Gold is trading above $5,000 an ounce. The dollar is weakening. Inflation may be heading toward 4% or higher. And government bonds are quietly being sold off by central banks worldwide. So where should investors be looking — and what does it all mean for your portfolio? In this episode of the Alternative Investing Advantage Podcast, host Alex Perny sits down with Rinaldo Brutoco, economist, attorney, entrepreneur, founder of the World Business Academy, and merchant banker with decades of experience navigating markets, geopolitics, and global finance, for a wide-ranging conversation on commodities, precious metals, crypto, monetary policy, and what he calls the most important macro forces investors need to understand right now.In this episode, you'll learn:• Why Rinaldo is still bullish on gold — and why he says the time to sell hasn't come yet• The three factors driving gold's price: inflation, political instability, and a declining dollar• Gold ETFs vs. physical gold (specie) — when each makes sense and the real trade-offs• Why all precious metals are NOT equal — gold vs. silver vs. palladium vs. platinum broken down• Why silver is more vulnerable than most investors realize (industrial demand, market cornering, X-ray elimination)• Palladium's unexpected upside as internal combustion engines make a comeback over EVs• Bitcoin vs. gold: why Rinaldo sees crypto as a gamble, not a hedge, and what stablecoins get wrongSubscribe to our YouTube channel and join our growing community for new videos every week.If you are interested in being a podcast guest speaker or have questions, contact us at Podcast@AdvantaIRA.com.Learn more about our guest, Rinaldo Brutoco:https://worldbusiness.org/team/rinaldo-s-brutoco/Learn more about Advanta IRA: https://www.AdvantaIRA.com/ https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/advanta-irahttps://www.linkedin.com/company/Advanta-IRA/https://twitter.com/AdvantaIRA https://www.facebook.com/AdvantaIRA/ https://www.instagram.com/AdvantaIRA/#Gold #PreciousMetals #Commodities #Inflation #GoldInvesting #SilverVsGold #BitcoinVsGold #MacroInvesting #SafeHaven #RinaldoBrutoco #AdvantaIRA #AlternativeInvesting #GeopoliticsAndMarkets #GoldETF #PhysicalGold #DollarDecline #CommodityHedge #Palladium #Copper #WorldBusinessAcademy

Rinaldo Rizzo told investigators and reporters that one of the most disturbing aspects of Glenn and Eva Andersson Dubin's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein involved a young Swedish girl who was brought into their household under deeply questionable circumstances. According to Rizzo, the girl was presented as a “foreign exchange” or “au pair” type figure, but her role quickly became ambiguous and unsettling. He said Epstein personally arranged for her placement in the Dubin home and remained closely involved in her movements and supervision, an arrangement that made clear she was not simply an employee or guest but part of Epstein's broader system of control over young women. Rizzo described the girl as isolated, dependent, and under Epstein's influence, with the Dubins providing the safe, respectable cover of a wealthy family household while Epstein retained access and authority. This account places the Dubin home not just in Epstein's social circle, but inside the operational machinery of how young girls were housed, concealed, and managed. What makes Rizzo's testimony especially incriminating is his assertion that the Dubins could not plausibly have been unaware of what was happening. He said the girl's presence, her youth, her lack of independence, and Epstein's continuing involvement were all obvious and impossible to miss inside the household. Yet the Dubins later insisted they had no knowledge of Epstein's trafficking or exploitation and portrayed themselves as blindsided by his crimes. Rizzo's account shreds that narrative. If Epstein was placing young foreign girls inside their home, supervising them, and maintaining control over them through the family's household structure, then ignorance becomes a legal fiction rather than a credible defense. The Swedish girl episode suggests not casual friendship but functional cooperation — the use of elite homes as staging grounds inside Epstein's trafficking network. It is one of the clearest examples of how Epstein's operation relied not only on planes and islands, but on wealthy friends willing to look away while exploitation happened under their own roof.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Send me a messageWhat if business, not politics, held the real key to ending the climate crisis? In this week's episode, I sit down with Rinaldo Brutoco, founder and CEO of the World Business Academy, to explore a radical but beautifully simple idea: that stakeholder capitalism - where companies serve people and planet, not just shareholders, can actually outperform the old profit-only model. Rinaldo's been proving it for decades, from helping shut down a dangerous nuclear plant in California to showing how responsible companies consistently beat the market. You'll hear how he believes we can replace 100% of fossil fuels in California within ten years, at lower cost than maintaining the current grid. We unpack why distributed microgrids could end blackouts and wildfires, how geothermal energy is finally having its moment, and why green hydrogen, done right, could power the next industrial era. You might be surprised by Rinaldo's blunt take on corporate inertia, his optimism about AI as a tool for truth (not hype), and his warning that business must act now or face a market collapse of its own making. This is one of those wide-ranging, perspective-shifting conversations that'll make you rethink who's really steering the energy transition, and why it has to be the private sector leading the charge.
There are many alternatives to fossil fuels, but how do we pick which one(s) to use? Rinaldo Brutoco, Founding President and CEO of the World Business Academy and H2 Clipper, Inc., joins us to discuss why he believes hydrogen is the best choice. Rinaldo explains how hydrogen works and how it's being used today. He also discusses common misconceptions about hydrogen, and why the transition away from fossil fuels could be much easier than we expect. Rinaldo Brutoco has been at the helm of the World Business Academy for over 38 years. He founded it to focus on the role that businesses should play in solving humanity's greatest challenges. The Academy promotes the responsibility of business in relation to the moral, environmental, and social concerns of the day. To spur change, and where markets are not acting fast enough, Brutoco and his non-profit have spun off for-profit businesses... taking ideas and convictions and turning them into products and services to drive change. He and Ted dig into his education and the value of his law degree, what he calls a "set of tools" that have served him well. As a young lawyer he took on the largest of the baby bell telephone companies, and won a $132 million settlement at the California State Supreme Court. But as he lamented, he lost further lawsuits in the same case, disillusioning him about the value of lawsuits and the profession of law. At the urging of Ralph Nader, he formed the California Public Interest Law Center... to highlight issues of great importance in need advocacy. He explains that his mission has been about shifting human consciousness... and allowing businesses to lead the masses, building new business paradigms, replacing old-school business school metaphors of jungles and wars... with noble professions and stewardship. The conversation digs into nuclear power, a technology that he says will never have a viable role in our clean energy future. Small nuclear modular reactors, he explains, have all the same problems as large nuclear reactors. And despite millions of dollars of investment and the government's promotion, no businesses are buying it. Instead, hydrogen is the future... providing high temperature applications for cement and steel, powering locomotives and large 18-wheelers.The current administration, he implores, is doing everything wrong. "What isn't it doing to hurt green energy?" The United States has lost its leadership in solar and wind and now in hydrogen. While the Chinese have latched on to electrification, the White House has been pushing "drill baby drill." But Rinaldo explains that oil company executives, while taking advantage of government subsidies and tax breaks, see the writing on the wall too. They do not want to drill baby drill as markets for oil are falling. Every EV driver is stripping away the value of oil, and thus major investments in its infrastructure are becoming less and less valuable. The discussion ends with a focus on the electric power grid, and how it is fast becoming obsolete. It will be replaced, Rinaldo states, with honeycombed microgrids that are resolute in tapping solar and wind and geothermal, while reducing the need for costly and inefficient transmission that tie us to fossil fuels of waning importance and value. The 100% Clean Energy Moonshot he envisions for California, has no oil or nuclear... just resources that tap the sun's infinite and free energy. This he makes clear, is where wealth will be generated. This is where businesses will lead.
Rinaldo discusses the potential impact of tariffs on the corporate sector and the need to revamp the insurance industry before it collapses.

How can business solve humanity's most significant challenges? Why is business the best vehicle to solve them? For the last 35 years, Rinaldo Brutoco has devoted himself to asking – and answering – these crucial questions. The founding president of nonprofit think (and do!) tank the World Business Academy (WBA) and founder and CEO of green hydrogen transportation firm H2 Clipper (H2C), Rinaldo is a trailblazer in both the theory and practice of sustainable business solutions. Rinaldo graduated from Santa Clara University with degrees in economics and philosophy and later received a J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 1971. His career has had many remarkable turns – pioneer in consumer law, Inc. 500 CEO, author, lecturer, and co-founder of the world's first paid cable TV company. Behind all these turns was an unshakeable conviction that business could – must – be a force for good, driving Rinaldo to found the WBA in 1987 to explore the role of business in addressing serious moral, environmental, and social issues around the world. The think tank has since been responsible for initiatives like the Optimist Daily newsletter, Safe Energy Project, Global Citizen's Club, and the New Business Paradigms podcast. As of 2011, Rinaldo has been practicing what he has preached with the launch of H2C, a firm pioneering a low cost, effective, end-to-end transport and distribution system for green hydrogen.
