Listeners of Scriptures and Stories that love the show mention:The Scriptures and Stories podcast, hosted by Rashawn Copeland, is truly life-changing. This podcast has had a profound impact on my faith journey and I am grateful for Rashawn's heart to share Jesus in grace and truth. The real-life testimonies shared on this podcast are incredibly powerful and inspiring. It is evident that Rashawn has a genuine passion for spreading God's love and his dedication to providing a platform for individuals to share their stories is commendable. The podcast is filled with encouragement, wisdom, and relatable conversations that will uplift your spirit and help you grow closer to God.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the authenticity of the guests' testimonies. Each episode features ordinary people sharing their personal experiences and how God has worked in their lives. These stories are relatable and offer hope to anyone who may be struggling or in need of encouragement. Rashawn does an excellent job of guiding these conversations with thought-provoking questions that bring out even deeper insights from the guests. The genuine connection between Rashawn and his guests creates a safe space for vulnerability, fostering an atmosphere of trust where listeners can feel understood and inspired.
Another great aspect of this podcast is the way Rashawn combines grace and truth when sharing God's word. This balanced approach helps create an environment where listeners can grow spiritually without feeling overwhelmed or discouraged.
In terms of drawbacks, it is difficult to find any major faults with this podcast. However, one minor aspect that could be improved upon is the frequency of episodes. As a listener who enjoys every episode immensely, I often find myself eagerly awaiting new content from The Scriptures and Stories podcast. While understandable given the time it takes to produce high-quality episodes, having more frequent releases would be even more beneficial for listeners who crave consistent spiritual nourishment.

Sometimes it's in our deepest pain that we hear God the loudest. He may seem quiet in our comfort, but in our heartbreak, confusion, and suffering — He's not whispering… He's screaming. Not in anger, but in invitation. An invitation to come closer. To surrender. To trust. To discover that even pain has purpose in His hands. [Intro Hook – 0:00–0:15] Rashawn (looking straight into camera): If you feel called to lead your family better—but you're overwhelmed, unsure, or even discouraged—I've got 3 words of advice that could change everything. Let's talk. ⸻ [Word 1 – PRESENCE – 0:15–0:45] Rashawn: The first word is Presence. Your family doesn't need a perfect leader—they need a present one. Put the phone down. Look them in the eyes. Pray with your kids. Listen to your spouse. Being there is more powerful than saying all the right things. ⸻ [Word 2 – CONSISTENCY – 0:45–1:15] Rashawn: The second word is Consistency. Leadership isn't about grand gestures—it's about showing up every day. Small habits, repeated in love, create big impact over time. Lead devotions, speak life, say “I love you,” and do it again tomorrow. Your consistency builds their confidence. ⸻ [Word 3 – GRACE – 1:15–1:45] Rashawn: The third word is Grace. You're going to mess up. We all do. But grace says: “Keep going.” Lead with humility. Apologize when needed. And remember—God's grace covers you as you lead your home. ⸻ [Outro – 1:45–2:00] Rashawn: So if you feel called to lead your family—start with presence, consistency, and grace. You've got this. And more importantly—God's got you. Drop a “I'm in” below if you're ready to step up.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/faith-and-familia--3287906/support.
Have you ever felt like every door is closing… like nothing's working out no matter how hard you try? That might not be failure—it might be God. In this episode, Rashawn unpacks the idea that God will exhaust our options—not to punish us, but to position us. When your plans fall apart, His purpose can finally take center stage. This is your reminder that God meets you at the end of yourself, and that's where real transformation begins.

Sharing testimonies of God's faithfulness in our family and inviting others in the family of God to share theirs
The goodness of God is overwhelmingly evident in our lives, rather we admit it or not. The Bible says His goodness leads us to repentance and a closer relationship with Him. His love is unconditional, and He desires us to draw near Him. However, there are times when we may feel that it is best to stay far away from His love. We tend to pursue things that look good but at the end of the day, aren't good in the long run for us! Today who are you pursuing? What are you pursuing? How can you ask God for help? The Bible tells us that God is good and His mercy endures forever. We are told to “draw near to God, and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8). His love is available to you today — & He longs to know You more. We can be sure that He will never leave or forsake us, no matter what we have done.Sometimes, we may feel it is best to stay far away from God's love. Due to our sin, shame, and struggles. We may feel that we are too sinful or unworthy of His love. But the truth is that God's love is unconditional, and He desires us to draw near Him.Books:Set Apart: Stop Comparing, Own Your Giftedness, and Rest in Jesus" https://www.amazon.com/Set-Apart-Comparing-Giftedness-Jesus/dp/1540901025Start Where You Are "How God meets you in your mess, loves you through it, and leads you out of it" : https://www.amazon.com/Start-Where-You-Are-through/dp/1540900118If you'd like to support our ministry financially and assist us in reaching more people partner with us here paypal.me/copelandministries or cash app: $copelandministriesWatch this episode on Youtube here: https://www.Youtube.com/feyfamiliaSocialhttps://www.Instagram.com/ricanxo_https://www.instagram.com/rashcopeland https://www.Facebook.com/imsoblesseddailyofficial
Today's episode will touch your heart, not because of anything we say, but because of what God promises! Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.— Romans 5:3-5Let's ask God to help us to form our character and conform us to Christ!!! God has forgiven us in Christ. Be tenderhearted and forgiving just as God in Christ forgave you (Ephesians 4:32). What God did in Christ is powerful. It makes change possible. The command to be tenderhearted has more to do with what God did for you than what your mother or your father did to you — and any other person on the face of the planet. This kind of command means you can change. The holiday season can be a difficult time for many people. For those who have experienced a lack of peace, conflict, and messy family dynamics, this time of year can be especially hard. It can be difficult to find joy and peace during this season when so much of it seems to be focused on family and togetherness. How can we feel so disconnected and lonely in a room full of family? We can take comfort in knowing that God is with us and that He will bring us peace and joy, no matter our circumstances. The holiday season can be a time of joy and peace, but it can also be a lonely and challenging season. Do you long to go to bed at night knowing you've done the best you could with what you have as a parent and made a difference in your family life--even if you can't see it yet? Your children depend on you —As Christians, the Bible says during uncertain times that we are children of God and we should depend on our Heavenly Father even when we don't know what the future holds. Why? Because we know who holds the future— It's easy to compare yourself to other parents and set unrealistic expectations that make you doubt you're doing what pleases God. You need hope and encouragement to help you find a new place to start on the days you're tempted to quit!Sharing vulnerable stories of their own struggles and doubts, the Copeland's will talk to you about Staying confident in God in a sea of fear and uncertainty — because it's hard.God is with us even in the uncertainty, the unknown, and the imperfect. What do we do when the unexpected happens? Have we pondered to brevity of life lately? As we head into year 2022 here's a reminder.... Living knowing that your life is a vapor is different than just living. Things here are passing away. You've got to hold on to what will stand. Savor what matters. Life Is Short. Eternity Is Long. Live Like It. This may sound harsh, but it's true as night follows the day. You will exist forever. You and God are both in the universe to stay—either as friends on His terms, or enemies on yours—which it will be is proven in this life. And this life is a vapor. Two seconds, and we will be gone.In Today's short meditation, Rashawn Copeland will connect you to a fresh understanding of God and a renewed relationship with Him. You'll find your faith stirred to make every day count for Christ when you consider life as a vapor.Time is precious. We are fragile. Life is short. Eternity is long. Every minute counts. Oh, to be a faithful steward of the breath God has given me. Three texts resound in my ears: “Redeem the time” (Ephesians 5:16 ); “It is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy” (1 Corinthians 4:2); “His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me” (1 Corinthians 15:10).
