These discussions highlight the key differences and similarities between Islam, Judaism, Catholicism, and Christianity, emphasizing concepts such as righteousness, forgiveness, and the afterlife. Segment 1: • Muslim student believes Islam is a fair and righteous path but admits she's not currently fit for heaven. • Student says righteousness comes by trying your best—not perfection—and hopes God will judge mercifully. • Student learns Christianity offers assurance of heaven not by works but through Jesus' righteousness. Segment 2: • Student explains Islamic modesty as empowering but admits she can't know if she'll go to heaven. • Students husband, Amil, describes a works-based salvation—good deeds must outweigh bad, but no one is certain. • Both contrast with Christianity, which offers forgiveness based on Jesus paying the penalty in full. Regardless, it is most often used against the backdrop of multiple continuation applications.Continuation applications are applications which all follow from (i.e., claim priority to) a single earlier application. Creating “families” of patent applications in this way is a very common practice and allows the patent owner to claim different embodiments of the original invention in response to changes in marketplace and/or technological evolution. In Sonos Inc. v. Google LLC, currently on appeal to the Federal Circuit, the district court, following a jury verdict in favor of the patentee, found Sonos’ patents unenforceable due to prosecution laches, despite Sonos diligently prosecuting continuation applications for 13 years, serially filing a continuation with each allowance. If upheld, the ruling will represent a notable change to patent practice with far-reaching effects for U.S. innovators of all stripes including, independent innovators, corporate innovators, and universities.This FedSoc forum will use the Sonos v. After moving to the Kansas City metro a few years ago, she began work with Columbus Park's Café Cà Phê owner, Jackie Nguyen to work toward Asian hate prevention in Kansas City. Through this, “Hella Good Deeds,” was created as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Throughout this episode, Lê Shackelford shares her journey and future hopes for the nonprofit as well as pivotal people who have inspired her along the way. Burnett and Williams additionally discuss happenings within the Missouri State House in Jefferson city — including government finances and what causes or organizations some of these funds are being allocated toward. The 19th annual Good Deeds Day will be marked March 18th, with thousands of volunteer activities in Israel and abroad. Organized by Ruach Tova, a nonprofit of the Arison Group, this year's theme is "Feels Good to Do Good," with a special focus on helping displaced residents of Israel's north and south.
