In this episode of Monday Morning Pep Talk, I share 10 powerful insights gained from an 11-day trip to France that marked three major milestones — two graduations and 30 years of marriage. More than a vacation, it became a reset that sharpened my perspective on leadership, time, and intentional living. This is not about travel for the sake of luxury. It is about the mindset, planning, and boundaries required to step away and come back stronger.

Charlie Cole is the President of XGEN AI, a composable AI platform for eCommerce. As a seasoned eCommerce executive, he has over two decades of experience leading digital transformations for global brands. Before XGEN AI, Charlie served as the CEO at Tribute Technology and FTD and held leadership positions at Samsonite and TUMI, where he drove significant digital growth. In this episode… Online commerce search has long frustrated both brands and consumers. Whether it's typing in a detailed query and getting zero results or sifting through hundreds of irrelevant products, traditional search engines can't keep up with consumers' evolving shopping habits. As search behavior evolves and expectations rise, how can brands deliver a shopping experience that feels intuitive, personal, and helpful? According to digital executive and eCommerce operator Charlie Cole, generative AI presents unique opportunities for search personalization. These tools can understand natural language, learn from user behavior, and surface relevant results — even for complex, descriptive queries. Charlie urges companies to invest in technologies that apply AI image recognition, contextual search, and predictive merchandising. By focusing on genuine customer needs and creating frictionless, conversational experiences, brands can drive loyalty and revenue. In the latest episode of The Digital Deep Dive, Aaron Conant speaks with Charlie Cole, the President of XGEN AI, about revolutionizing eCommerce search with generative AI. Charlie discusses the future of search marketing, how to capitalize on industry events like Shoptalk, and how XGEN AI's platform powers innovative search solutions.
Jason founded ACCOMPANY to leverage the economic engine of the fashion and lifestyle industry towards positive impact for global communities in need. Jason brings with him 3 key areas of expertise – strategic image-making for global fashion retailers, leadership experience growing a small business, and a passion for applied ethics surrounding the needs of marginalized and exploited communities. Since 2006, Jason has been integral in growing YARD – a strategic image-making agency in New York – and now leads their expansion efforts as Chief Growth Officer. Jason has established and led relationships to strategically craft and design communications platforms, brand identities, multi-channel advertising campaigns and targeted retail promotions across a range of clients in fashion, retail and socially conscious lifestyles, including John Varvatos, Tumi, Kenneth Cole, Perry Ellis, Converse, Timberland, Equinox, Method, Shea Moisture and Smartwater. Simultaneously, while completing an M.S. in Global BioEthics at Columbia University, Jason published in 3 academic journals and in 2 national conferences his research on the under-acknowledged risks of low-income women and the ways in which unregulated fertility markets treat them like commodities. ACCOMPANY is Jason's merger between these disparate pursuits – the fun of growing small businesses, the reward of creating compelling lifestyle brands, and the conviction that vulnerable populations with less opportunity deserve a fair chance at prosperity.

Send us a Text Message. As a neurodiverse person too, Tumi has experienced the chaos that comes with it, struggling to be organized and often needing assistance from his wife. Tumi's neurodiversity is Dyspraxia, one of the least recognised or understood forms of neurodiversity. Interestingly, Dyspraxia is more prevalent than ADHD and Autism in the UK; however, there are close to 50 times more publications about the latter than the former. Dyspraxia is medically described as Developmental Coordination Disorder. "Dys" means difficulty while "Praxia" means Action. Hence, it means difficulty executing gross or fine motor skills. It also includes struggling with organization, time management, forgetfulness, and sleep. On the other hand, some of the strengths include creativity, empathy, and the ability to speak publicly. Audacity and confidence—how do they shape our personal and professional lives, especially for a dyspraxic man finding love in a world filled with societal expectations? Sarah and her guest unpack this topic with heartfelt anecdotes, from overcoming insecurities to the significant role of empathy and strong friendships. The discussion extends to navigating employment as a neurodivergent person, highlighting the impact of representation, mentorship, and advocacy within the Black neurodiversity community. This episode also touches on the practicalities of daily life challenges and the crucial need for systemic support, providing a comprehensive look into the world of neurodiversity and success.● Tumi's website: www.theblackdyspraxic.com● Connect with Tumi on LinkedIn (Tumi Sotire), Twitter (Tumi Sotire), and Instagram (@theblackdyspraxic)The membership also offers a full diagnostic assessment for neurodiversity from educational psychologists or Medical Doctors closely supported by the British Dyslexia Association and Lexxic. "The Below Deck" franchise on Bravo just keeps getting better and better, and this season of "Below Deck Med" was no different! Captain Sandy and the crew took us on a wild ride, filled with fights, hook ups, visa issues, doctor visits and too many drunk night outs to count! Lucky for us we have Chief Stew Tumi Mhlongo to help us review it all. While living in Cape Town, South Africa, Tumi got her big break in the yachting industry when her cultivated Instagram feed of all things "yachtie" caught the eye of Producers. Coming off of her first season on "Below Deck Down Under", where she was a superstar stew, Tumi had high expectations for her season on the Med. We talk about the lessons she learned, the hoops she had to jump through and how the drama we saw didn't compare to the drama that actually was! Tumi also gave us the low down on the yachting industry as a whole, how it works, how to get into it and what she's planning on doing next. More Dish about Mauricio and Kyle, while Lauren Manzo announces divorce. Then Angela Quintana and I enjoy smooth seas recapping BDM. The non-chaotic Orbison's bring the fun while Max seems like he's on the french chopping block. Now that Tumi and Nat are getting along we think that they will dethrone the boat gossip in the upcoming eps. No amount of smiles in Captain Sandy's pocket can help the communication between Tumi and Nat. Angela Quintana just wants the crew to have fun! But I encourage this storyline (and we know Kyle does too). Major appreciation for the female deckhands that liberally use the word "di#k" every chance they get.
