Unlocking success on Facebook goes beyond the simple act of launching an ad campaign and hoping for sales to flood in. It's an art. A magic that only a few Facebook advertising wizards know how to truly unlock.Vincent Nguyen is one of those wizards. As the founder of Growth Ninja, Vincent manages a solo-run, multi-six-figure Facebook ads agency. He works his magic on a carefully selected group of clients, having breathed life back into three seemingly doomed multi-million dollar ad campaigns in just the past few months alone. In this episode, Vincent joins us to reveal the secrets to crafting Facebook ads that can catapult your business to new heights. He shares some interesting case studies from his client, busts common advertising myths, and breaks down the anatomy of a successful Facebook advertising campaign. He also explains the rookie mistakes that many people make when setting up their campaigns. According to Vincent, “Step one when setting up your Facebook ads is to set up some sort of attribution system because Facebook ads reporting is not very accurate. If you can't trust your data, then you shouldn't spend money at all. That's just throwing money away and you're going to scale things that shouldn't be scaled.” If transforming your Facebook ads from average to utterly ad-dictive is your goal, then every moment of this episode is a must-listen! Topics Discussed in This Episode: Vincent's background and how he grew his own Facebook Ad agency (01:56) How Vincent successfully revived and scaled a million-dollar ad campaign (07:17)  The anatomy of a high-converting sales page (13:55) Why Vincent is selective about his clients as a solopreneur (17:32) Vincent's go-to formula for ad campaign success (29:30) Adding the right images, copy, and create elements to ad campaigns (35:38) Common Facebook Ad myths that people still fall for (45:11) Vincent's winning bidding strategies (56:01) Why this metric is the most important measurement of your success  (57:42) Vincent's predictions for the future of Facebook advertising (1:05:33) Mentions: Empire Flippers Podcasts Empire Flippers Marketplace Create an Empire Flippers account Subscribe to our weekly newsletter  Growth Ninja Sit back, grab a coffee, and learn how to create Facebook ads that actually convert!

Today on the podcast I am joined by Vincent Nguyen the founder and CEO of Growth Ninja, an agency focused on helping B2C companies with their Facebook campaigns. As you may have noticed from the title of this episode, this interview is not like most of the other ones we've had on the show and the reason for that is that after building up Growth Ninja into a multi 6 figure business Vince realized that he was not happy with what he was doing and decided to quit the location independent entrepreneur life and instead move back home and pursue his dream of becoming a bartender. During our interview, we talked about how he discovered the online business world and how he landed his first remote job with Empire Flippers, how he built up his online business in a few short years, and why after doing all of that and finding the success that many dream of, he decided that a life as a bartender was what he really wanted to pursue. I am so happy to have had Vince on the show because I think a lot of the content online about the location independent scene makes it seem like this should be everyone's dream and goal and that's simply not true and I think that that's something we need to talk about more.

“If you can get into a job that has a really small team where you can work closely with the founders, you learn at a much more accelerated rate than if you were working in a much larger company dealing with managers.” In this episode of Nat Chat, I’m joined by Vincent Nguyen. Early into his college career, he already knew that the traditional college path wasn’t for him. He started a blog on the side called Self Stairway and over the course of seven months, he began posting on publications, connecting with influencers, and eventually got the opportunity to take on an apprenticeship with the company Empire Flippers. He took the apprenticeship, dropped out of college, and moved to the Philippines. After six months of working with them, he was promoted to be their marketing director and after a while, he branched off to start his own company, Growth Ninja. He’s been doing that for over two years now and helps sites grow through Facebook advertising. Vincent’s a good example of the great opportunities that you can gain from getting an apprenticeship, as well as showing that you don’t necessarily need a degree to be successful. We cover a wide range of topics, including: The multiple opportunities that an apprenticeship or blog can present you Disregarding college and self-educating yourself Resources for others looking to easily get an apprenticeship Advice for others looking to get into entrepreneurial pursuits The parental concern towards those choosing to not go to college Vincent’s journey from being an apprentice to becoming a marketing director And much more. Dan and Ian are certainly familiar with these feelings, and today's guest is no stranger to them either. Vincent Nguyen is the founder of Growth Ninja, a performance-based Facebook ads company. You may remember Vincent from an episode we published a few years ago about apprenticeships. Vincent has definitely paid his dues in the world of entrepreneurship, having apprenticed with Empire Flippers before starting Growth Ninja in 2015, all the while hiding the fact that he dropped out of college from his immediate family. This episode is a conversation about the tough decisions that many entrepreneurs are forced to make, what it means to sacrifice relationships, and what it really takes to get started in the world of entrepreneurship.

Hi listeners, today Vincent Nguyen the founder of Growth Ninja joins our show. Growth Ninja is a company that brings your business leads and sales from Facebook ads. The difference between Growth Ninja and every other Facebook ad company is that they are paid based on performance. So if they don't deliver results, they don't get paid. On the show today we have a great conversation with Vincent. What I specifically enjoyed about him is that he is a young entrepreneur just starting out with an incredibly mature mindset. I can respect any entrepreneur that wants to be paid based on their own performance. Vincent it doing just that, and doing it very well. Further along in the show, Vincent and I discuss the process of getting comfortable being paid well by our clients, quitting your job to start a business and we also touch on how he prefers to work solo over having employees. 02:34: Who is Vincent Nguyen? 08:52: Is it Smart to Quit Your Job and Start a Business? 11:47: What is Growth Ninja? 15:15: When Someone Pays You For the First Time 20:20: What's Working in Facebook-Land and is Retargeting on FB a Good Idea for You? http://www.tropicalmba.com/apprentice/ One of the most frustrating parts of the entrepreneurial life script is that when you first hear about it and understand the benefits, you probably aren't ready to start a business. You know the answer is starting a business, but you aren't quite sure how to get there yet. We have long been advocates for seeking out an apprenticeship, but it's not always that easy. How do you get an apprenticeship, where do you go when you find one and what happens after you get one? Over the last couple of years, Vincent Nguyen from GrowthNinja.com has gone through all of these stages himself. I've invited him on to the show to talk about his experiences as an apprentice at Empire Flippers and how he has managed to transition from being a successful apprentice into owning his own business.
