On Ron's Amazing Stories! In this episode, Ron reviews Louis L'Amour's novel The High Graders. We follow this with two listener stories: Keenan's time slip tale and Raygan's baffling story of synchronicity. Both are amazing! Our featured story comes from the OTR series Tales of the Texas Rangers. While not a western it is a crime drama about a bad man's poor choices. All of the stories in this series are based on true Texas Ranger case files which technically makes them True Crime! So Ron gives his thoughts on True Crime and its place in our society. Featured Story - Logger's Legacy Our featured story comes from the western series Tales Of The Texas Rangers. The series was produced and directed by Stacy Keach Sr. He hired real life Texas Ranger Captain Manuel “Lone Wolf” Gonzaullas as the show's advisor. Each show followed the same format – an announcer would describe the situation. When the problem was discovered, the Texas Rangers were called in and Jace Pearson was assigned. Our story comes from the final season of the radio show and is titled Logger's Legacy. It first aired on February 4, 1951. This one is short and chaotic much like the charter we are talking about. In this episode we see the bosun start to crumble a bit as her inexperience starts to show as well as some evolving relationships. Is this charter the end of Raygan? Or perhaps the beginning of Storm and Natalya? And do we get to find out the answer to the unsolved mystery that is Dave and Natasha? Unfortunately for us this episode was pretty unremarkable. We do see Raygan continue to be disorganized and continue to sort of let her team down. I think we just have to call this one part of the journey and hope that in the next few we see some problems get resolved and some more fun happen. Join me in this very quick rundown as we continue our journey on motor yacht Home. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/whats-on-my-tv/support
We went from an episode where almost nothing happened to running the boat in to stuff?? If this mishap doesn't cost Raygan her job we will all be shocked. We see Natasha ignore Dave pretty much the whole charter and Raygan continue to ignore her job; but the big moment happens right at the end as Raygan misjudges the distance between the boat and the dolphin causing Home to make contact as they are docking the boat. Call us fickle, but we're already pretty much over Dave and Natasha and are setting our entertainment hopes on Natalya and Storm. Captain Sandy's "I don't hit things," turned into, "That can never happen again." But did you notice what we didn't see and should have according to the trailer? What we do see that we should, is the dismissal of Raygan on the horizon. Will she get one last chance or is Sandy truly done?
The Below Deck Boys are back for a dramatic episode of Below Deck Med Season Seven. Hosts John Farley and Sean Cole breakdown this Season's fourth offering which features Sandy hitting a dolphin and ending her "perfect record" as a Captain. Dave and Natasha try to keep their relationship under wraps on Below Deck Mediterranean, but the rest of the yentas on board know something's up. Meanwhile, Raygan proves to be as good a dancer as she is a bosun.
Bravo titled this episode "A Whole Yacht of Scandal," but Adrienne and Jen have searched all over and can't find it. Maybe it was opposite day? Or perhaps a clever marketing ploy to make a filler episode seem more interesting? The ladies discuss the "aftermath" of Dave's confession and why there's only bun with this nothing burger storyline. They also deep dive into Raygan's ability to lower a bar that was already on the floor. If they don't talk about it now, they might not have a chance in the future the way things are looking. Tick tock.
The Below Deck Boys are back for a dramatic episode of Below Deck Med Season Seven. Hosts John Farley and Sean Cole breakdown this Season's third installment which features Sandy continuously scolding Raygan for the failures of the deck crew. Also, the boys discuss: Storm and Natalya's budding romance; the crew night at the club ; and Chef Dave's feud with Jason. Real Housewives of Atlanta (56:30): Shereé's sleepover is one for the record books with two very naked models, incense for the coochie, Kenya chomping on a lobster tail and Marlo going in too hard, as always. Meanwhile, Kathryn dumps Chleb over some very weird food. - Below Deck Med (1:43:40): Captain Sandy is back on a brand, new boat with totally new department heads. Secret couple Dave and Natalia are definitely not pulling off what they think they are and Raygan seems to like smoke breaks more than working. xoxo, Marcy & Jess!
Now that M/Y Home is stable again and the broken glass is swept up, the crew can focus on breaking down whether Dave and Natasha are really a couple. It was a stretch for Bravo to title this episode, "I've Got a Sea-cret," so we couldn't help but rebut them with our title. Raygan is still doing whatever it is she does when she's supposed to be bosun-ing, but Storm is showing he can pick up her slack amidst her many absences. The biggest tip in Below Deck history is leaving us a bit gobsmacked, and we're not talking about Kyle's prank.
The Below Deck Boys are back for a dramatic episode of Below Deck Med Season Seven. Hosts John Farley and Sean Cole breakdown this Season's second offering which features Chef David partially revealing a scandalous secret to the rest of the crew. Today’s episode is all about the intersection of art education, joy, and critical thought. Our guests, Raygan Barrett & Nicole Clevenger, are the co-founders of Wonderment, creators of curated art experience that help educators and parents cultivate creative thinking. But the program is about more than just art; it’s a combination of connecting to the world, connecting to each other, and learning about all aspects of life through the lens of art. Wonderment is basically a combination of Nicole and Raygan’s experiences. Nicole's background in informal education allows her to dive deep into the subject matter, play off of children's interests, and encourage learning through experience. As an artist, Raygan focuses more on exploration, thinking like an artist, and the creative process. The alchemy of these two approaches and experiences is a truly one-of-a-kind learning experience, for everyone involved. Plus, Raygan and Nicole have come up with some great ideas for how parents can bring Wonderment into their own communities this Summer. Now that it's available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, and on the eve of the release of its sequel, Laura and Raygan visit Anodyne to see if it's stood the test of time.
After a delay in recording due to Raygan's daughter being born (what a sorry excuse!) we are back with our Game of the Year episode for 2018! It's been a great year for short games,...
This episode we're checking in on the sequels to three landmark iOS games we've covered the past: Alto's Odyssey (followup to Alto's Adventure), Framed 2, and Monument Valley 2. Laura and Raygan discuss the games...

On Butterflies of Wisdom today, Best-Selling Author, Win Kelly Charles and Juan Carlos Gill welcomes Pam Drzewiecki. Pam started her business career in the insurance industry in 1987 as a pool secretary and moved through the ranks to being the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Marketing for one of the most successful practices in the company with over 1 billion dollars of insurance in force. Even though she was extremely successful, she felt a calling to do more. Through her own discovery journey, and life experiences a desire to create a business where women were nurtured was what she wanted to develop. This is why Powerful Purpose was started. I love being an advocate for professional women. My business consists of coaching 1:1, helping draw up and market small businesses owned by women, self-discovery workshops, speaking and radio. Pam guides her clients in designing a roadmap for success while learning boundaries, real desires and "why" and "how" they will get to the next level. She is currently working on finishing up her first book. It is a guide to help people grow and learn more about themselves - 30-day self-discovery inspirations. Stay tuned in the Fall to when it will be titled and published. Powerful Purpose loves giving back too. Last year I started a collection of gently used purses. I put out a call for all women who had one laying around (you know we all do) and asked them to fill it with the desired items they would find in their own purse. The drive was called “Fill the Purse for Purpose”. It started out to raise 8 purses and help one charity and it I ended up helping 4 charities with 80 purses! This is the give back part of my new company that is so important! She is also a wife to her husband, Michael and mom of 3 to Sean, Darci and Raygan. In those children, she and Michael have an amazing blended family right down to the pets, including; One dog Ziggy and two cats - Milo and Hobie. Pam’s work is truly important to her lifestyle of juggling many hats that women have to wear – creating systems around time management, goal achievement, and work life balance is truly her passion. Creating a fulfilling life for all women! We all have a story – it is our story – but helping others define their story is my mission. To lean more about Pam visit http://www.powerful-purpose.com/.
