Word. The guys emphasize how we often overcomplicate things when Scripture is always sufficient. The more time someone spends in the Bible, the more their decisions reflect God's heart. The world may pressure and mislead, but the believer stays focused on Christ. Practically, decision-making often involves affinity (what someone loves), ability (what someone is good at), and opportunity (which doors are opening). The church plays a vital role here—believers need objective counsel. There's wisdom in a multitude of counselors. The guys remind believers to avoid surrounding themselves with yes men. Everyone needs people who aren't impressed by them and will speak the truth in love.Making unpopular decisions is difficult. That's why it's important to determine convictions before the moment comes. The more someone is in Scripture and community, the easier it becomes to stand strong. Even if alone, a believer is never truly alone- God stands with them. Knowing God's Word also narrows options in a good way. Don't ask God for direction while ignoring what He's already revealed. If God seems silent, perhaps He's already spoken and now it's time for obedience. The Bible is the instruction manual. As leaders, especially husbands, decisions must reflect God's will, not self-interest. Husbands are called to lead, but not alone; wives are given to help discern God's direction. Leadership is service- first to God, then to others. The world says to follow your heart, but the Bible says the heart is deceitful. God-honoring decisions come from God-saturated minds. Those who seek wisdom must ask God for it and saturate themselves in His Word. Surrounding oneself with praying, honest believers matters. As the guys remind Christians, faith is a refusal to panic. Wait on the Lord. Trust His ways over your own. Cry out to Him because He knows more than we ever will.Send us a textThanks for listening! Preparing His Bride | Jun 28, 2025 The Divine Life Within: Understanding Your True Spiritual Identity and Growth You must begin to look inward and recognize a fundamental truth: you are carrying something extraordinary within yourself. When you received Christ, you experienced a spiritual birth that was entirely different from your natural birth. You were not born of blood, flesh, or human will, but directly by God through His word. This means you carry within yourself the actual seed and nature of Christ—the same Word that created all things both visible and invisible. ## The Growth Process: Nature, Nurture, Culture Your spiritual development follows a clear pattern that can be understood as nature, nurture, and culture. First, you must recognize the divine nature that has been placed within you—this is the righteousness and holiness of God Himself. Second, this nature requires deliberate nurturing through consistent feeding on God's word, just as a newborn babe desperately desires milk for growth. Third, as you nurture this nature, it eventually becomes a culture—a way of life that naturally expresses the character of God. ## The Stages of Spiritual Maturity Your growth occurs in distinct stages, much like the progression through the tabernacle from the outer court to the holy place to the most holy place. You begin at a thirty-fold level of fruitfulness, advance to sixty-fold, and ultimately reach one hundred-fold maturity. Each stage requires different types of spiritual nourishment and the release of things that would hold you back from advancing to the next level. At the thirty-fold stage, certain immature behaviors may still linger. When transitioning to sixty-fold, critical things must be eliminated that would prevent further growth. The feeding plan changes at each level—what sustained you as a spiritual infant will not be sufficient for spiritual adulthood. You will inevitably face trials and testing as part of your growth process. These are not meant to destroy you but to refine you like gold in fire. The goldsmith does not remove the gold from the furnace until he can see his own reflection in the purified metal. Similarly, you will remain in the refining process until Christ's image is clearly reflected in your life. During these trials, remember that you are kept by the power of God. This isn't a one-time event but an ongoing process of salvation being worked out in your life. The same power that raised Christ from the dead dwells within you and preserves you through every difficulty. ## The Patience of a Farmer Spiritual maturity requires the patience of a farmer who plants seed, nurtures the crop, and waits for harvest time. Every farmer understands the importance of consistent care and the necessity of waiting for the proper season. You cannot rush this process, but you can be faithful in your part—consistently feeding on God's word and allowing the Holy Spirit to do His transforming work. When you engage with God's word, you must read for life, not merely for information. Many people read the Bible extensively but experience no transformation because they approach it as religious study rather than as spiritual nourishment. The word of God is spirit and life—it has the power to change your very essence when received with faith and hunger. As a newborn babe, you must develop a passionate desire for the pure milk of God's word. This isn't casual reading but desperate hunger for the life-giving substance that enables your growth. You must lay aside malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and evil speaking that would contaminate your ability to receive nourishment. The goal of your spiritual journey is the complete transformation of your being from corruptible to incorruptible. This includes not just your spirit and soul, but ultimately your physical body as well. The incorruptible life within you is designed to overcome and transform every aspect of your humanity. You must learn to live from the reality of what's within you rather than being controlled by external circumstances. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. The creator of the universe dwells within you, making you an overcomer by nature, not by effort. This requires a fundamental shift in how you see yourself and approach life. Instead of seeking to acquire spiritual power or blessing from outside sources, you must learn to draw from the infinite reservoir of divine life that already exists within you. Commit to meditating on God's word day and night like a tree planted by rivers of living water. Make God's word the absolute priority in your life, recognizing that everything else you need flows from this single source. Declare your commitment to grow, to study God's word, to believe what you read, to engage the Spirit of God, and to submit to His leading in every area of your life. Open Forum: Pastor Amos led a rich and transparent open forum discussion where participants explored how to make decisions led by God rather than by emotion. Carron raised questions about discerning God's voice when emotions are high, prompting Pastor Amos to encourage taking time to calm down, ask what Jesus would do, and trust God's guidance even through potential missteps. The conversation expanded to include topics like biblical interpretation, counseling methods, and the role of peace and fear in decision-making. Pastor Amos distinguished between following peace and avoiding discomfort, and he urged caution in projecting personal biases onto scripture. Testimonies about healing, personal growth, and wrestling with traditional doctrines enriched the dialogue, with Rosalind sharing her evolving views on baptism, tongues, and modesty. Pastor Amos emphasized the value of understanding scripture in context and avoiding man-made doctrines that can lead to spiritual bondage.    Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com

"What do you do when you're winning battles but losing strength?""You're conquering on the outside — but collapsing on the inside. Let's reset the temple.""Victory isn't enough if your soul is starving. This is your call to refuel."You can be winning battles in life and ministry — and still be completely worn out inside. In this powerful message from Week 5 of the This Is My Temple series, Pastor Joe Moss II shows how even bold spiritual leaders like Elijah (1 Kings 19:3–8) faced emotional burnout, exhaustion, and hidden emptiness after great public victories. Many high-capacity leaders today are winning publicly but breaking down privately — and it's often because we've neglected the daily refueling our temples need to sustain purpose.Drawing from 1 Corinthians 10:31 (fueling everything for God's glory), Galatians 6:9 (not growing weary in well-doing), and Isaiah 40:29–31 (renewing our strength through God), this message helps you:Understand the dangers of spiritual burnout and hidden exhaustion.Recognize the importance of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual fuel.See why leadership health matters just as much as leadership skill.Learn how purpose-driven living requires daily maintenance, not just big moments.Reset your temple through spiritual disciplines, real rest, and right habits.Build endurance to carry the glory over a lifetime — not just flash for a moment. If you've been leading on empty, serving while starving, or fighting while fatigued, this message is your call to reset your temple and refuel your life — God's way.Key Scriptures from today's message:
