When life tends to get difficult we have an opportunity to make two choices: 1) Take the hit and quit, or 2) Analyze the situation, what can you learn from it, then attack with everything you have. I used to view challenges as the world telling me I'm not worth anything I dream of. Now I view it as a part of the three pillars I break down for you today. If you begin to view every challenge the way I explain today in this episode, you'll never fail again, because failing demands one thing and that's lost hope with no drive. If you use a challenge as a strengthener, you'll never fail. Other Episodes to listen to 1) Gain control over your mindset and everything else will follow Key Takeaways Pillar #1) Challenges are meant to challenge you to see the value you bring and if you're worth the goals you have Pillar #2) Challenges are meant to challenge to mold your mentality to the mind of the person you're becoming Pillar #3) You'll have to listen to find out My Documentary: "How Training Saved My Life" Episode #1 - Watch here Epiosde #2 - Watch here If you have any questions you want answered or wanting to talk to me directly, head over to: https://www.trainhardlivestrong.com/ask Check out all our partnerships: https://www.trainhardlivestrong.com/Partnerships Flex Pro Meals: https://www.flexpromeals.com/ : Code/ TrainHard to save 20% OFF Host: https://www.instagram.com/matthew_fitness_trainer/ Athletic Beings Training & Apparel: www.athleticbeings.com / www.athleticbeingstraining.com Podcast Website: www.trainhardlivestrong.com/podcast LiquidIV: Liquidiv.com / Code: TrainHard / Save 25% off your entire purchase FNX Fit: https://fnx.grsm.io/TrainHard / Code:Trainhard / Save 15% off your entire purchase Flex Pro Meals / 20% off your 1st order / Code: TrainHard: https://www.flexpromeals.com/ YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/c/MatthewFitnessTrainer Train with Coach Matt Anywhere: www.EliteHIITPerformance.com

CLP Episode 28 #clpselfcarewednesdaysEvery day we come into contact with the energy that can greatly influence our mood and positive well-being. Whether you feel that bad vibe coming from someone else or you feel it lingering in a room you walk in. Many of us spend so much of our lives allowing ourselves to get swept away by other people’s energies good or bad. For those of us who are highly sensitive or empaths like myself, it’s so easy to soak up the world around us, leaving us eventually drained and exhausted. Along with your physical energy, there’s your emotional, mental, and spiritual energy. When you’re lacking in energy, it’s when you don’t feel like you have enough of something in you to continue a task. It’s not just about having or not having energy, it’s about figuring out how to access positive energy and letting it flow through your body. Many years before I knew anything about energy, or protecting your energy I reflected on the fact that how my workdays were stressful, and then once I was home I had to take care of home leaving no downtime for myself. I was being pulled every way that I was needed. It was hard to prevent that burnout phase and leave little time for myself. Then eventually the self-doubt kicks in which can be easy to overlook as negative energy that affects us and takes over. Then we tend to not have a positive outlook on everything and then our protection is down. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~In episode 28, I talk about in my opinion and experiences the ✔️4 steps on How to stay positive and protect your energy in the midst of anything.. #clpselfcarewednesdays ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Disclaimer By participating in listening to my podcast you acknowledge that I am not a licensed psychologist or health care professional and my services do not replace the care of psychologists or other healthcare professionals. Welcome back to the Strategic Stripping Podcast, I’m so happy to have you here. This is part 3 of the Psychology of Selling… learned completely by Mr Brian Tracy…. Who is a world renowned expert in teaching about sales, psychology, and success. He’s getting up there in age, so at this point he’s basically spent a lifetime learning and teaching about how to become successful. He’s absolutely the guy I would attribute most of my success in the stripper world to…. I bet he’d be surprised to hear that. Probably never thought his business presentations were being watched by a hungry stripper that wanted to make the most of her self. Anyway… This is Part 3. And to recap the 2 most important things from the first 2 videos…. #1, is you must learn to love and like yourself. And There are very simple things that you can do to make this happen. One is to look in the mirror. Smile. And keep smiling until you reallllly feel it. Until that smile becomes real. Even if it’s only really real because you feel silly looking at yourself smiling in the mirror. Keep smiling. And once you get that genuine smile…. Now’s the time to say “I like myself. I like myself. I like myself. I like myself. I like myself. I like myself.” I mean it girls, this works. I would not be saying something so silly, if it didn’t personally work for me. Another thing you can do is sit up straight. Keep your chin up, and shoulders back. Having great posture is a sign up high self esteem. And when you sit up straight and hold yourself in a posture that show’s that you care about yourself…. Other people will recognize it…. And so will your subconscious mind. So sit up straight. And the second most important thing so far, is to write down your goals. I know people probably tell you in these self development kinda videos alllll the time, different things for you to do…….. But this one is easy…. And, Brian says out of everything he teaches… that this is the NUMBER ONE THING that you can do, to set your subconscious mind in motion, to start to figure how to achieve your goals. You’ll be putting your subconscious mind on an underground mission to start achieving your goals…. When you take the time to physically write them out. This isn’t your stripper friend talking here telling you to do this…. This is incredibly valuable information given from someone who’s spent a lifetime studying successful people. This shit works. Do it. Do it for me. Do it for you. Do it for your family. Do it for you dog, I don’t care who you do it for…. But do it. Life isn’t meant to be lived in mediocrity……. Mediocrity is what scared me into stripping. What a scary thought…. Being normal…. man…. I just… ah…. Alright, so because the goal for us is to live an abundant life… We’re going to start talking about how to become great at what you do. Being great in this industry requires a lot of mental and physical strength. It requires some tough skin, and to not waste your energy on the wrong people. When it comes to selling, there are always going to be high probability customers, and low probability customers. What’s the best part of selling? It’s making the sale. It’s getting paid. It’s the endorphin rush you get when they say yes… What’s the downside of sales? It’s dealing with difficult people. It’s long drawn out conversations that aren’t going anywhere. It’s not making sales. We hate the feeling of not succeeding. Do we not? If they disrespect you……. Walk away. Dealing with people that are disrespectful or difficult… That’s what grinds us down the fastest. Walk away. In selling, if you start dealing with difficult people, and you quickly decide to walk away… this will keep yourself up. It’ll help keep you in a positive mood. Just be thankful he’s gone, and Don’t spend anymore time thinking about him. Dealing with shitty people can wear you out. Drag you down. Pull your self esteem down. Make you sad. Make you feel bad about yourself. Like you’re not good at selling……… So.. if you’re dealing with someone that sucks…. Brian says (because he’s talking about products or services that we offer… not exactly about ourselves… but… ) “You know, this probably isn’t the right product or service for you. Thank you for your time, and you have a wonderful life.” To be honest…. I think that’d be fun to say. I’d say it about myself anyway, not in a bitchy way maybe, it might even get a laugh out of them… but then I would walk away. I don’t like to leave bad blood. I mean, in this case it really doesn’t matter, I’ve walked away from tons of people mid conversation just because I didn’t want to talk to them anymore or they were irritating me…. If someone is disresrespecting your time or bothering you… walk away. Dealing with happy people will keep you in a good mood, EVEN if they don’t buy. So if you sit with someone for a few minutes or however long you decide to persuade them into coming with your charming self…. Even if they say no… at least you had a good vibe, hopefully left a good vibe… and maybe they’ll find you later. Brian says from now on, for the rest of your career… don’t deal with difficult people. They’re not going to buy anyway……. And if they do they might not pay…. And if they do buy and they do pay… they’ll probably complain. There are some customers that just aren’t worth it. The most important thing you have is the fact that your high energy, optimistic, happy….. don’t let them take that from you. Next is… realize that life comes in seasons. There are money positive seasons and money negative seasons. During the down time…. You’re going to have to go for more people to make more sales. But this isn’t the time to cry and complain. Just recognize it and accept it. The economy is like the weather. You can’t do anything about it, you just adjust to it… Instead of saying “Business is bad”… no… it’s just slower than it was the day before. It’s not bad. And we honestly have one of the most recession proof business to work in anyway!!! I told my future husband the other day I needed to start teaching about how to prepare for an economic crash…. Because it’s coming… and he said “Are you kidding me?…. that industry will always work” And he’s right… because sex does sell… And I also agree, because I was stripping through the 2008 crash and I honestly thought people were just complaining to complain while talking about the economy… because I was making GREAT money… But when I saw the global charts of industries tanking…. Wow was I surprised… But… the girls in my club…. Boy did they bitch about it… I mean wow… It was constant CNN up in there… constant negative news…. So… we are still going to learn about how to prepare for a crash… but we won’t be hurt by it like most. However, it is reallllly important that you decide you’re going to keep making money, and pretend like everyone you talk to still has money. Because if you act like they’re broke and might not want to spend… that’s probably exactly what’ll happen. And here’s the thing…. When you can succeed in a turned down economy, when it turns around, and it will……. You’ll be so far ahead. You’ll be smarter, quicker, more determined, focused, confident…. So just look at it as a challenge to make you stronger. And I have to say this…. Brian says when someone says “God this is so hard” and complains all the time…. He said to say “Yeah, why don’t you quit?” And I’m maybe not recommending to say that……. But god I wanted to say that to so many girls…….. Listen I understand things being hard sometimes… But if you can get one dance every hour and a half, you’re still doing better than most of the country… And every time you complain to your co-workers, without asking permission… just to try to get them to agree with you… the only thing you’re doing is making it harder for everybody. One of the things that Brian talks about when it comes to selling, is when you’re talking to your future customer, talk about the RESULT or BENEFIT of your product. Okay so we’re in a unique industry, so how could we spin that. The first one that comes to my mind is, “You seem like you could use some stress relief. Come play with me…. My boobs will lower your blood pressure and make you happier. This is science.” Find benefits. “Come with me. I’m known as the dream maker. And I want to take you to fantasy land.” Girls…. Go for a walk and just start thinking about lines to use. Come up with sexy stuff… or funny stuff… or mysterious, dangerous, clever, slick stuff… once you find a few lines that work to get guys intrigued enough to say yes… use those lines over and over. Another thing Brian talks about is The Come Back Later guy… now of course, in his industry he wouldn’t call it the come back later guy…. But we all know who I’m talking about. And what Brian suggests, is telling them “I don’t come back later” Something maybe we could try…. Is “I don’t come later. I value my time. And I find you quite attractive. So Do you want to do this, or what?" I would recommend saying that in the sexiest way possible. You’re dealing with a human being that has emotions and feelings… and you want to say it in a way that’s self confident in that, you don’t need him… but you know you two would have fun. Or at least he would have fun. But you know what I mean. You two would have fun. Next is…. perception…… the customers perception of you, is the customers reality of you. When you meet your customers, what you say to them, they will generally believe you. Most people believe that they’re told, and then they SEE, they watch to see if the person is for real. Everything that you say, counts. Everything that you do, counts. Every interaction counts. Personally…. When it comes to selling in the strip club…. I think the BEST WAY to position yourself is the sexiest girl in the club. And this is NOT a character you can fall out of. When there’s no one in there… you don’t go to the bar, slunch over, and start checking facebook on your phone in your own little world. You sit up straight. Chin up, legs crossed and stay turned towards the door slightly. When a new customer comes in… if he’s headed towards the bar first (like lots of them do) have a very open body language. Look at him and smile. And even in your mind…. Say something like “He’s sexy”. It’ll send off a vibe to him that you’re feeling him. Pretend like this is the guy that’s going to become your next long term client. If you’re going to go for being the sexy chick… I’d always stay in character. Always. Sexy and funny is a great mix. And remember even if you don’t feel sexy yet…. You’ve gotta practice. Practice makes perfect. I feel like I remember when I decided I was going to start to be sexy af at work. I felt self conscious. The other girls to a small degree knew me… so I feel like sometimes when people know you, they can almost hold you back. Kinda like… That’s not who she is…. Trying to make you stay the same… But you don’t have to stay the same. You don’t have to stay the same for anyone. And this is one of the reasons why I support club hopping. If you start off with bad luck at one club… maybe no money your first week of shifts… go try another one. Reinvent yourself. I’d go for being the sexy girl. I feel like that’s where most of the money is. They’re going to a strip club. They might be going more for a conversation…. But it’s your sexy hustle that will MOVE them to get a dance with you. In my opinion. In my experience. Anyway! That’s the end of the Psychology of Selling from Brian Tracy. He has a whole book called the Psychology of Selling…. Maybe we’ll go through the whole book someday… but for now, we’re going to stick with the information that I go from this 3 part lecture.

How To Stay Positive with Jeremy Todd “Your attitude equals your altitude.” Zig Ziglar What do you do when you get stuck. Nobody needs proof that a positive outlook can more often lead to a more positive outcome, but we all find ourselves on the wrong side of momentum sometimes. What do you do when this happens? When I catch myself (or a client) slipping into negativity, it is often an indicator a few commonplace culprits in today’s sales workplace. First is fatigue. Working hard is a virtue. Working TOO hard for long periods of time is just stupid. It’s just an ego trip leading to burnout. Ungratefulness-Spouses and jobs have both beauty and bad breath. If you’re not careful, you forget all of the reasons to have wonder, and only see the flaws. What I see most often from top producers is one of two things. 1) their vision is not clear, or 2) they are not living according to the internal standards they have set for themselves-they know they could and should do better. When you fall into the ditch, how do you get your mojo back? I sat down with Jeremy Todd recently, and he shared how he maintains his identity on the positive side. Here are some of the rapid fire suggestions. Be thankful. Surround yourself with great people. Take the first step. Don’t lose your momentum. Being a student of the game. Read books. No news. Watch youtube videos. Listening to podcasts. Reading positive affirmations. You may have a set back, but you won’t fail. Turn your car into a classroom. What are you feeding your brain? Use your network. Call the person who pumps you up. When you get caught up in the weds of your own brain, you need to let others in. Be authentic. Don’t beat yourself up when you are struggling. Just because you have a bad day, doesn’t mean you have to have a bad day. Find a way to win the day. Set up small wins to get momentum. Then you become unstoppable when you get the momentum on the positive side.
