Zugegeben, der Titel lässt wenig Hoffnung auf allzu viele positive News in dieser neuen Episode des SpielBar Podcasts. Aber so ist es nun einmal und in der Branche herrscht blanke Unruhe. Wenn selbst Microsoft und Take Two Studios unerwartet schließen - wer ist der nächste? Das macht wütend und sorgt für Unverständnis. Aber erstmal zum Anfang zurück. Zu Beginn sprechen wir wie immer über unsere gespielten Videospiele. Mit wir ist in dem Fall Olu gemeint, weil Marco hat einfach gar nichts gespielt. So erzählt euch der Mann aus Köln etwas zu Destiny 2, XDefiant und Slay the Spire! Während Microsoft Studios wie Arkane Austin, Alpha Dog und Tango Gameworks schließt - bzw. teilweile zu anderen Studios überführt, mit dem Perfect Dark Reboot nicht in die Gänge kommt und eventuell ein neues Gears of War nächsten Monat angekündigt werden soll - setzte sich Sony in die Nesseln, weil es die Spielenden von Helldivers 2 zwingen wollte, sich einen PSN-Account anzulegen. Es ist schon manchmal absurd wie dämlich die Anzugträger sich geben. Ubisoft hatte abermals undichte Stellen - oder ist das mittlerweile einfach Masche? Auf jeden Fall sind jede Menge Infos zu Assassin's Creed Hexe und Shadows (ehemals Red) aufgetaucht. Auch von offizieller Seite. Letzteres entzückt sogar Marco, der eigentlich gar keine große Liebesbeziehung zum Franchise hegt. In der picke packe vollen Sendung gibt's außerdem Infos zu Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, einem unzufriedenen Publisher namens Square Enix, IGN die Konkurrenz aufkaufen und einem Project Awakening, welches nach wie vor in Entwicklung sein soll.
