The Bad Batch is sandwiched in between a LOT of official canon Star Wars content. It seems that sometimes this limits what can be done with the stories and the legacy characters in that timeline. We asked Lucas and Pete if they thing that Canon hurts #TheBadBatch? BONUS: Both Pete and Lucas are AMAZING players of "the bass." We discuss the coolest moment each have had playing bass.Check Out Streaming Star Wars: https://www.atgcast.com/Have Fun With The Reverend and the Reprobate: https://revandrep.com/
We were pretty shocked when we found out that #TheBadBatch were heading to Count Dooku's palace and Serreno. And watching these episodes made it more clear to me that there are a LOT of similarities between Darth Tyrannus and Darth Vader. We wanted to get Pete and Lucas' opinions on this. BONUS: Both Pete and Lucas are AMAZING players of "the bass." I ask them both who their favorite bass player is.Check Out Streaming Star Wars: https://www.atgcast.com/Have Fun With The Reverend and the Reprobate: https://revandrep.com/
In Episodes 1 & 2 of Season 2 of #thebadbatch here is a sharp disagreement between how the squad should move forward after the events of Kamino. Hunter wants to continue to lay low, do some jobs to make money, and hide from the Empire. But Echo sees this as unjust and he keeps trying to convince Hunter to get into the fight. The fulcrum for all of this seems to center on keeping Omega safe. I asked Lucas and Pete who's right: Hunter or Echo?Join "The Dad" as he gets some real opinions from two of our favorite #StarWars #podcast hosts: Pete Fletzer from@StreamingStarWars and Lucas Pinckard from @RevRepPodcast!BONUS: Both Pete and Lucas are AMAZING players of "the bass." Today's episode is a conversation about Season 1 of #TheBadBatch and a little responsible speculation about Season 2. Of course, by now, the first two episodes of Season 2 have been released. I'll save my initial spoiler free thoughts on those until after the segment. Enjoy!
Today's episode is a little different. Sam is really excited about the new Netflix show Kaleidoscope starring Ginacarlo Esposito. He'll explain why! We've gotten the chance to watch a couple of episodes of Kaleidoscope since our recording a couple of days ago. So far, it's really good. We started with the first episode listed in the season and then decided to change it up and pick another randomly. We we're a little floored by how well they worked together. It was almost like the second episode we watched perfectly answered the questions we had from the first we watched. It was a little creepy. I'm sure we'll watch another episode as soon as we can. Learn more about the show and see our complete library at www.tatooinesons.com!

Today's episode is our conversation about that riveting address given by Kino Loy in Episode 10 of Andor, along with our patented “Dad Moment” from this week's show. Before Andor hit our TV's it was suggested by SOME that there weren't any “easter eggs” in the series. Tony Gilroy hit back and explained that there were plenty, but that they were the kind you had to actually be paying attention to see them. There are so many in this series. But my favorite might be in this speech when Kino Loy repeats Cassian's words verbatim in the same way Jyn Erso did in Rogue One. Thanks for checking out this short segment from our full Tatooine Sons episode this week. If you missed any of the other segments on this week's show, you can find those in our podcast feed and of course you can hear even more like our “Is It Canon?” and “Movie Moments” segments on the full episode that released earlier in the week.
Today's episode is the discussion that Samuel the Hutt led about Shuri's faith journey in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It's a pretty classic Tatooine Sons take on the subject and one you probably won't hear anywhere else.We start every full episode explaining that pop culture in the mythology of this generation that speaks to something written on our souls. Shuri's story in Wakanda Forever is a perfect example of this. All of us have been touched by the death of someone we love. And it's so hard to go through. And lots of times it causes us to question everything we believe in and even lose ourselves in the process. This film hits even harder because everyone involved was dealing with this in a real world way because of the loss of Chadwick Boseman. Thanks for checking out this short segment from our full Tatooine Sons episode this week. I really do hope you check out the rest of the episode where we discuss Kino Loy's powerful speech from Andor Episode 10: “One Way Out,” and the legacy of Kevin Conroy as Batman.
