What does it take to trust yourself again when the world has been loud, the grief has been real, and you spent years pouring everything into someone else's survival? In this episode of Someone Gets Me, Dianne A. Allen sits down with Shannon Allman, journalist, late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD adult, and widow of the legendary Gregg Allman, for one of the most tender and honest conversations this show has ever had. Shannon opens up about her decade of quiet healing, the routines that keep her nervous system anchored, and what it cost her to pour herself entirely into caregiving while she quietly disappeared. She also shares what it was like to watch Gregg Allman the persona step forward and Gregory the man step back. She spent her formative adult years caregiving for her beloved late husband with cancer, a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, while touring the world with his band and working in digital media. When she was widowed at 28, she didn't understand why she experienced a total mental and physical shutdown until being diagnosed years later with autism, ADHD, Ehler's Danlos Syndrome, C-PTSD, and other comorbid conditions exacerbated by caregiver burnout and grief. She's spent the last 9 years devoting her life to researching the connections between grief, trauma, abuse, illness, neurodivergencies, giftedness, and high sensitivity and to learning the skills and practices needed for healing and thriving. She finds purpose in helping others navigate grief, illness, trauma, and late diagnoses via her social media which sees up to 4 million monthly viewers. Jesus didn't promise a life without trouble. He promised that we would never walk through it alone. In the final episode of our John 14 series, Joe explores Jesus' promise of the Holy Spirit, the gift of lasting peace, and what it really means to trust God when life feels uncertain.Instead of living from fear, worry, and the need to control every outcome, we're invited to believe that God is already with us, guiding us every step of the way. This episode is a reminder that peace isn't found when our circumstances change. Peace begins when we remember we're never alone.Wrapping up John 14, Joe reflects on Jesus' promise to send the Holy Spirit as our Advocate and constant companion. The conversation centers on the difference between living from fear and living from faith. Joe shares how worry and faith both require belief in something unseen, but we get to choose which direction our imagination takes us.He encourages listeners to release control, trust God's direction, and remember that the Holy Spirit is always present, offering wisdom, peace, and guidance. The episode concludes with a practical invitation to pray with gratitude instead of fear and to walk through life believing that God is already working.Music by Viktor Sklemin from Pixabay

What does it really mean to have no other gods before God? Are idols only carved statues, or can they be found in our careers, relationships, hobbies, ministries, or even ourselves? In this episode of The Truth Response, Derek, Dave, and Matt continue their Ten Commandments series by exploring the first three commandments in Exodus 20. They unpack why God begins by calling His people to exclusive devotion, why the second commandment is about worshiping God rightly rather than reducing Him to something manageable, and why taking God's name "in vain" involves far more than simply avoiding certain words. Together they discuss modern idolatry, hypocrisy, reverence, and what it means to genuinely represent Christ in everyday life.Clarity in chaos. Bringing hope to a chaotic world.Whether you've studied the Ten Commandments for years or are reading them with fresh eyes, this conversation will challenge you to examine what truly holds first place in your heart and remind you that God's commands are loving guardrails leading His people toward freedom—not burdens meant to earn His love.patreon.com/TheTruthResponsehttps://linktr.ee/thetruthresponsehttps://www.instagram.com/thetruthresponse/https://www.facebook.com/thetruthresponsehttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-truth-response/id1504362531https://open.spotify.com/show/6Kpkgsy7I7zVuv5UyiRACu?si=BqwQH988RW2DpLbYg5BnSA
July was Voice Month on Dancing in the Discomfort Zone, and what started as four completely different conversations turned out to have one beautiful common thread: Your voice is how people experience you, and especially today...that matters! As Anne (https://YourChangeSpeaker.com) celebrates another trip around the sun (Happy Birthday Anne!), she reflects on the lessons shared by John Di Domenico, Joshua Seth, Hilary Blair, and Beth Z and explores why our voices matter now more than ever. In a world filled with AI, deepfakes, curated social media personas, and constant noise, authenticity has become one of our greatest superpowers. In This Episode, We Talk About: Why your voice is far more than just the sound coming out of your mouth How authenticity and human connection are becoming more valuable in the age of AI The ways your voice builds trust, relationships, and influence Why intentional communication matters more than being louder How to think about the "flowers" you're leaving in your footsteps Questions to ConsiderHow do people experience you?Are you using your voice intentionally? What stories are you telling? What truths are you willing to speak? What kind of ripples are you creating? As Anne enters her 52nd year, she offers a powerful reminder:Maybe the goal isn't to be louder or more impressive. Maybe it's simply to use the voice we've been given to leave people feeling seen, heard, and a little bit better for having crossed our path. Anne Bonney is a keynote speaker and emcee who helps organizations lead through change by building resilience, emotional intelligence, and courageous communication.

Nathan Michael, Chief Technology Officer, Shield AI joined Grayson Brulte on The Road to Autonomy podcast to discuss why the future of warfare is autonomous. The conflicts in Ukraine and Iran have made the case for autonomy abundantly clear. Drones create asymmetric advantage by driving down the cost per effect, delivering outcomes at reach without putting pilots and service members into harm's way. As trust in these systems grows through engineered performance and assurance, autonomous systems will increasingly engage in combat and change the face of modern warfare.Shield AI's solution to the future of warfare is Hivemind, an AI pilot designed from the beginning to be platform agnostic, mission agnostic, and domain agnostic. This architecture aligns with the Air Force's autonomy government reference architecture for the Collaborative Combat Aircraft program, which mandates modularity and no vendor lock-in.No vendor lock-in is becoming a global standard, with nations demanding sovereign autonomy, ownership of data, and the flexibility to swap in the most performant AI pilot as the technology rapidly improves. Watch the YouTube version of this episode HEREYou don't know where you'll be next Tuesday and that's exactly the point. In this episode of Maximum Lawyer, Tyson Mutrux sits down with trademark attorney and educator Sonia Lakhany, who has turned her entire life into a delegation and systems experiment by putting everything she owns in storage and becoming a “fancy homeless” digital nomad. Sonia shares how she runs two thriving companies while living out of a single bag and cycling through hotels around the world, using extreme efficiency, SOPs, and intentional lifestyle design to strip away errands, household chores, and decision fatigue so she can focus on deep work, creativity, and enjoying the freedom she built. From departure checklists and dopamine menus to virtual mailboxes and hotel‑based “done‑for‑you” living, Sonia walks Tyson through the operational choices that make her nomad life possible and the business lessons law firm owners can steal even if they never leave their hometown. She talks candidly about solo travel, loneliness, and choosing not to have kids, how ADHD and a craving for “whimsy” drove her away from traditional employment, and why she now sees trademarks as the ultimate lifestyle practice area for lawyers who want flexibility, global reach, and lean, high‑margin firms. They also dig into her 4L Education platform and flagship “Two Weeks to Trademarks” course, including why hundreds of alumni keep coming back for live reteaches, how she leverages AI to systematize her own law firm, and what it really looks like to build a business that funds your bucket‑list life instead of competing with it.What You'll LearnHow Sonia designed a “digital nomad” life that eliminates errands, chores, and home maintenance through radical delegationWhy running two companies from hotel rooms forced her to systematize everything from travel checklists to client workHow solo travel, white space, and pattern interrupts supercharge her creativity and strategic thinkingWhy she believes permanency (houses, kids, routines) isn't for everyone and how that shapes her business choicesWhat makes trademark law a lifestyle‑friendly, globally scalable practice area for lawyersHow her 4L Education and “Two Weeks to Trademarks” course help attorneys escape burnout and build flexible practicesWhy alumni keep re‑attending her live reteaches and how AI is changing the way she teaches and practices trademarksHighlights 00:00 – Why Sonia doesn't know where she'll be next Tuesday and her “fancy homeless” origin story05:00 – Delegating life: hotels, virtual mailboxes, and stripping away errands and chores10:00 – Departure checklists, extreme efficiency, and SOPs for travel and business20:00 – Solo travel, loneliness, and designing a life without partners, pets, or kids30:00 – ADHD, whimsy, and why Sonia was never built to be a traditional employee40:00 – Building lean teams, avoiding management bloat, and redefining success beyond headcount50:00 – Inside 4L Education and “Two Weeks to Trademarks,” lifestyle lawyering, and global trademark opportunities55:00 – Live reteaches, CLE, unreasonable hospitality, and using AI to future‑proof your practiceConnect with Sonia:Instagram YouTube Linkedin

Your Hope-Filled Perspective with Dr. Michelle Bengtson podcast
Episode Summary: Have you ever felt like life knocked you down so hard you weren’t sure you’d ever get back up again? Today’s guest, Greg J. Horn, knows that kind of pain firsthand. After losing three close friends to suicide and experiencing the devastating collapse of his own business, marriage, and home—all within 24 hours—Greg was left at rock bottom. But God met him there. From that place of brokenness, a new ministry was born: Hope is Here. Today on Your Hope-Filled Perspective, Greg shares how to move from fear to hope, how gratitude can transform our outlook, and how we can live each day with a renewed sense of purpose. Quotables from the episode: I lost my business, my home, and my marriage in about a 24-hour period and I’ll say it, I was hopeless. Honestly, my faith in Jesus is what really kept me alive during that season.” Fear, we see it, but so many times it’s not real. Even though I did feel fearful, I could stay hopeful as I read God’s Word and didn’t give in to my feelings of fear. Biblical hope is when you say, ‘God, even though I don’t see You working, and I don’t feel You working, I’m going to trust You because You are my source of hope.’ I can tell you now on the other side of it, 20 years later, that all things do work together.” No matter how hopeless it may look, no matter how hopeless it may feel, God truly will use all of it for His glory. As I leaned into Jesus, He slowly but surely started healing the broken pieces of my heart and my mind. You have to choose to be resilient, but with Jesus’ help you can do that. Instead of asking why so much, say, ‘God, what do You want me to learn from this, and how can I be a blessing to other people through it?’ God, through this process, gave me an acronym when I started Hope Is Here, the word HOPE: H-Hold On --everything can change in 24 hours. I mean, something can change for the better. Yes, it can change for the worse, just like my situation did, but just to simply hold on. know God may show up in a way that'll just blow your mind and give you hope, even though things seem hopeless at the time. O-Open up to at least one person--So many times the enemy lies to it and just says, you know, this is hopeless, you're never going to climb out of this situation. And I'm thankful that I was able to open up the others and tell them when I was hopeless and having suicidal thoughts. And that was just amazing the difference that made. Once again, Jesus modeled that when he asked Peter, James, and John, hey man, I've got this overwhelming situation. The existence of evil in a world made by a good God isn't all that hard to explain. But how can evil exist in a world where believers with even a modicum of belief are promised anything they ask for in prayer? Have you ever thought about why that is and what it says about our faith? In this eye-opening episode of SoulTalk, Kute Blackson challenges the way you've been chasing calm in a world built on noise, speed, and constant stimulation. Most people aren't truly at peace, they're distracted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from themselves. And the more they try to control life, the further peace seems to slip away. Kute reveals a powerful truth: peace isn't the absence of chaos; it's your ability to stay rooted within it. Through simple, practical shifts like breathing, slowing down, and observing your thoughts, you'll learn how to reconnect with the one place peace has always lived: within you. If life feels like "too much" lately, this episode will help you reset, refocus, and come back to center. Are you observing your thoughts… or being controlled by them? In This Episode, You'll Learn How to access peace immediately; no matter what's happening around you The subtle daily patterns that keep you stuck in stress and overwhelm A simple breathing reset that can shift your entire state in minutes How to create space between you and your thoughts (without fighting them) Why slowing down is the ultimate advantage in a fast, chaotic world Get in Touch: Create a life that is a masterpiece. On April Fools’ Day, when the internet is overflowing with fake news and bad jokes, one thing becomes painfully clear: people can’t tell truth from nonsense anymore. In this Small Town Soapbox, Darien cuts through the noise to challenge the culture of “gotcha” moments, viral hoaxes, and manufactured outrage. With humor and conviction, he makes the case for something radical these days: being real. Say what you mean. Mean what you say. And live by it. Everywhere we look in our world there are so many tragedies it's easy to ask, "Where is God in all of this?" Does He even know about our suffering and, if He does, why doesn't He do more? These are the questions that cut right to the heart of our deepest doubts and struggles with religion and spirituality. But this is also where A Course in Miracles can help, because the Course offers a series of teachings that - when you put them together - provide an answer to this long-standing question that actually makes sense. If you've ever wondered how a loving God could allow so much pain, you won't want to miss this Sunday Gathering message from Emily Perry. ___________________________ Since 1993, our purpose has been to help with both the theory and practical application of A Course in Miracles. In this deeply moving interview, Lorna Byrne joins Emilio Ortiz on Just Tap In Podcast to share what she has been shown about the unseen spiritual reality unfolding during times of global conflict. According to Lorna, millions of angels are actively entering war zones—not to escalate chaos, but to bring comfort, protection, and love to those experiencing unimaginable suffering. She describes witnessing angels holding souls, guiding the injured, and surrounding people in moments of fear with a presence most of us cannot see—but can feel. This episode offers a radically different perspective on what's happening in the world right now, revealing that even in the darkest environments, something deeply compassionate is at work.✦ Join the Deep Dive Membership | https://iamemilioortiz.com/the-deep-d...At its core, this conversation is about love—real, unconditional love—and the role humanity plays in restoring it on Earth. Lorna explains that we are not here to wait for change, but to become it through small, daily actions: compassion, forgiveness, empathy, and courage. She speaks about humanity's awakening, the activation of our spiritual gifts, and a future where peace is not just possible, but inevitable. This is a reminder that beyond the noise, beyond the fear, there is something much deeper unfolding—and we each have a part in it.___________________PODCAST CHAPTERS00:00 – Lorna Byrne Intro2:07 - Why We're Afraid to Love 4:16 - Do Angels Love Differently Than Humans?6:56 - A Vision of Humanity11:08 - How Do We Stay Pure in a World Full of Negativity?12:13 - Loving Your “Enemy” & Breaking Cycles of Hate14:22 - The Hidden Hope in Humanity Right Now16:43 - Angels Are Being Sent Into War Zones17:46 - What Would Angels Do in Human Form?24:25 - The Future: A Glimpse of Heaven on Earth26:54 - Mysterious Particles Awakening Human Consciousness29:35 - Humanity Is Evolving Faster Than Ever31:29 - Love Conquers Everything31:35 - The 7 Spiritual Gifts Within Every Human32:19 - Seeing Through the Eyes of the Soul35:45 - A Child Levitating Across the Street (Real Story)41:12 - The Abilities Humanity Hasn't Discovered Yet44:38 - How to Access Love From Your Soul Daily49:39 - Why Loving Yourself Changes Everything50:38 - “Will It Ever Stop?” — Humanity's Breaking Point51:55 - Has Lorna Ever Seen Her Own Soul?52:31 - What Angels Are Doing in War Zones Right Now58:42 - Sending “Unemployed Angels” to Help Others1:00:38 - Your Guardian Angel Is With You Right Now1:07:35 - What Is Humanity's True Purpose?1:10:42 - How Angels Quietly Guide Us Every Day1:14:15 - Lorna's Deepest Prayer for Humanity___________________Guest: Lorna Byrne | Messenger of the Angels ✦ Website | https://lornabyrne.com/✦ Instagram | / lornabyrneangels ✦ YouTube | @Lornabyrneangels ✦ Support the Sanctuary | https://lornabyrne.com/sanctuary/✦ About Lorna Byrne Foundation | https://lornabyrne.com/foundation/✦ Upcoming Events | https://lornabyrne.com/events/ Host: Emilio Ortiz✦ IG | / iamemilioortiz ✦ Subscribe to Channel | / emilioortiz Special Offerings to Support the Show:✦ Make a One-Time or Recurring Donation on PayPal

Discernment is becoming harder to practice in a world saturated with constant noise and endless opinions. Ray, E.Z., Mark, and Oscar examine how digital overload, social media, and frictionless interactions have created a discipleship problem where believers are shaped more by algorithms than by Scripture. The guys explain that discernment is not just knowing right from wrong, but recognizing truth from almost truth, and that deception often works by dulling awe and distracting hearts from God's presence. They emphasize the need for genuine relationships, slow reading, and meditation on God's word as the antidote to shallow knowledge and spiritual confusion. The guys also warn that truth mixed with error can be more dangerous than outright lies, making daily engagement with Scripture essential. Ultimately, the guys call listeners to let Scripture become their filter, to learn the voice of the Shepherd, and to stay rooted in Christ amid a distracted and noisy age.Send us a textThanks for listening! Economist George Economou joins us today to share why stocks and gold are soaring in the modern global market. He talks about his global outlook on markets amid rising economic and geopolitical uncertainty, AI-driven growth narratives, stock buybacks, and deep investor anxiety fueled by a multipolar world. We also chat on trade tensions, and escalating conflicts across the globe. He explained how falling interest rates continue to prop up U.S. and European stocks despite stretched valuations, why gold is surging as central banks and investors hedge geopolitical risk, and why tariffs are unlikely to succeed economically over the long run. We discuss... George Economou outlined his background as a Greece-based macroeconomist, financial consultant, academic, and economics educator. Rising tariffs, shifting trade policies, and the growing independence of BRICS nations are major sources of macro instability. Europe is particularly vulnerable, with echoes of pre-2008 risks despite strong headline equity performance. U.S. equity markets are being driven by AI-led profit growth, excess liquidity, and falling interest rates rather than pure fundamentals. European equity strength is largely attributed to corporate stock buybacks rather than underlying economic health. Falling interest rates globally were highlighted as a key driver pushing investors away from bonds and into equities. Gold prices were said to be surging due to geopolitical uncertainty and aggressive central bank accumulation, especially by BRICS nations. Geopolitical risks involving Russia–Ukraine, the Middle East, and China–Taiwan are central drivers of market anxiety. Tariffs are a political tool aimed at reshoring U.S. production, but one that economic theory suggests will be inefficient long term. AI investment is comparable to early smartphone adoption, requiring heavy upfront spending before productivity gains become visible. CEOs' frustration with AI returns is linked to poor implementation rather than a lack of long-term potential. Extremely high global equity valuations are attributed to investors avoiding bonds and real estate due to unattractive risk-reward dynamics. Sustained market valuations is questioned, with the warning that expensive assets eventually decline when buyers step away.
