    Open up social media and all you'll see are fitness influencers doing these "effective workouts" for engagement. Backflip deadlifts is a show to showcase the intesnity of the fitness level one has. This is not necessary to achieve the body you want. Just because someone on Instagram has an 8 pack, doesn't mean to follow there ab workouts so you can have one too. There are many other varibles to an 8 pack than doing 1,000 crunches with summer salts.     Is it easier to build muscle or shred fat?

    Yes there are three different types of body types that deal with fat loss and muscle growth differently but each one still needs effort. Just because someone is a mesomorph does not mean building muscle isn't hard work. Just because someone is naturally skinny doesnt mean it's going to be easy to look more "fit" becasue they're already low in BF. Comparing and assunming things will not get you far towards your goals.     Life can be very stressful right? Having to deal with kids, work, school, business, life, friends, drama, etc, and then also juggle all that with meal prepping, training, cardio, recovery, etc. I understand how overwhelming this can all be. After training hundreds of different people, I've seen a very common recurrence in all of them. After even there first workout, they go home and sleep better. Wake up sore, but happy. Go throughout their day with better mental awareness and emotional stability.     What your nutrition could be missing

    Nutrition for progress requires a few things but one is the most important, and that's consistency. Without consistency, your nutrition will only be as good as that one meal. The more nutritional valuable meals you consume in a day, then in a week, then in a month, will allow your body to make changes with what you're giving it (shredding fat, getting healthier, building muscle, etc). This does not happen without consistency. Being consistent with your calories, proteins, carbs, and fats are important, but in my opinion, there is another aspect that's more important, and that's micronutrients. Micronutrients are made up of all your vitamins and minerals that create the strong structure you have (your health) to enhance your performance in this life.     Don't be fooled by product labels

    Have you ever seen a fancy "7g of protein' label on the front of a specific product (mainly a high processed one). Do you see it and think that that product then is a valuable source of protein? I use to always think this, and every label had me fooled. After learning more about nutrition and talking to nutrition experts I began to learn about "Macro Dominent Foods". This is when a specific macro has more grams than any other one in that specific product. Like I mention within the episode, a lot of foods have great nutritional value, but when it comes down to losing weight, dropping body fat, you need to pay attention to macros and calories.
