Adam breaks down the 2018 Regional Tournament assignments, and discusses how he and his committee go about placing 700+ teams into Regional sites around the country. Adam goes in-depth on the committee's process to try and make each Regional as fair as possible while also considering geography, Regional size and bid allocation, and making sure ORCS fields are even as well.
Texas Tech is gearing up to host a regional tournament against Louisville, Kent State, and New Mexico State. WIth Tech's position as the number one seed and limited starting pitching depth, we think they should probably pitch the series backwards and take advantage of playing the no. 4 seed. The basketball recruiting class should be finalized soon with three players left on the board with probably two spots left. Preston asks why Kingsbury can't seem to recruit well and we decide he just needs to win more to help that out. We actually answer listener questions in this episode, including why Tadlock started Sublette in the Big 12 tournament, what might be wrong with Davis Martin, and if we'll see that in the regional. McDonald asks how excited we are for Cavs v Warriors, round 4. Hint: not at all.
