One of the Star Wars spin-off stories, ANDOR, is not for the young. It is for the adults and is more of what Star Wars is supposed to be - rebels fighting Space Nazis. The woke Star Wars writers and the constant use of "Nazi" to describe people we don't like is a reason this has happened. When we do this, we forget who the real agents of tyranny are. This says a lot when a story that has shaped our culture turns on its head and is now somehow divided in favor of a fascist, albeit fictional, government. Yes, America can be seen as "A Star Wars Story," a revelation of the method in times where we forget how easy it is to tolerate the acts of global killers just because they wear the right suit or tie. It has everything from a smart-assed droid to a non-Jedi blind guy. A couple of CGI cameos and misplaced droids brings it down, but just like the Death Star nothing's perfect. The prequel that nobody asked for delivers the hope for the Star Wars universe that we all need.

The biggest story in Star Wars in 2024 was the story of The Acolyte. It was the highest profile content Lucasfilm released, but it was so much more than that.
