The chain, based in Coppell, Texas, saw a pandemic-driven surge in 2020 and 2021 as homebound consumers, inspired by Marie Kondo's Netflix show, embraced decluttering. Episode 106! This was a conversation I was so excited to have with my pastor, Father Edwin Leonard, who is the pastor of St Ann Catholic Parish in Coppell, Texas. We talk about his childhood, his early faith life, and his conversion to living his life as a disciple of Jesus Christ and shepherd of one of the largest Catholic churches in the region as a Catholic priest. Followers of the show know I talk a bit about my faith and am excited to have Fr. Edwin on to discuss his story and some aspects of our Catholic faith that are often misunderstood, especially by our Protestant brothers and sisters. It's a great conversation, and I hope it provides some answers to those wondering about the Catholic church. It's incredible how destiny can affect people's lives through everyday interactions. On August 24th, 2023, Osama and Mohammed saw one of their favourite Islamic scholars outside a restaurant in Mississauga. Not only were they lucky enough to have a memorable conversation with him, but as fate would have it, they would be fortunate enough to interview him one year later on the same day. The featured guest, Sheikh Abdullah Oduro, founded Masterman and the Imam for the Islamic Center of Coppell in Dallas, Texas. His renowned work with Yaqeen Institute, where he serves as a scholar, is just one of the many facets that showcase his unique life. As a revert, his understanding of the dilemmas affecting youth serves as a bridge when discussing issues about Muslim youth in the West. Sheikh Oduro's insights regarding marriage offer a clear pathway in helping Muslim brothers and sisters set plausible goals for marriage, inshallah. His thoughts on global affairs, including the conflict in Palestine, highlight his knowledge of hardship in the Dunya. The interview encompasses a beautiful person, guest, and conversation, with a fun trivia section towards the end that further highlights the beauty of his personality, alhamdulillah.

Unsolved Mysterious Deaths [1. Jonathan Crews, 2. Lauren Agee] n Super Bowl Sunday, February 2, 2014, Jonathan Crews, a 27-year-old urgent care center director from Coppell, Texas, was killed by a bullet from his own SIG Sauer 9mm. Brenda Lazaro, his 26-year-old girlfriend, was there at the incident and claimed he shot himself in an attempt to prove his love for her. Jonathan's family claims that Lazaro shot Jonathan in a jealous rage. They wonder why Lazaro took 30 minutes to call 911 after he was shot. Jonathan's family and acquaintances describe him as a vibrant young guy who had no motive to commit suicide. Jonathan was also concerned, according to a buddy, that his new partner was a little "crazy." The case has remained unsolved. Lauren Agee was a brilliant and lovely young woman with a bright future ahead of her. Her life was cut short in July 2015 . When the young woman vanished in the night, she was trekking and camping with friends. She was there when they went to bed, and she was gone when they awoke the next morning, according to the folks she was camping with. Blunt force trauma and possible drowning were recorded as her causes of death, both of which may be explained by the police story. They said that the group was sleeping near a cliff or a drop-off, and that Agee was disoriented when he awoke in the middle of the night. They believe she roamed around in the middle of the night and died. According to the authorities, her death was nothing more than a tragic accident, and no further inquiry is necessary. There have been recent updates to the case that have allowed the family to pursue legal action. A judge has determined that Lauren's family has the right to file a wrongful death lawsuit against people who last saw her before she vanished. This means that anyone who was camping with Lauren on the night she went missing could face a wrongful death lawsuit and be held liable. Unsolved Mysterious Deaths Jonathan Crews Lauren Agee

Dr. Amy and Dr. O are certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. This modality helps the nervous system attempt to achieve its maximum potential allowing your animal to function to the best of its ability. They will utilize a series of manual adjustments in an attempt to restore normal motion to the joints of your animal's body. The science of chiropractic care has discovered throughout the last one hundred years that misalignment of joints (subluxation), especially the vertebrae, adversely alters nerve function from around those areas. Altered nerve impulses leaving the spinal column can adversely affect the function of organs and tissues supplied by that nerve. This altered function can lead to pain, disease, fatigue, muscle weakness, poor balance, immune suppression, etc. Animal chiropractic is the art, science, and philosophy that releases the body's inherent recuperative powers and allows the body to deal with the relationship between the nervous system and the spinal column and its associated structures. Remember, the power that made the body heals the body, it happens no other way.

Existentialism is a philosophy that emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent who determines their own development through acts of will. So, what is existential therapy and how can this philosophy be used to better our own lives through counseling? Join us as today's guest, Dr. Christopher S. Taylor, tells us more about this therapeutic practice and what basis it has in science. It's a practice that seems new, but has actually been around for a very long time. To learn more -- or read the transcript -- please visit the official episode page. Our guest. Christopher S. Taylor, Ph.D. LPC-S, author of My Digital Practice and host of the For Self-Examination podcast, is an adjunct professor of counseling ethics at Dallas Theological Seminary and Amberton University. Dr. Taylor utilizes existential psychotherapy to provide treatment for individuals struggling with loss of identity. In 2015, he was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve on the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors as a professional member, and was reappointed to continue serving on the board in 2021. In 2018, he was unanimously voted as vice-chair of the board. Dr. Taylor founded Taylor Counseling Group in 2015 with a mission to provide affordable, accessible, and reliable mental health services. Taylor Counseling Group was founded on five core values: Affordable Care, Transformational Change, Collaborative Growth, Community Support and Human Capital. With 9 locations in Dallas, Galleria Dallas, Coppell, Southlake, Fort Worth, Waxahachie, Houston Memorial Park, The Woodlands, and San Antonio, the affordable counseling provider has plans for rapid growth throughout Texas. Working with various state and private organizations such as Child Protective Services since 2008, Dr. Taylor has experienced the lack of community support for broken homes in both urban and rural communities. In an endeavor to alleviate this issue, Dr. Taylor served as the court coordinator and program developer for Legacy Family Court in Dallas County from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, Legacy Family Court was recognized as “An Agent of Change” by the Council on Drug and Alcohol Abuse and was awarded an official resolution by Dallas County. In 2016, the Agricultural Commissioner appointed Dr. Taylor to serve on the Rural Health Task Force to assist in developing solutions for the expansion of mental health programs in rural Texas communities. Dr. Taylor completed his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a concentration in existentialism at Texas A&M University. He continues to research and write on the subject of identity and existential development. Our host, Gabe Howard is an award-winning writer and speaker who lives with bipolar disorder. He is the author of the popular book, "Mental Illness is an Asshole and other Observations," available from Amazon; signed copies are also available directly from the author. Gabe makes his home in the suburbs of Columbus, Ohio. He lives with his supportive wife, Kendall, and a Miniature Schnauzer dog that he never wanted, but now can't imagine life without.
