Have you ever hit the snooze button on something you knew you needed to deal with, and then watched the consequences pile up? In today's episode, I'm digging into one of the most overlooked truths in Scripture: time is a governor over our lives, and the wise are the ones who know what time it is. Drawing from 1 Chronicles 12:32, Psalm 90:12, Ephesians 5:15-17, and the tragic stories of Hezekiah's Judah (Isaiah 22) and King David (2 Samuel 11-12), I walk through what happens when we ignore the "set times" God has placed over our lives, and what it looks like to live awake, alert, and ready for the Lord's return. In this episode, you'll hear: Why "knowing what time it is" is a mark of biblical wisdom (and what happens when we don't)The story of the sons of Issachar, and what it means to have "understanding of the times"How Judah's leaders did all the right things in the wrong order, and what it cost themThe domino effect of King David's one moment of ignoring God's timingWhy even the godliest among us are still bound by timeHow a "kingdom first" mindset changes the way you steward your timeA personal wake-up call to examine what season you're really in Where to Dive In: 0:00 - Do You Know What Time It Is? 2:20 - Loving God's Word: From Junk Food to Living Bread 7:00 - Time Is a Governor 11:51 - Why Everything in Life Is Ruled by the Clock 20:22 - The Sons of Issachar: Understanding the Times 27:02 - A Time for Every Matter Under Heaven 29:22 - Judah's Tragic Mistake: Wise Moves, Wrong Order 32:56 - You Did Not Look to Your Maker 40:37 - King David: A Man After God's Heart, Still Bound by Time 44:00 - The Snooze Button That Changed Everything 50:28 - The Domino Effect of Ignoring God's Timing 53:04 - The Clock Is Ticking: Salvation Is Nearer Now 58:50 - Your Personal Wake-Up Call 1:00:27 - Final Challenge and Prayer Scriptures Referenced: 1 Chronicles 12 : 32Psalm 90 : 12Ephesians 5 : 15-17Ecclesiastes 3 : 1Isaiah 22 : 8-142 Chronicles 322 Samuel 11-12Romans 13 : 11Acts 1 : 7 About your host: Jaime Luce' testimony has daunting personal mountains and treacherous financial valleys. She was trapped in day-to-day stress and couldn't see a way forward. But how she started is not how she finished! And she wants you to know God has a plan for your life too, no matter how tough it seems. 276: The Invisible Barrier: Why You're "On Track" One Day and "Off the Rails" the Next

The Ending Your Binge Eating Podcast

How would you like to finally understand why you can start the day with total resolve, only to find yourself "off the rails" by 7:00 PM, and more importantly, how valuable would it be to have a system that keeps you on track even when your willpower is at zilch? If you are an ambitious, driven woman who has achieved success in so many areas of your life, yet you still feel "lost" and frustrated with your relationship with food, you aren't alone. Picture this: It's 8:00 AM. You've got your protein prepped, your water bottle in hand, and you're ready to "crush it." But as the day goes on, the meetings pile up, the kids are screaming, and that "itchy" feeling hits. Before you know it, you're in the pantry, feeling the heavy weight of a "failed" day before the sun is even down. Most women in this position think they are just "undisciplined." But continuing to beat yourself up for not being "strong enough" is costing you more than your health goals…it is literally eroding your self-trust and keeping you stuck in a self-fulfilling prophecy. In this episode, we break down the three real reasons you're sliding "off the rails":Physical Fueling: Why "slow is smooth and smooth is fast" when it comes to nourishing your body. The Perfection Trap: Why planning to be perfect is actually a plan for failure. The Pressure Cooker: Why going through your day without a release valve for stress is like shaking a soda bottle and being surprised when it explodes the moment you crack the cap. You have a choice right now: You can keep trying to be "perfect" and continue this exhausting cycle… OR you can choose to build a pragmatic toolset that supports your life even when it gets messy. It's time to stop fighting yourself and start supporting yourself.Inside this episode:How to use the "Domino Effect" to create automatic success. The 200+ food decisions you're making daily (and why your willpower is finite).Shifting from a deprivation mindset to an Abundance Mindset where satiety finally "clicks."Resources Mentioned:FREE Audio Training: Stop the urges and cravings with my 4-step process. Grab it at reshandayates.com/cravingsBrain Freedom Protocol Waitlist: Be the first to know when we open the challenge again! reshandayates.com/freedomP.S. I know you're used to being the "strong one" in every other area of your life. I also know that "trying harder" hasn't worked here. It's time to stop the "on track/off track" roller coaster and build a system that is smarter than your stress.Did you enjoy the episode?  DM me on instagram and let me know what you thought.

HELP SUPPORT US AS WE DOCUMENT HISTORY HERE: https://gogetfunding.com/help-keep-wam-alive/# Josh Sigurdson reports on the international push for energy lockdowns, something we've been warning of for many years as the Strait of Hormuz continues to be shuttered, the Marines prepare for troop deployment in Iran and priced skyrocket. Governments are bringing in rations worldwide as watchdog groups call for full fledged energy lockdowns. This means not being able to fly, drive, access your money or buy food. From Asia to Europe, from Australian shortages to US, Canadian and British mandates, the situation is escalating fast. Governments tend to target energy infrastructure in war and when the war is on humanity's independence itself, expect the same. Order out of chaos. Problem, reaction, solution, repeat. With the digital ration system already in place with things like the UN's Pact For The Future which 193 countries signed onto in 2024 and blackouts scheduled for Earth Hour in the UK with laws to be reached by 2029 with the ban of beef and lamb as well as bans on air travel, it isn't rocket science that this is a manufactured crisis using emergencies like the Iran War to achieve. Cuba's power grid is down. Another example. Oil is being withheld from multiple nations. Tankers being seized. Meanwhile as we've warned, power is shifting from the west to the east in the WEF's reset as Russia's oil and has revenue doubles in a month and many countries are turning to the Chinese Yuan over the dollar for banking. Pakistan has also made major deals with Iran this week, allowing some of their tankers through the Strait of Hormuz. If this isn't an emergency situation, what is? Most are completely dependent on grocery stores, banks and fuel. They all go together. Australia has lineups of trucks unable to move because of diesel shortages as gas stations shut off pumps. Het is een aflevering met doemscenario's. Het Internationaal Energieagentschap zegt dat er vanwege de oorlog in Iran sprake is van een grote energiecrisis. Erger nog dan de oliecrisis van de jaren 70. Waardoor we allemaal aanpassingen moeten doen. It disrupts the systems that power global trade — energy markets, shipping networks, financial systems, and currency stability.Lee breaks down three major economic forces already shaping the global response to the conflict. The first is oil and energy shocks. Rising oil prices affect nearly every aspect of the coffee industry, from fertilizer production and farm inputs to transportation, roasting energy costs, and food inflation. The second is freight inflation. As geopolitical risk increases, shipping insurance costs rise and logistics companies reroute vessels to avoid dangerous areas. These disruptions increase the cost of moving goods globally, including green coffee. The third is currency and financial volatility. Because coffee and oil are traded in US dollars, instability in currency markets can ripple across coffee-producing countries, affecting export pricing, producer income, and hedging strategies. These interconnected pressures create powerful inflationary forces throughout the coffee value chain. From rising farm input costs to higher freight prices and increased retail prices, the economic effects of conflict extend far beyond the battlefield. In the final episode of the series, Lee explores what the coffee industry should be paying attention to now in order to prepare for what may come next.Connect with Lee Safar and Map It Forward here:https://www.linkedin.com/in/leesafar/https://mapitforward.coffeehttps://www.instagram.com/leesafarhttps://www.instagram.com/mapitforward.coffee ***************************************About Map It Forward The Daily Coffee Pro is produced by Map It Forward, supporting coffee professionals globally across the supply chain.Website: https://mapitforward.coffeeMailing list: https://mapitforward.coffee/mailinglistPatreon: https://www.patreon.com/mapitforwardInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mapitforward.coffee/Contact: support@mapitforward.org

Padmé and Duchess Satine attempt to expose the criminal network, while Ahsoka goes undercover to investigate corruption among Mandalore's leadership.Beyond simply recapping the episodes, the conversation dives into the philosophical themes behind Satine's pacifism, asking whether moral absolutism can actually make a government weaker. We're headed on the road in 2026! Buy tickets here:https://www.x1entertainment.com/bttb"Let's get into the episode so we can bitch a lot! Yay, everyone wants to hear us bitch!" It's true, we can't get enough of it! And on Season 5's "The Great Divide" it turns out the other moms couldn't get enough of it either. With the ALDC back in Pittsburgh it doesn't take long for things to get heated as the fallout from the pretty disastrous trip to LA begin to pick apart what little group dynamic there was.Jill is worried about how she's being perceived for siding with Abby during the MattyB shoot. While she did initially support Holly, Jill knows if she crosses Abby it'll only lead to Kendall getting retaliated against and sees her pivot to Team Abby as a natural choice. Of course that doesn't sit right with Holly, who feels not only betrayed but believes Jill and Melissa's kowtowing to Abby sets a bad example for the girls and dooms only Nia to failure when there would have been strength in numbers. But Holly decides it's time she rethink how she views her friendships with the moms, in order to at the very least avoid future heartbreak. This in turn only makes Jill more frustrated with the situation.Abby is more concerned with the upcoming competition in New Jersey, which starts their teen division at age 12. This would mean the ALDC would have to compete against older dancers, and Abby doesn't think her girls stand a chance. In fact she makes clear that once one of her dancers enters the teen division, she no longer sees them as her student. Despite being an embarrassing admission of guilt in regards to her skillset ,the only person who'll suffer for it is Kalani who now has to sit out the group dance in order for the team to compete in the Junior category. Her consolation prize however is a solo with actually interesting and fresh choreography. Unfortunately Abby doesn't so easily forget when she feels wronged, and Nia in turn is presented with a very stale solo routine and isn't even given the dignity of having Abby pay attention to her rehearsal.Quotes“...or a priest because it was obviously another immaculate reception. Wait what is it? Conception, not reception! I'm from Pittsburgh, the Immaculate Reception is what we care about more." (02:15-02:24 | Christi)“I can do anything I put my mind to Christi! I know, you don't give up Kelly. If there's one thing I know it's that you perceiver, especially in the name of alcohol." (04:24-04:33 | Christi & Kelly)“Kira attempts to show some appreciation of Holly's actions and gives her kudos for doing it. Huh, as long as Holly's got kudos she doesn't need anyone backing her up!" (1:22:47-1:22:57 | Christi)“Kira and Jill both told me at the reunion that they never watched the show before they were on it. Oh, ok and I'm a natural blonde. Get outta here!" Have you ever looked back at your life and thought, "Why in the world did I do that?" In this message, Pastor Jamie Nunnally explains that your vision makes the decision, and your voices make the choices. What is vision?Your vision for your life is who you think you are and what you think you should be doing. Whether you realize it or not, you have beliefs about yourself, and those beliefs determine how you act. You will act like the person you think you are.In other words, your vision isn't just what you're aiming for—it's the script you're already living from.Matthew 7:13–14 reminds us that the narrow road is difficult and few find it. The narrow road isn't just about where you end up—it's about who you become along the way.Your vision makes the decision.Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint." God's vision for your life will require God to get involved. If you can do it without Him, it's not from Him.Your voices make the choices.Every future decision has already been affected by how you answer this question: What voices have I allowed a place of influence in my life?1 Corinthians 15:33 says, "Bad company corrupts good morals." These voices will make your choices. That means we have to install filters. An air filter keeps impurities out. Not everyone should have access to your decision-making process; you have to install filters and keep the harmful stuff out.Three filters to install:1. The Word of God.Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." The Bible doesn't just give direction—it exposes danger. It shows what's right and wrong before you step there.2. The Spirit of God.The Word gives general rules for everyone, but the Spirit of God speaks God's specific instruction to you. He will never contradict the written Word, but He will personalize it.1 Corinthians 2:11–12,14 reminds us that we can only understand God's thoughts through God's Spirit. God is speaking to you, but if you haven't turned on your receiver, you can't hear Him.3. The People of God.Proverbs 13:20 says, "Walk with the wise and become wise." You don't need everyone's opinion, but you do need the right people's perspective.Engage the blade! Behind every decision you've ever made—good or bad—is a vision and voices. What vision is shaping your decisions, and which voices are making your choices?

Dr. Canty has taught psychology at all levels—from community college students to postdoctoral interns. She worked as a forensic psychologist in a large mental hospital for several years. Dr. Canty was awarded Faculty of the Year in her second year of teaching graduate school. She received awards for her photography. Life circumstances delivered her to be uniquely qualified to address surviving murder both from a professional and a personal viewpoint. This is the underpinning of her true- crime memoir, A Life Divided (in print and audiobook formats). Her second book, What Now? Navigating the Aftermath of Homicide and Suicide is a reference book. It is the book she wished she had as a new widow. Dr. Canty also launched a podcast for other homicide survivors entitled Domino Effect of Murder in 2020, now heard in fourteen countries, wherein some guests cautiously told their stories for the first time. Others were already center stage, such as Cook County sheriff's lead investigator, Detective Jason Moran, who works to find answers for families awaiting word on the murders committed by serial murderer John Wayne Gacey. In August of About the Author 253 2019, she was the only nonlaw enforcement guest to speak at the International Association for Identification, the oldest and largest forensic association in the world. In addition, she has been a contributor to Death Investigator Magazine, a digital publication for the death- investigator community. Dr. Canty also administers a private Facebook group (Homicide Survivors and Thrivers) for survivors struggling with grief after homicide. These endeavors opened a rich network of consultants who've generously con tributed to this book. Dr. Canty has appeared as a guest on many podcasts both in the United States and internationally. She presently lives and works (as a consultant) for the federal government and spends her free time with her family, friends, and two Saint Bernards, and continuing her photography, gardening, writing, and traveling.https://jancantyphd.com/https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2Q1WV3W https://www.pastliveshypnosis.co.uk/https://www.patreon.com/ourparanormalafterlifeMy book 'Verified Near Death Experiences' https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DXKRGDFP Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. In physics, a single domino can knock over another domino that is 50% larger. If lined up properly, your single initial action could eventually knock over a piece the size of the Eiffel Tower. Instead of coming up with a laundry list of goals for 2026, what if you focused on one big thing that would have a monumental impact on your financial life? We will offer a few examples and stories as inspiration, but ultimately, your choice of domino is completely up to you.

Decisions are like dominos. And here we are—2026—standing in front of the next domino. In this message, Lead Pastor Jamie Nunnally shares how your life hasn't been shaped by big moments as much as by little choices. This message is called "Last Year's Choices." This isn't to give you a hard time about what you did last year—we all made good decisions and bad decisions in 2025. This is to help you understand how you got where you are and how to use the domino effect for your good. Our current lives are the sum total of our decisions. Some choices were intentional, some reactive, some made under pressure, and some dominoes were knocked over by others. I'm not saying you chose everything that happened to you, but you did choose how you responded."We are all born looking like our parents, but we all die looking like our decisions."If decisions brought us here, decisions can take us somewhere new.Where you are didn't happen all at once. It happened one choice at a time, one habit at a time, one reaction at a time. Last year's choices produced this year's realities, and this year's choices will produce next year's reality. You really do have a choice.Deuteronomy 30:19 reminds us God sets life and death before us and calls us to choose. You can't control your upbringing or circumstances, but you do control your decisions. You can't rewrite yesterday, but you can redirect today. When it comes to decisions, your default is not good.Joshua 24:15 shows that if we don't choose God, we don't choose nothing—we choose what's familiar. If you don't choose what's godly, you'll choose what's comfortable. You are good at making bad choices.Jeremiah 17:9 says the human heart is deceitful. Your heart doesn't just feel; it steers. That's why Proverbs 4:23 says to guard your heart, because it determines the course of your life. Good intentions don't stop bad decisions—good decisions do.Your choices begin as thoughts.James 1:15 shows how desire becomes action. A thought isn't a sin, but when desire meets decision, it produces direction. Philippians 4 reminds us to think on what is true and right, then put it into practice. Your thoughts are practice for your actions.Your choices are not private.Every decision affects someone. Numbers 32:23 reminds us what we repeat privately becomes who we are publicly. Personal choices become public patterns.Today is next year's "last year." You can start now.Is the domino effect working for you—or against you?

Do you think you need more self-discipline to succeed? Whether you want to eat healthier or write that book, it's easy to assume you're going to wait until you have more willpower to reach those goals. But what if the key isn't self-discipline at all? Today, I'm sharing two powerful strategies that can help you reach your goals without relying on forcing yourself to do something you hate: the Domino Effect and the Lazy Genius approach. Some of the things I talk about are: The biggest misconceptions about self-discipline How to work smarter, not just harder How understanding your brain makes it easier to work with your natural tendencies, rather than fight against them How the Domino Effect can create big results from small changes The Lazy Genius approach to designing your environment for success Why professional athletes struggle with self-discipline outside their sport How to make the right choice the easy choice Practical tips for reaching goals How to decide which approach to take to reach your goals Subscribe to Mentally Stronger Premium for exclusive content like weekly bonus episodes, mental strength challenges, and office hours with me.
