The New Discourses Podcast with James Lindsay, Ep. 163 Do you know the name of the "new system" we're all being herded toward? Communism, Fascism, Communo-fascism, Technocracy... sure, yeah, all of those. But these are based on an underlying economic principle called stakeholderism. The World Economic Forum (WEF) "Stakeholder Capitalism" model from Klaus Schwab, along with the corporate ESG gobbledygook, is the most recognizable stakeholderist plan in the game, but do you know its long history and broader use? In this groundbreaking and controversial episode of the New Discourses Podcast, host James Lindsay explains how the first true Stakeholder economy was instituted in Nazi Germany in 1937 with the passage of a National Socialist Shareholder Law, and that both the Woke Left and New Right (or Woke Right) champion that same model today, alongside the WEF, UN, Club of Rome, CCP, and all the rest. In this compelling episode of The Courtenay Turner Podcast, Courtenay invites investigative filmmaker and tech entrepreneur Richard Jeffs to delve into the controversial topic of Stakeholder Capitalism. The tongue-in-cheek title evokes the imagery of driving a wooden stake into the heart of a vampire, symbolizing Jeffs' critique of the World Economic Forum's (WEF) push for this new global political system. Richard Jeffs, founder of the media platform Yellow Forum and renowned filmmaker in the freedom genre, brings his expertise and passion to the conversation. His latest investigative documentary series, Stakeholder Capitalism, explores the undemocratic transition to a global authoritarian system spearheaded by Klaus Schwab and the WEF. Jeffs exposes how this initiative, enacted under "The Great Reset," is reshaping economies, societies, and governance without public consent.

View our films and articles to learn what Stakeholder Capitalism is and how, since 2020 (when it was enacted), it's been driving the rise in strange societal and global events. To summarise, Stakeholder Capitalism is the brainchild of Klaus Schwab, the Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF). The WEF's exclusive members, called Stakeholders, include the heads of all G20 countries, multinational NGOs and most fortune 500 companies. President Donald Trump appointed Andy Puzder ambassador to the European Union this past week. But before he heads to Brussels, Puzder is warning about the left-wing scourge of stakeholder capitalism. As the former chief executive of CKE Restaurants, a major fast food corporation operating Carl's Jr. and Hardee's, Puzder knows what it takes to run a successful business. That's why he's so alarmed at the trends he's witnessing in corporate America. He spoke to The Daily Signal about his new book, “A Tyranny for the Good of its Victims: The Ugly Truth about Stakeholder Capitalism.” In this episode, we cover: • How BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street accumulated unprecedented control over U.S. corporations • The real meaning behind ESG policies and their impact on American business • Why major brands are adopting policies that seem to conflict with their customer base • The effectiveness of consumer boycotts against woke corporate policies • Capitalism's historic role in reducing global poverty Purchase your copy of “A Tyranny for the Good of Its Victims” on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4ayJ1gZ Keep Up With The Daily Signal Sign up for our email newsletters: https://www.dailysignal.com/email Subscribe to our other shows: The Tony Kinnett Cast: https://www.dailysignal.com/the-tony-kinnett-cast Problematic Women: https://www.dailysignal.com/problematic-women The Signal Sitdown: https://www.dailysignal.com/the-signal-sitdown Follow The Daily Signal: X: https://x.com/DailySignal Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedailysignal/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheDailySignalNews/ Truth Social: https://truthsocial.com/@DailySignal YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/DailySignal Rumble: https://rumble.com/c/TheDailySignal Thanks for making The Daily Signal Podcast your trusted source for the day's top news. Also known as technocracy, it is dangerous because it merges the private and public sectors into an unstoppable, globalist machine. The ideological war between capitalism and communism is outdated, silly and, more often than not, people don't even know what these terms mean. For example, what if I told you China's economy is more capitalist than America's? Would you believe me?My point is that political and economic systems are complex and can't be neatly categorised. Binary formulas don't exist; it's not as simple as 'America is capitalist, China is communist'.Iain Davis has written extensively about stakeholder capitalism (technocracy) and why its dangerous.
Why are companies like Disney so intent on pushing the transgender agenda? The answer lies with a small, influential group of financial elites who have hijacked American institutions to impose harmful woke policies like ESG and DEI. But here's the good news: Americans are fighting back, rejecting these radical and unjust initiatives. Andy Puzder, former CEO of Hardee's and Carl's Jr. joins The Kevin Roberts Show to expose the dangers of stakeholder capitalism and its impact on our nation. About Andy: Andrew Puzder, former Chief Executive of CKE Restaurants and economic expert, is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow for business and economic freedom at The Heritage Foundation. Puzder began his career as a commercial trial lawyer in St. Louis in 1978 and later served as the personal attorney for entrepreneur Carl Karcher. He went on to become CEO of the well-known fast food powerhouses Carl's Jr. and Hardee's chains in 2000, expanding to 3,800 locations and leading the company out of serious financial difficulties. He has authored several books, including Job Creation: How It Really Works and Why Government Doesn't Understand It; The Capitalist Comeback: The Trump Boom and the Left's Plot to Stop It; Getting America Back to Work; It's Time to Let America Work Again; and A Tyranny for the Good of its Victims: The Ugly Truth about Stakeholder Capitalism. Earlier in his career, Mr. Puzder was a commercial trial lawyer in St. Louis. He authored legislation in Missouri—acknowledging that life begins at conception and granting unborn children rights in contexts other than abortion (such as criminal, tort, and inheritance laws)—which the U.S. Supreme Court upheld in Webster v. Reproductive Health Services in 1989.

ABOUT THIS CONVERSATION: In this fascinating conversation with Richard Jeffs, we took a closer look at Stakeholder Capitalism, a supposedly modern economic model replacing shareholder capitalism in the West and state capitalism in the East. The rapid emergence of issues like the Trans agenda, the growth of movements like Black Lives Matter, and the all-encompassing presence of Climate Change narratives in modern discourse may seem disconnected at first glance. However, Richard and I would argue they are part of a much bigger plan to implement Stakeholder Capitalism, a rebranded economic and social system which in essence is Communism 2.0. As a democrat, I wonder why there is so much censorship of true information? Why did Congressman Adam Schiff censor my nutrition documentary? Why HHS puts out a memo that people who make the government look bad are considered domestic terrorists, why the government was advertising requesting folks to apply for federal positions to round up people for camps and for federal employees to manage these camps. What is this all about ? Why are there two divided groups in the United States who ferociously believe that the other group is destroying democracy? How can this divide be healed? What is behind this division? Is there something more sinister afoot? Is this a step towards a new economic system?

The elites have been telling us for years now that we need a "New World Order", a system of "Stakeholder Capitalism" a social structure with more "Equity". None of these descriptions sound overly ominous, in fact, the elites go out of the way to make it sound efficient, convenient and good for the common man. Linking these ideas with the technology sector where creations like; CBDCs, Facial Recognition, Digital ID, it starts to cross over into the area of potential tyranny. Governments don't have a good track record for using technology advancement for the benefit of mankind. They normally use it to extend their power and control over their own citizens, as well as the citizens in other countries. The New Discourses Podcast with James Lindsay, Episode 135 Stakeholder Capitalism is a scam. Though not particularly well-known outside of certain business circles, it is the model associated with Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum. Its basic form is this: the purpose of the company itself has to change, not to serve customers and generate profit for shareholders but instead to "serve all stakeholders." Its mechanism is also unsurprising: ESG, Environmental, Social, and Governance scoring metrics for corporations. Unsurprisingly, its implementation is shockingly corrupt and filled with Marxist distortions. In this episode of the New Discourses Podcast, host James Lindsay goes through a short September 2020 Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance document (https://corpgov.law.harvard.edu/2020/09/14/the-stakeholder-model-and-esg/) about corporate incentives packages for ESG and the stakeholder model together with and a crucial portion of Klaus Schwab's 2022 book, The Great Narrative for a Better Future (https://amzn.to/3UyCmgX), to make clear just how corrupt and dangerous the ESG agenda and stakeholder capitalism truly are. "I believe that State Capitalism in the short term provides certain advantages because you can mobilize in a concentrated way a lot of resources to reach a specific objective. I believe the future is not State Capitalism or Shareholder [private] Capitalism, the future is what I call Stakeholder Capitalism which is capitalism combined with social responsibility." -- Klaus Schwab Klaus Schwab wants the world to participate in solving our problems and he has a few rules to make sure it's done right. And that means the pesky individuals who believe in free association and free markets must set aside those values and get on board with Stakeholders. And since individuals do not understand the importance of the "stakes" Klaus will seek people capable of solving these very technical problems. We will call them Technocrats; George Soros, Bill Gates, John Kerry are a few worthy leaders who are technically proficient in solving all of these problems. So you should feel a relief. Klaus has the plan and he calls it Stakeholder Capitalism. I used my pocket Thesaurus to find a synonym for his term and Productive Socialism came up! Wow! how silly of us. I read about that throughout history and it never ends well-- millions of people dying through the State, oops I mean Stakeholders... Anyhooo, they have it figured out now and all it took was rebranding! Stakeholder Capitalism-- This time it's different. Coming to a city near you.

In this episode, Doug interviews Adam Goodman— the third generation CEO of Goodmans Interior Structures. The Black Lives Matter movement deeply affected Adam and spurred him to confront systemic racism within his own company. Goodman gives you his game plan on confronting systemic racism inside his company and it comes with a heavy dose of self vulnerability and a heaping side of courage. He uncovered bias in areas like promotions and "occupational sorting," and how he's working to develop individualized growth paths to retain diverse high-potential employees.Goodman proposes and interesting idea—properly-executed capitalism can help solve societal issues. One example of this is Goodman is engaging his company's surplus resources for community benefit. When Goodman originally brought these ideas to the table, some employees doubted the concept, but this only fueled his commitment to authentically lead with purpose. Goodman emphasizes the power of vulnerable, heart-centered leadership to build trust and reduce stress.Check out the article Doug mentioned.Learn more about Adam Goodman.Click here to get your FREE copy of the Imagine a Place journalFollow Imagine a Place on LinkedIn
Joining us today is Mike McFall, the Co-Founder/Co-CEO of BIGGBY Coffee. Mike's story is truly fascinating: in 1995, he and his friend decided to make a coffee chain, and their simple agreement has blossomed into one of America's largest coffee chains, a franchise operation with over 350 locations. It's clear that Mike is an “entrepreneur's entrepreneur”, and in this episode, he tells me something I'm truly envious of: that he doesn't suffer from crippling anxiety at 3am and rather has an innate sense that everything will always work out. I'm sure you're just like that. No? Must be nice, right? Well, even though his path has been slow and steady, everything has appeared to work out for this remarkable human, and he's documenting his unique, human-forward approach to business in a series of books. I know I'm about to get schooled in this conversation, and if you and a buddy ever thought about building something cool, you are too. ➡️ https://www.biggby.com/ ➡️ Highlights: https://rosspalmer.com/mike-mcfall ➡️ Follow me on Instagram: @therosspalmer ➡️ Subscribe on YouTube: @therosspalmer
Stakeholder capitalism promises a more ethical and egalitarian-oriented capitalism, but it places capitalism in the grip of social justice ideology and, ultimately, reduces corporations to state-directed entities. In this episode, Jeremy Kidd and George Mocsary, authors of a recent Heritage Report on stakeholder capitalism, discuss the movement's philosophy and objectives.
In this episode, Vivek Ramaswamy invites Father Robert Sirico for an engaging conversation about the intersections of capitalism, virtue, and religion. Father Sirico, co-founder of the Acton Institute and author of "The Economics of the Parables," sheds light on his personal journey from left-wing activism to priesthood. The duo dissect the relationship between capitalism and virtue, the concept of stakeholder capitalism, the involvement of politics in religion, and the importance of moral restraint. The conversation later pivots to discuss the compelling story of Jimmy Lai, a Hong Kong pro-democracy activist, and the implications of his struggle for freedom. This episode serves as a profound exploration of morality's role in economics and the political sphere. Guest Bio: Father Robert Sirico is a renowned priest and co-founder of the Acton Institute. What is stakeholder capitalism and why should you care about it? If the work that you're doing doesn't help you sleep better at night, there just might be some room for improvement in your efforts in stakeholder capitalism. Kent Gregoire is a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder of Stakeholder Business. He is on a mission to help entrepreneurs transform their companies for maximum impact. In his consultancy work, he is known as the “CEO to CEOs” who focuses on a win-win approach that delivers exponential value to all stakeholders. Kent's efforts over the years have evolved from conscious capitalism into stakeholder capitalism, which focuses on building a socially and environmentally sustainable world. When companies begin to create value and optimize that value for their stakeholders — not just their shareholders — they become stronger, more resilient, and more profitable. Stakeholders are a 360-degree group, including the customers, investors, employees, community, environment, suppliers, business partners, and more. Every one of these has an impact on a business. And companies that consider the role of each of these players are shown to be more resilient and more profitable. Kent highlights the realities of stakeholder capitalism in the coffee industry, and how strategic moves can benefit not only the company but its stakeholders as well. Kent details the success of Interface, a carpet company that has successfully maximized stakeholder capitalism and changed the carpet industry worldwide. Bill shares ways that he has intentionally increased customer connections and Kent highlights the efforts that have solved major challenges with suppliers and securing even more business, all with a greater focus on becoming a stakeholder business. In this episode of Psychedelics Weekly, Joe and temporary-Colorado-resident Kyle once again record in-person, discussing how psychedelics could change business, the drug war and safe supply, and more. They cover: -a Rolling Stone profile on David Bronner, who makes the case for multi-stakeholder capitalism; where businesses are accountable to their workers, customers, the environment, and surrounding Indigenous communities instead of just investors – an idea more people would likely align with after a psychedelic experience; -The first psilocybin service center in Oregon (EPIC Healing Eugene) finally receiving their license via the Oregon Health Authority; -A man who saw his color blindness improve for four months after a 5g mushroom experience; -Delaware officially legalizing recreational cannabis; -The opening of 'The Drugs Store' in Vancouver, British Columbia: a mobile store selling drugs illegally as a response to the opioid epidemic and constant influx of untested and laced drugs – the "inevitable result of the government doing nothing" towards offering a safe supply; -and a survey from the CDC showing that cannabis use among teenagers has declined since legal dispensaries began opening, disproving one of the most common prohibitionist arguments that legalization would only increase use. And of course, these topics bring on a lot of conversation: how businesses need to be more reflective on how they're operating; concern over if too much regulation is nerfing the world; the human cost of the drug war and the ever-escalating amount of ODs and drug poisoning cases; HPPD and the need for research around psychedelics and vision/perception; why we will always need both clinical access and the recreational underground, and more. www.psychedelicstoday.com
Capitalism is changing from shareholder capitalism to stakeholder capitalism. The New Discourses Podcast with James Lindsay, Episode 109 In 1844, Karl Marx explained that Communism, "as the positive transcendence of private property as human self-estrangement" is "the riddle of history solved, and it knows itself to be this solution. In 2016, 172 years later, Klaus Schwab's World Economic Forum put forth a bold future-casting video proclaiming that by the year 2030 "you will own nothing, and you will be happy." These, of course, are the same assertion. Flashing back, in 1964, in the book 'One-dimensional Man' (https://amzn.to/3HekQ9w), Herbert Marcuse explained that to move forward with the Marxist project, socialism had to figure out how to become productive without abandoning its core values and capitalism had to be reined in to curb its inherent unsustainability. That is, Marcuse reframed the riddle of history and pointed in the direction of a way to solve it. This year, in 2023, just weeks ago in an interview resulting from the Davos meeting (https://bit.ly/3RNDF8m), Klaus Schwab articulated his vision for this solution: state capitalism on the one hand and shareholder capitalism on the other have to be reconsidered into a new model he calls "stakeholder capitalism" that incorporates certain aspects of "social responsibility." Yet again, these are the same assertion. In this episode of the New Discourses Podcast, host James Lindsay explains these ideas in unprecedented depth, reading through and building off an essay he wrote for New Discourses on this very subject last October: "The Riddle of History, Solved" (https://newdiscourses.com/2022/10/riddle-of-history-solved). Join him to understand what "stakeholder capitalism" really is in terms of "productive socialism" and capitalism reframed in terms of the "sustainability" agenda. In a letter to Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned, “[f]ailure to meet the government's obligations would cause irreparable harm to the U.S. economy, the livelihoods of all Americans, and global financial stability.” Meanwhile, Congressman James Comer (R-TN) told Jake Tapper that “our national debt is one of the biggest threats to our national security.” So, who is right? Dr. Antoni breaks it all down. During the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, former Vice President Al Gore stated that we aren't doing enough to combat climate change and, consequently, we are “boiling the ocean.” PLUS Rich and Matt obtain exclusive audio from the elites in Davos… In an interview from October 2022, Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab stated that the “future” is a global economy that embraces “stakeholder capitalism.” In fact, Schwab wrote the book on stakeholder capitalism: “Stakeholder Capitalism: A Global Economy the Works for Progress, People and Planet.” A man on social media discovers it will take 5-days to charge his brand-new Hummer EV… President Joe Biden ordered a cheeseburger for lunch—and The Washington Post wants you to know all about it.
