In this week's episode of Warriors Unmasked, Chuck Thuss is joined by Dr. Audrey Schnell, a highly experienced personal development expert with over 40 years of helping people overcome self-sabotage, embrace transformation, and achieve their full potential. Dr. Schnell's insights are a gift for anyone looking to break through their barriers and create meaningful change in their lives. During the episode, Dr. Schnell shares her wisdom on identifying the root causes of self-sabotage, highlighting that it's not a moral failing but a survival instinct rooted in fear. She explores how our unconscious habits can hold us back and offers actionable strategies for breaking free from these patterns. From discussing the importance of resilience to advocating for daily personal growth practices, Dr. Schnell empowers listeners to reframe their thinking, embrace their strengths, and chart a path toward personal transformation. Key Takeaways from Dr. Schnell's Expertise: Self-Sabotage as Survival: Dr. Schnell redefines self-sabotage as “self-survival,” explaining that our resistance to change often stems from our brain's natural desire to stay safe. By understanding this, we can approach self-improvement with compassion rather than criticism. Building the Resilience Muscle: Resilience is a cornerstone of success and happiness. Dr. Schnell emphasizes the importance of practicing resilience daily, likening it to a muscle that grows stronger with use. She offers practical tips for handling stress, failure, and feedback constructively. The Role of Gratitude and Connection: Dr. Schnell highlights the profound impact of gratitude and meaningful connections on mental and emotional health. She encourages listeners to nurture relationships, seek out positive influences, and prioritize their well-being. Personal Development Tools and Insights Dr. Schnell provides actionable strategies for starting and sustaining personal development, such as creating an evidence list of accomplishments to combat negative thinking and focusing on small, achievable goals to build momentum. She also challenges common misconceptions, like the idea that you must love yourself before being loved by others, instead emphasizing the healing power of relationships. A Message of Hope One of the most powerful messages from this episode is Dr. Schnell's call to give yourself grace and to never lose hope. She reminds listeners that miracles happen and that embracing hope and positivity can lead to profound transformation. Listen to the full episode to gain Dr. Schnell's valuable insights and learn how to identify self-sabotaging patterns, build resilience, and step into the best version of yourself. “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” -1 Corinthians 13:13 We seem to hear a lot about faith and love. But what about hope? How important is hope? Can we have love and faith if we don't have hope? What can we do when we feel hopelessness or despair? “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” -Romans 8:28 I love Romans 8:28. It makes me imagine our knight and shining armor—Jesus—swooping in and saving the day. Jesus will right every wrong. Jesus will wipe every tear from our eyes. If you love God, know that all things work together for good.   Holistically Healthy Woman: 4 Steps to Move Away from Modern Medicine for Christians www.herholistichealing.com/free   Free Community www.facebook.com/groups/herholistichealing   Book (Discover God's Health Wisdom: Exposing 8 Common Myths That Keep You Sick) www.herholistichealing.com/book   Holistic Health Coaching www.herholistichealing.com/coaching   Website www.herholistichealing.com   E-mail hello@herholistichealing.com   This content is not meant to be personal medical advice.

There is constant suspicion and segregation in our cities and communities between black and white, rich and poor, right-wing and left-wing. The list goes on. There is even tension between colleagues at work and cruelty and hurt in our homes. Is it possible for human beings to stop fighting? Can there ever be lasting peace within our communities and cultures? The answer is yes. There is a peace and unity that happens between people when they come to know Christ.
