James and Angela Craig had been together for 23 years and this was the kind of long-term, settled marriage everyone assumes is unshakeable. Then, out of nowhere, Angela started getting sick. Really sick. Weird symptoms, multiple hospital trips, and absolutely no clue what was causing it. But behind that “perfect family” image, things were far from perfect. Money stress, growing tension, and whispers of cheating were already simmering in the background. And as Angela kept getting worse, the cracks in their marriage started showing fast. EPISODE 112 - “CLASSIC CINEMA STAR OF THE MONTH: JACQUELINE WHITE” - 11/03/25 When we think of our beloved Classic film stars who are still with us, we tend to think of EVA MARIE SAINT, ANN BLYTH, KIM NOVAK, ROBERT WAGNOR, or DICK VAN DYKE, however, there is one star among us who will be turning 103 in November. The name JACQUELINE WHITE may not ring any bells today, but for a brief time in the 1940s, she was a beautiful, talented leading lady with much promise. In fact, when she was up for the lead role of the mother in the 1946 film The Yearling, she was told by the producers that she was too beautiful to portray the simple pioneer woman. The role went to JANE WYMAN, who probably would have been none-too-pleased to know that, apparently, she was just fine playing such a plain and simple woman! But as a consolation prize, Wyman was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Actress. Join us as we pay tribute to Jacqueline White and her contribution to classic cinema. This special two-part episode brings together two very different conversations. In part one, investment manager Lawrence Lepard lays out why he believes the fiat monetary system is structurally unsustainable, what role inflation plays in that system, and how Bitcoin could be the exit ramp, not just from fiat, but from war, debt, and economic manipulation. He discusses gold, stocks, silver, the real estate market, and why he's betting heavily on Bitcoin. In part two, I speak with filmmaker James Craig, director of the new documentary Code Is Law, which traces the evolution of the phrase from a meme into a legal defense for some of the most infamous smart contract exploits in crypto. From the DAO to Indexed Finance, Mango Markets and KyberSwap, the film explores whether exploiting code is legitimate — or just theft with better PR. Thank you to our sponsor, Binance! Verdict & Sentence: James Craig Found Guilty, Gets Life for Poison Plot The jury has spoken. In a stunning end to one of Colorado's most chilling trials, former dentist James Craig has been found guilty of first-degree murder, along with five related felony charges, and has been sentenced to life without parole. In this episode, we break down every pivotal moment — the verdict read, the courtroom's emotional atmosphere, and the voting details of a jury that deliberated less than one day. Here's what you'll hear: The jury's unanimous conviction on charges ranging from murder to solicitation and perjury, with a clear rejection of Craig's suicide theory How prosecutors portrayed Craig as a calculating husband who poisoned his wife – from cyanide in protein shakes to a lethal IV dose in the hospital The defense's attempt to frame the case as one of emotional breakdown and investigate oversights, weighed against hard evidence of search histories, poison orders, and manipulation Victim impact statements that tore through the courtroom — including Craig's own daughter saying, “He'll forever be the villain in my book” The sentence itself and the full significance of a mandatory life term plus decades on additional charges This episode doesn't just replay verdict day. It examines what the outcome tells us about justice, trust, betrayal, and the power of control inside a marriage that looked perfect from the outside. Expect raw courtroom emotion, final analysis, and the lasting impact on the family left behind. Prepare for closure — but not for forgetting. #JamesCraig #AngelaCraig #JamesCraigVerdict #CraigSentencing #TrueCrimePodcast #HiddenKillers #TonyBrueski #SmoothiePoisoning #ForensicJustice #CraigTrialUpdate Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? James Craig Case: Poison, Premeditation & Prosecutorial Precision What happens when a trusted husband, a father of six, and a respected Colorado dentist is suddenly accused of killing his wife—with cyanide, eyedrops, and protein shakes? In Part 1 of this gripping two-part breakdown, defense attorney and former prosecutor Eric Faddis joins us from inside the courthouse to dissect the case the jury is still trying to wrap their heads around. The prosecution has laid out a chilling timeline: online orders for arsenic and cyanide, Google searches like “how to make murder look like a heart attack,” and hospital visits where Angela Craig mysteriously crashed—right after being alone with James. With no eyewitnesses, no surveillance video of a fatal act, and no dramatic confession, this is a case built entirely on digital footprints, emotional devastation, and one cold, calculated timeline. But is that enough? Eric Faddis walks us through the strategy unfolding in real-time—how prosecutors are methodically connecting Amazon carts, IV access ports, and digital forensics to paint a portrait of intent. He also breaks down how the defense is trying to poke holes in the chain of evidence and float the idea that Angela may have died by suicide. But with Angela's daughters testifying that their mother was optimistic and making future plans, the suicide theory may be dead on arrival. This episode sets the stage: Was this a clinical poisoning plotted by a man who wanted out of his marriage—or a tragic medical mystery that looks too neat to be true? Get the inside view from the courtroom—and decide for yourself. #JamesCraig #TrueCrimePodcast #MurderTrial #AngelaCraig #DentistMurderCase #CyanidePoisoning #CourtroomDrama #TrialAnalysis #EricFaddis #HiddenKillersPodcast Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Six Shocking Ways Dentist James Craig Tried To Cover Up His Alleged Crime Description: This is the full picture. In this extended episode, we're putting all four segments together for a comprehensive, forensic-level dive into the mind of James Craig — the Colorado dentist accused of slowly poisoning his wife with cyanide and Visine while texting “I love you” and pretending to be the concerned husband. Joined by psychotherapist Shavaun Scott, we walk through every psychological layer of this case. From his carefully maintained public image to the alleged poisoning method, the post-crime deepfake plot involving his daughter, and ultimately, the profile of a man who may have weaponized charm, control, and trust to commit the unthinkable. This isn't just about what he's accused of. It's about how he allegedly pulled it off — and what it says about the psychology behind the mask. We cover: The personality traits that may have allowed him to live a double life Why poison was likely about power, not panic The deep emotional grooming that made his post-crime behavior possible And what the public should know about spotting high-functioning predators before they escalate If you've followed this case from the beginning — or you're just hearing the headlines — this episode lays it all out. No courtroom fluff. No filler. Just the psychological blueprint behind one of the most disturbing domestic homicide cases in recent memory. #JamesCraig #AngelaCraig #PsychologicalProfile #TrueCrimePodcast #HiddenKillers #TonyBrueski #SmoothiePoisoning #ForensicPsychology #DeepfakeCoverup #NarcissisticAbuse #CraigTrialUpdate Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? What Drives a Man Like James Craig? A Forensic Psychological Profile Description: What makes someone capable of this kind of betrayal? In the final episode of our four-part series, psychotherapist Shavaun Scott helps break down the forensic-level psychological profile of James Craig — if the allegations against him are true. This is about more than cyanide and Visine. This is about the man who allegedly used charm as a mask, silence as a tool, and manipulation as a weapon. We explore traits consistent with psychopathy, narcissistic collapse, and personality disorders that thrive on control and fantasy. We also talk about how someone this calculated can hide in plain sight — in a marriage, a medical practice, a church. And what society needs to learn about the difference between likability and safety. This episode ties it all together: the behavior, the planning, the mask, the aftermath. It's the final piece in a puzzle that isn't just about murder — it's about prevention. Because understanding people like James Craig isn't just morbid curiosity. It's protection. #JamesCraig #PsychologicalProfile #TrueCrimePodcast #HiddenKillers #TonyBrueski #ForensicPsychology #NarcissisticCollapse #SmoothiePoisoning #JamesCraigTrial #PredatorPsychology Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? James Craig's Deepfake Plot: Psychological Abuse Beyond the Grave Description: You think the poisoning was bad? Let's talk about what came next. After allegedly killing his wife Angela, James Craig didn't stop. According to prosecutors, he wrote a letter from jail asking his teenage daughter to help create a fake suicide confession video — a deepfake of Angela admitting to taking her own life. It's one of the most disturbing acts of post-crime manipulation we've seen in recent years. In this episode, psychotherapist Shavaun Scott joins me to dig into the psychological abuse behind that kind of move. We're talking about emotional grooming. Family system dysfunction. And how long-term manipulation conditions people — even children — to do unthinkable things for someone they trust. We also explore what Angela's final months might have looked like under this lens. Was she being gaslit? Emotionally isolated? How does coercive control operate in “respectable” families? This isn't just about the murder. It's about the ripple effects of a sociopathic personality whose need to control didn't stop with the crime — and may have only gotten worse. This is where the emotional wreckage begins — and it's where the deeper damage lives. #JamesCraig #DeepfakeCoverup #TrueCrimePodcast #HiddenKillers #TonyBrueski #PsychologicalAbuse #CoerciveControl #JamesCraigTrial #EmotionalManipulation #AngelaCraig Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Why James Craig Allegedly Chose Poison: The Psychology of Slow Murder Description: This wasn't a murder of passion. It was a slow bleed. James Craig allegedly poisoned his wife Angela not in a fit of rage — but with surgical patience. Cyanide mixed into protein shakes. Visine added quietly to drinks. All while texting “I love you” and smiling beside her hospital bed. If true, this was murder by milligram — and that says a lot about who he really is. In this episode, psychotherapist Shavaun Scott joins me to break down why someone would choose poison as their method. What it says about control. About ego. About the kind of mind that doesn't just want to eliminate someone — but wants to do it quietly, slowly, and in total command of the narrative. We cover the psychology behind poisoning as a form of sadism, the disturbing clinical detachment it requires, and how Craig may have viewed the entire situation as a chess match rather than a marriage. We also unpack the idea of “performing grief” — how some high-functioning predators keep up the act even while the crime is unfolding. If you're trying to understand how someone could act caring while allegedly orchestrating a murder… this one's for you. #JamesCraig #AngelaCraig #PoisonMurder #SmoothiePoisoning #TrueCrimePodcast #TonyBrueski #HiddenKillers #PsychologicalSadism #JamesCraigTrial #VisinePoisoning Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? James Craig on Trial: The Poison Plot, The Mistresses & The Deepfake Cover-Up This is the full story so far—and it's more chilling than fiction. In this extended, no-holds-barred breakdown, defense attorney and former prosecutor Eric Faddis joins us from inside the courthouse to walk through everything unfolding in the trial of Colorado dentist James Craig, accused of slowly poisoning his wife Angela to death with cyanide, arsenic, and eyedrops… all while juggling secret affairs, financial ruin, and a public image of suburban perfection. But the story doesn't stop at the murder. Because according to prosecutors, Craig didn't just plan Angela's death—he kept plotting after she was gone. From jail, he allegedly tried to recruit fake witnesses, write up suicide scripts, and even asked his daughter to create a deepfake video to make it look like Angela wanted to die. One informant says he even tried to arrange a hit on the lead detective. This episode brings it all together: The forensic case: poison timelines, Google searches, Amazon orders, and chilling hospital visits The motive: mistresses, sugar babies, financial desperation, and a life Craig allegedly wanted to escape The emotional core: testimony from Angela's daughters, who say their mother was planning for the future—not planning to die The cover-up: handwritten jailhouse letters detailing fake alibis, burner phones, and character roles for imaginary friends With no smoking gun and no direct eyewitness, this case hinges on what prosecutors say is a “pattern of intent”—and what the defense insists is all circumstantial. Eric Faddis gives us the legal strategy, the courtroom temperature, and a brutally honest view of how this case is really landing with jurors. This is the full story so far—from poison to plot twists, and everything in between. #JamesCraigTrial #AngelaCraig #TrueCrimeDocumentary #MurderTrialCoverage #CyanideMurder #DeepfakeSuicidePlot #CourtroomDrama #EricFaddis #DentistMurderCase #HiddenKillersPodcast Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Lovers, Lies & Letters from Jail: Inside the Mind of James Craig In Part 2 of our deep dive into the James Craig murder trial, things get even darker—and a lot more twisted. What started as a methodical poisoning case has now turned into a psychological autopsy of a man accused of not only murdering his wife—but scripting a fake version of her suicide from a jail cell. In this episode, defense attorney and former prosecutor Eric Faddis returns to take us inside the courtroom and inside the mind of a man who allegedly couldn't stop scheming, even behind bars. We cover it all: — The emotional gut-punch of hearing James Craig's own daughter read a letter where he asked her to create a deepfake video of her dead mother — The bizarre witness-recruitment letters offering burner phones, cash, and free dental work — The sugar baby who testified Craig said he'd kill his wife if he could get away with it — The jailhouse plot to murder the lead detective on the case This isn't fiction—it's testimony. And it might be the most damning part of the prosecution's case. Why? Because Craig's alleged attempts to cover his tracks may have done more to prove guilt than the poisoning itself. We also examine how the defense is trying to survive the fallout. Is there any version of this where the jury sees Craig as panicked instead of predatory? And with no credible evidence of suicide, no real motive from Angela's side, and a defendant writing murder plots in longhand—what's left to believe? Eric gives us a boots-on-the-ground look at the emotional tone of the courtroom, how jurors are reacting, and where this trial is heading. This isn't just about what Craig may have done. It's about what he did next. #JamesCraigTrial #AngelaCraig #TrueCrimeDaily #MurderMystery #CraigTrialCoverage #JailhouseLetters #CourtroomTestimony #EricFaddis #HiddenKillersPodcast #DeepfakeMurderPlot Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? James Craig's Double Life: How a “Loving Husband” Became a Suspected Killer Description: He was a dentist. A father of six. A man of faith. But prosecutors say James Craig was also a cold, calculated killer — slowly poisoning his wife with cyanide and Visine over multiple days while pretending to be the doting husband. In this episode, I sit down with psychotherapist Shavaun Scott to unpack how someone maintains such a convincing public image while allegedly planning a murder behind closed doors. We're not just talking about charm — we're talking about full-scale emotional performance. The curated identity. The public mask. And how someone weaponizes trust so effectively that even their own family doesn't see it coming. We break down how narcissistic personalities use charm and image management to build cover, how compartmentalization works in high-functioning offenders, and what signs families and communities often miss — or ignore. If you've ever wondered how someone can live a lie this big, for this long, without cracking — this episode will walk you through exactly how it happens. #JamesCraig #AngelaCraig #TrueCrimePodcast #HiddenKillers #TonyBrueski #NarcissisticAbuse #PsychologicalProfile #SmoothiePoisoning #JamesCraigTrial #EmotionalManipulation Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Beyond Belief: James Craig's Chilling Crime, Cover-Up, and Courtroom Showdown Prepare for an immersive and chilling journey into the complete true crime saga of James Craig, a man once revered as an ideal community figure—a dedicated dentist, a loving family man, and a pillar of his church. This comprehensive episode meticulously unpacks the shocking allegations that his meticulously crafted public mask concealed a sinister, premeditated plot to end his wife Angela's life. We will delve into the profound psychological dissonance at play, exploring how Craig allegedly maintained a façade of normalcy while secretly plotting murder. This narrative transitions into the terrifying "Murder by Milligram" section, revealing the precise and insidious strategy of poisoning using cyanide and tetrahydrozoline. We'll analyze the damning forensic timeline, from online poison searches to chemical deliveries at his dental office and Angela's tragic hospital visits, questioning how Craig's medical background made the alleged acts even more egregious. The core of this section will dissect how the slow, calculated nature of poisoning strengthens the prosecution's argument for first-degree murder, and the immense challenge faced by the defense in countering such overwhelming scientific evidence. The story then takes a truly disturbing turn into the "Cover-Up" phase. We expose the astonishing accusations of Craig's post-arrest machinations, including the ethically reprehensible request to his own teenage daughter to create a deepfake video of Angela admitting suicide. This segment will explore the legal ramifications of such manipulation, examining how jailhouse letters and alleged attempts to recruit false witnesses can retroactively prove criminal intent and consciousness of guilt. The emotional toll on the victim's family, especially Craig's daughter, when pulled into such a desperate scheme, will be addressed, alongside the legal and ethical questions surrounding a defendant who treats family as mere pawns. Finally, we culminate in the intense "Courtroom Momentum," dissecting the high-stakes legal strategies employed by both prosecution and defense. We'll analyze how prosecutors meticulously thread together financial ruin, a secret affair, and image control as compelling motives, supported by digital evidence and post-crime behavior. Conversely, we'll examine the defense's uphill battle to inject reasonable doubt, often implying alternative explanations like suicide, and the pivotal considerations jurors must weigh as the case heads toward closing arguments. This comprehensive exposé reveals the full scope of James Craig's alleged deception, Angela's tragic betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of justice within the legal system. It's a complete unraveling of a dark secret that will leave you questioning the very nature of trust and human morality.
