What happens when you confront the place you fear most? Growth. Transformation. The courage to step into discomfort isn't about suffering for its own sake—it's about breaking down the walls of who you were to rebuild into who you're meant to be. Change is rarely comfortable, but it's in the chaos, the unpredictability, where the old you makes way for the new. Yes, people may resist. Your own instincts may fight to keep things safe and predictable. But the key is to stretch beyond all of it—to not just survive the chaos but embrace it. Within that storm lies clarity, strength, and a version of yourself you've only dreamed of becoming. So, where is that place that scares you? Go there. The new you is waiting. Change is hard, but the truth is—when you resist it, you're making a choice. An even harsher truth? Staying in your comfort zone is the reason your business isn't growing. You're stuck because you keep doing the same things, expecting different results. That's the definition of insanity—and it's killing your growth. And keep in mind, "staying in your comfort zone" can manifest in ways you might not even realize. Micromanaging. Refusing to delegate. Needing total control. Waiting for perfection before taking action. Even creating chaos to sabotage your own progress. Believe it or not, you could be your own biggest obstacle. Here's the reality: Over 50% of businesses fail because they refuse to adapt, change, or face the hard truths about their strategies. Are you ready to stop blaming the market, the economy, or your competition? The real obstacle is you. It's time to ditch the excuses, make the changes, and start taking action. Growth isn't easy, but neither is staying stagnant. If you're serious about scaling your business, this is your wake-up call. Step out of the comfort zone. Embrace the chaos. Make bold moves. Growth doesn't happen where it's safe, it happens when you face the uncomfortable truth and take action. In this episode of iDigress, we dive deep into the uncomfortable reality of why many entrepreneurs, leaders, and creatives stay stuck. Jesus Follower's Greatest Witness for the Gospel of Jesus, in a Hurting World, is for Others to See Jesus in Them MESSAGE SUMMARY: You need to live the Christian life in whatever you do – at home; in your job; in the way that you drive; and in the way that you treat your friends. We live in a hurting world, but God wants more for you. To achieve God's desire for your life, you must stay in fellowship and communion with God; and you must let Him work in your life. In Colossians 3:17, Paul challenges us: “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”. If you live your life, in all places and situations, in the name of Jesus, you will live a better life in our hurting world. As Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:31: “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.". Remember, the greatest witness for the Gospel, as a follower of Jesus, that you can give is for others to see Jesus in you.   TODAY'S PRAYER: Father, I confess that when difficulties and trials come into my life, large or small, I mostly grumble and complain. I realize the trials James talks about are not necessarily “walls,” but they are difficult to bear, nonetheless. Fill me with such a vision of a transformed life, O God, that I might actually consider it “pure joy” when you bring trials my way. I believe, Lord. Help my unbelief. In Jesus' name, amen.    Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 94). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Lust. Rather, I will abide in the Lord's Perfect Provision. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5). Post: “Higher Consciousness Hack: Instead of viewing others as ‘bad' or ‘wrong' or ‘evil' - simply view them as limited. Their level of consciousness limits them to unpalatable behaviours and they simply cannot do better considering their current level of understanding and awareness. They are not bad, they are simply limited. This small shift in perspective allows you greater peace, greater compassion, forgiveness and grace. Remember, the higher you move in consciousness the less fault you find in others.” WONDER WHY EVIL RUNS THE WORLD? This is a public episode. Stop Making Excuses for Not Following Jesus and Follow Him Without Reservations MESSAGE SUMMARY: From the Gospel of Luke (9:51-60): “Following Jesus” Christians are not just believers in Jesus; Christians are followers of Jesus. Jesus asks us to follow Him, but it's not like He is physically here on earth with us to show us the way. We must discern His intended way for us by listening to His voice and reading His Word and by aligning ourselves with the Holy Spirit who is leading us. Part of what Jesus is teaching us in Luke 9:51-60 is to stop making excuses and reasons for not following Him. Jesus calls us to follow Him now and without reservations. In Matthew 10:37-39, Jesus significantly refines the context and implications of His call to us as His followers: “Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not take his worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.". Our calls from Jesus to follow Him may, often, be moment by moment. As Jesus said to the First Century Christians: follow me today! Is Jesus the Lord, or is Jesus your Lord? You must consciously make the decision to follow Jesus because He will call you. Jesus said: “Follow me.”. Who and what are you following   TODAY'S PRAYER: Keeping the Sabbath, Lord, will require a lot of changes in the way I am living life. Teach me, Lord, how to take the next step with this in a way that fits my unique personality and situation. Help me to trust you with all that will remain unfinished and to enjoy my humble place in your very large world. In Jesus' name, amen.    Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 129). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that because of what God has done for me in His Son, Jesus, I AM A CHILD OF GOD. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God-- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
