San Diego Comic-Con delivered one of the biggest news weekends of the year, and we're digging into all of it on this week's AIPT Comics Podcast. We break down DC's latest Next Level announcements, including new ongoing series for Vixen, Static, Batman, The Demon, and Jonah Hex, react to Marvel's Predator vs. Punisher, unpack Christian Ward's newly announced Pandemonium, and even talk about Ryan Gosling's surprising Ghost Rider reveal. If it made headlines at SDCC, we're giving it the full AIPT treatment. After that, David sits down with Christian Ward to discuss Forever Home, his ambitious new Oni Press series with Sami Kivelä. Ward explains how the story grew from a simple yet unforgettable premise: a house that survives climate collapse by falling outside of time, where every 20 minutes inside equals a year in the outside world. The conversation explores the book's emotional family drama, its retro-futuristic design, climate anxiety, billionaire bunkers, and why Kivelä's storytelling elevates every page. Ward also reflects on balancing writing and art, teases what's next in his career, and shares why Forever Home is one of his most personal creator-owned projects to date. Visit our Patreon page to see the various tiers you can sign up for today to get in on the ground floor of AIPT Patreon. We hope to see you chatting with us on our Discord soon! We're about one simple thing. We help the owners of companies between $2 million and $20 million in size achieve large-scale growth of their business. We don't believe in growth for growth's sake. As far as we're concerned, a company is just a tool to support the goals of its owners and its people. We help people to grow their businesses in support of whatever those goals are. We help with marketing, sales, operations, human resources, underlying structures, management, leadership development – whatever it takes to grow. That's what we do. https://walshbusinessgrowth.com/ About Walsh Business Growth Institute. Founded in 1995 by Michael Walsh, Walsh Business Growth Institute is an international business consulting organization: We support business owners across North America and Europe to take their companies to the next level of growth. Our goal is simple – to help people get what they want, using their business as the primary tool to get them there. Whether the company wants to grow to $10 million or $100 million, what most business owners ultimately want is more profit and more freedom. We're committed to synthesizing the best practices for business growth and leadership development. We continue to invest in R&D to continually evolve best practices and strategies that help our clients meet their goals. We help you grow consistent with your goals. The biggest challenge that business owners face "The reason we look at business growth is because, at any given size, a company has strengths and limitations. If you can grow it a little bit, you can actually morph it to get what you want."

This week on the AIPT Comics Podcast, we interview cartoonist Stephanie Stalvey, diving deep into her graphic memoir Everything in Color. In the conversation, Stalvey opens up about growing up in an evangelical household, unpacking purity culture, and how motherhood reshaped her understanding of faith and identity. It's an honest, vulnerable discussion about turning lived experience into art, and why telling these stories can resonate far beyond one person's life. Darboe variant) Interview: Stephanie Stalvey, EVERYTHING IN COLOR out 04/28/2026 Your book explores growing up in an evangelical community where love and obedience were deeply intertwined. When you look back now, how do you understand that relationship differently? One of the most striking ideas in the book is the notion that “our bodies belong to the authority figure.” How did unpacking that belief shape the emotional core of this memoir? Everything in Color is deeply personal, especially in how it portrays your relationship with your husband and your child. What was it like sharing drafts with your husband as you were creating the book? Your journey raises big questions about faith, doubt, and identity. Did you find yourself arriving at answers while making the book, or is it more about learning to live with the questions? The book touches on major shared moments like 9/11 and the COVID lockdown. How did anchoring your personal story to these larger events help shape the narrative? There's a powerful shift in the book where love, especially through motherhood, reframes everything as sacred. When did that realization first begin to take hold for you? This is a massive and ambitious work. Was it always envisioned at this scale, and how long did it take you to bring it to life? The title Everything in Color feels like a mission statement for the book. At what point did you know that was the right way to describe this journey? The artwork blends intimacy with emotional weight throughout. How did you approach pairing your visual storytelling with such vulnerable subject matter?

Automate Your Real Estate Ads | Michael Walsh explores how AI is transforming real estate marketing by simplifying campaign creation, automating optimization, and reducing the constant back-and-forth of traditional agencies. In this episode, Michael Walsh explains how his AI ads agent helps investors, agents, and wholesalers build high-converting creatives, launch ads across major platforms, and optimize campaigns daily using real-time data—while still maintaining full human control. The conversation covers Google vs. Facebook strategies, lowering cost per click through smarter keyword selection, the importance of speed-to-lead, and how AI calling can qualify inbound leads without replacing the human element. For anyone hesitant about implementing AI in their marketing, this episode breaks down how to use it strategically and responsibly to scale results. _______________________________ If you want to learn how to run your business in 5 hours or less....
