The Modern Prometheus is the culmination of 16 years of comedy music making, and serves as the over-the-top, big prog-rock album ending to our final record. It originally began life as an improv around a couple of drum loops, haphazardly attempting to recount the plot of Frankenstein from memory. While the original version appears on our album from last year, this special orchestra accompanied version was written in celebration of The Thumbnuts joining The FuMP. Credits: Music, Instrumentation, and Production: Trevor Cochran Vocals: Gus Pewe, Trevor Cochran, Tommy Colangelo Lyrics by: Gus Pewe, Trevor Cochran Additional Guitar: Glenn Horne Orchestral Arrangement: Danny Farley Samples Taken from: Beetle Adventure Racing (1999), Frankenstein (1931) Interpolations from: "The God that Failed" by Metallica (1991), "Finally Free" by Dream Theater (1999)

Livets store spørsmål, kun hos Cross Over Gaming. Spill vi snakker om i episode 64: Wave Race 64, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, (Super) Mario Party, Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, Jet Force Gemini, GoldenEye 007, Blast Corp, Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Diddy Kong Racing, Superman 64, Pokémon Stadium, Hey You, Pikachu!, (New) Pokémon Snap, Pokémon Puzzle League, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask, Buck Bumble, Glover, Doshin the Giant, Waialae Country Club, Hybrid Heaven, NHL 99, Custom Robo, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Bomberman 64, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Beetle Adventure Racing, Iggy's Reckin' Balls, Turok, Mario Tennis/Golf, Mischief Makers, What the Golf, FIFA 22, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, Overwatch 2, The Longing, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Monster Hunter Rise, Portal, Castlevania, Golf Peaks, Yoshi's Story, It Takes Two, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Trilogy.

We look at the history of the VW Beetle, celebrate the last of the Blockbuster rental exclusives, and try to find as many secret routes as we can. Plus, our first unofficial two-parter: RE-VOLT, the third game we meant to play this week, broke down, so it will be attached to our episode next week! Welcome back to I'll Show You Mine! In episode 2, James shows Elyse a childhood favorite, Beetle Adventure Racing for the Nintendo 64, an arcade racer from 1999. Will Elyse, who is notoriously terrible at racing games, get it at all? Will a racing game from the late 90s have anything to offer in our day and age? Are you In or Out? You always find a way to feel it. You don't know exactly what it is, but it is certainly there. You've discovered a dormant longing for the things that make you *you*. And you long for it because lately, it's been easy to forget. You want to laugh in the way that you used to; full in the knowledge that you are the only one doing so or the only one that knows why. You want to reclaim the "good old days" that you've spent your life convincing yourself you lost, or were ever there in the first place. This has been true for you for as long as you can remember: like a veil of shadow, gnashing against the periphery whenever you have the audacity to feel happy. But, as time has gone on, you've found value in your ability to acknowledge the dark parts of you at all. You sometimes feel as if you're drowning in the middle of a thick, black sea. But you manage to smile. You manage to fight. You manage to win. Discussed: Book Club. Super Mario Odyssey. Hyper Light Drifter. Fortnite. Stardew Valley. South Park: The Fractured But Whole. The Inheritance Cycle. Eragon: The Movie. Avril Lavigne. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2: now with more Jude Law. Space Station Silicon Valley. Official Xbox Magazine demo discs and their weird ass games. Power Stone. Beetle Adventure Racing.
