The Fly Widow podcast is a truly invaluable resource for widows and anyone navigating the complexities of grief and loss. As a new widow myself, I am deeply grateful to have found this podcast. In just a few episodes, it has provided me with immense comfort, validation, and guidance during this difficult time in my life. Alisha's vulnerability and authenticity shine through in each episode, creating an atmosphere of understanding and empathy that is truly healing.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the sense of community it creates. Hearing the stories, experiences, and coping mechanisms of other widows offers a powerful reminder that we are not alone in our grief. It provides a space for connection and validation, where we can find solace in knowing that others have walked a similar path. The discussions on self-discovery, forgiveness, and finding strength are particularly impactful, as they offer practical tools and insights for navigating grief while rebuilding our lives.

Another aspect that sets this podcast apart is Alisha's ability to address often overlooked aspects of widowhood. From discussing the challenges of survival mode to embracing self-care and exploring identity post-loss, she delves into topics that many may shy away from but are crucial for healing and growth. Her willingness to explore these themes with honesty and vulnerability allows listeners to feel seen and understood in their own unique journeys.

If there were any drawbacks to this podcast, it would be the sporadic release schedule. Although understandable given the personal nature of the content and the host's grieving process, more consistent episodes would provide even greater support to those who rely on this podcast as a source of comfort.

In conclusion, The Fly Widow podcast is a beacon of light for widows seeking solace, guidance, and camaraderie during their journey through grief. Alisha's heartfelt storytelling combined with her expertise as a psychologist create a safe space where listeners can find support while navigating the challenges of widowhood. This podcast serves as a reminder that we are not defined by our loss, but rather have the strength within us to F.L.Y (First Love Yourself) and embrace a new chapter in our lives.

She tried dozens of multivitamins, but they were either too expensive or they just didn't work. So she spent the next decade conducting research, testing different ingredients, and creating my own supplements. During this process, she learned that melanin impacts how we absorb certain nutrients, especially Vitamin D. It is estimated that 80% of us are Vitamin D deficient, which can increase our risk of health issues. Other multivitamins are not formulated for melanated people and do not include the levels of vitamins and nutrients that our bodies need.
