The boys revel in such frivolities and really wallow in the misery of Knicks fans after an all-time NBA playoffs collapse. Tek & Prem dive into the Eagles 2025 NFL Schedule and take a look at the matchups and anomalies of it. The Birds are clearly an elite unit poised to push hard for a Super Bowl repeat, but they will have to do it through a gauntlet of a schedule this season. They play 10 games against 2024 Playoff teams and do not have one back-to-back at home. While there are no international games to travel for, thankfully, there are a slew of games on days other than Sunday and very challenging teams successively, at multiple points. So goes the nature of the NFL. Their leaders will carry them. The Phillies are back in action tonight at the Bank, coming off their first home series loss since last July. The rotation is elite and the bullpen is coming into form, but Bryce Harper is still yet to find his stroke at the dish. The supporting cast has helped lead them to a .581 win percentage thus far, 4th in the NL. The Pirates come in this weekend for 3 games, and although they are not a good team, they are a pesky squad with a knack for close contests. The Flyers have a new head coach, former Flyer Rick Tocchet, received with mixed reviews, and the Sixers will pick 3rd in the upcoming NBA Draft. Segments include: VetPhact, Prem's MLB Picks.Courtesy of the Vet Alumni Members Association (VAMA)
Hour 3: Ike, Spike and Fritz are discussing the Phillies and specifically Bryce Harper's struggles. Jack asks if people think the Eagles Super Bowl title has put additional pressure on Bryce to get it done this year.
Bryce Harper seems a little frustrated. His numbers (.770 OPS) are not bad, but they are not to his normal standard. Harper shaved his head the other night to try and snap out of his funk. Rich Hofmann and Bob Cooney will talk about Bryce and more Phillies developments on the PHLY Phillies Show.
Bryce Harper's early season struggle continues to weigh on the midday show. As they think more about the Phillies superstar's struggled they wonder if this is just an early season slump or something more concerning that could linger the rest of the season?
In hour 1, the WIP Midday Show is concerned with Bryce Harper's recent performances and wants to know if this is a small slump or something serious for down the road to worry about. Also, the MLB has reinstated Pete Rose making him eligible for the Hall of Fame, find out what the Midday Show thinks of this news!
On today's show, the WIP Midday Show is live from Citizens Bank Park ahead of the Phillies and Cardinals doubleheader today! The 76ers still have their first round pick. That's good! They have the third overall pick! That's great! The NBA rigged the draft lottery to give the Dallas Mavericks the first overall pick. That's bad! The Let's Go to the Phones boys discuss the recent NBA Draft Order Selection show and declare their undying love for Ace Bailey...unless he stinks and they disavow all knowledge of him. Plus, the boys discuss the Phillies play as of late, the Eagles first round matchups against the hated Cowboys, and the sad loss of legendary wrestler Sabu. Hour 2: Ike, Spike and Fritz discuss Bryce Harper's cold streak and the move to shave his head to shake things up.
Harper went 0-4 last night after having a decent weekend and what the Morning team thought was a turn-around for Harper. Reuben Amaro Jr offers some insight into what he thinks is going on with Bryce. Ruben then sounds off from a former GM's perspective, on what may have gone on with the Luka Dončić trade. Did that have an effect on the Mavs getting the #1 pick despite having a less than 2% chance at it?
The Morning Show reacted to the Mavericks surprisingly getting the 1st overall pick in the NBA Draft last night during the NBA Draft Lottery. Something seems a little fishy- after years of these “miracles” happening for specific teams, the Morning team thinks the draft is probably rigged in some way. Tom wants the Sixers to rebuild by keeping their #3 pick and trade Paul George and Joel Embiid, but Jon Ritchie disagrees saying Embiid might be back and healthier than ever next season. They also discussed Bryce Harper's slump with Ruben Amaro Jr., who was in-studio. The MVP has had a slow start this season and still doesn't quite seem to be on track. The Eagles host the Cowboys to start the 2025 NFL season- some are excited to rub the banner in Jerry Jones' face, others don't think the Cowboys are worthy of being on the same stage as the Super Bowl Champion Eagles. Eliot Shorr-Parks joins the show to talk about Eagles rookie camp observations and his thoughts on the Sixers sitting at 3rd overall in the draft. Who's better: Cooper Flagg or Ace Bailey? Can Daryl Morey really build a quality team?
The Philadelphia Phillies had a disappointing outing yesterday falling to the Cardinals 3-2. One of the headlines from the game is Bryce Harper's poor performance and new haircut. With Bryce Harper seemingly in distress with his performances should the Phillies give Bryce Harper some time to cool off and find his form?
Phillies beat reporter is live on the show to break down the Phillies rough night against the Cardinals last night. As well as, Bryce Harper's new haircut and poor performance, Rob Thomson's comments earlier and more!
Bryce Harper made headlines when he came out to the game last night with a shaved head. The WIP Midday show want to look more into the deeper implications of this new haircut.
In hour 3, Joe, Hugh and Kyle check-in with WIP's Phillies beat reporter, Devan Kaney, to get her perspective on the Phillies to the Cardinals last night and much more. Plus, Bryce Harper shaved his head.
In the second hour, the guys look at the latest games that have been leaked for the Eagles 2026 schedule. And they wonder if Bryce Harper needs a day off as he continues to struggle at the plate for the Phillies.
On today's WIP Midday Show, the guys give their takes on the Sixers landing the 3rd overall pick in the NBA Draft lottery last night and what they think the team should do with the pick. And they react to Bryce Harper shaving his head and continuing to struggle and talk Phillies with Devan Kaney. As well as looking at potential trades for the Phillies and Eagles.

After an impressive weekend by the Phillies, Ike finally believes! Ike explains why and the guys discuss a potential Kyle Schwarber extension, Bryce Harper's comments, and more.
Bryce Harper has started the season slowly, but seems to show signs of improvement with a homer over the weekend. Tom Kelly suggests Rafael Marchan contributes to Aaron Nola's high ERA. The team questions if Nola needs JT Realmuto as his catcher and if Garrett Stubbs should replace Marchan on the roster.
The WIP Morning Show with Tom Kelly, in for Joe DeCamara, and Jon Ritchie discussed the Phillies' chances of winning the NL East and a hypothetical trade for Rafael Devers? Would it make sense? The Phillies have been hot as of late and Bryce Harper might be hitting his stride. The Eagles will kick off the 2025 NFL season at home against the Cowboys and get to hang the Super Bowl banner right in front of Jerry Jones. The Sixers have a shot at a top pick in the NBA Draft Lottery. Can they secure the #1 overall spot and draft Cooper Flagg? Does Tom Kelly know any music? Will he box Buzz? Time's Yours and more!
Bryce Harper has had a slow start this season, and for a while couldn't seem to get rolling. Over the weekend, Harper homered and seems to be making some progress.
With Kyle Schwarber seemingly heading into a free agency barring a contract extension from the Phillies it's not just the midday show who wants this deal to be done today. Phillies superstar and leader Bryce Harper wants Schwarber to be locked in with the Phillies for future ASAP as well!
Francisco Rojas is here with a new episode of Phillies Today! On today's show, he starts with his observations and takeaways from both last night's game against the Cleveland Guardians and the series overall. Also, he previews the next series for the Phillies versus the St. Louis Cardinals. Lastly, he goes around MLB and does another edition of "This Day in Phillies History".
Rob Ellis and Mike Sielski on their Saturday morning time-slot talk a lot of Phillies after they drop the first game in the Cleveland series last night. Daryl Morey recently spoke about the Sixers and their future and was certainly uninspiring. Hear from Jeff McLane about the Birds and Jeff Kerr about the Phillies, including a report on what he saw from Andrew Painter.
James Seltzer and Eliot Shorr-Parks discuss Jalen Hurts' ranking among current Philadelphia athletes and debate who belongs on the Eagles Mt. Rushmore. On today's show, the WIP midday show following BG Day yesterday have some concerns over life without Brandon Graham! Have the Eagles done enough to replace BG, who will be the leader on a defense who only has 1 player over the age of 26, and could this prove to be legitimate threat to the Eagles team? Have sixers fans also become jealous of the Eastern Conference rival? As well as, Bryce Harper seemingly taking a shot at the WIP midday show, more reaction to BG Day yesterday, and more!

Ranger Suarez made his 2025 season debut for the Philadelphia Phillies, but took the loss after giving up 7 runs to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the series finale at Citizens Bank Park yesterday. Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper homered for the Phillies offense, but it wasn't enough to overcome the three runs allowed by the bullpen in the top of the 10th inning. Up next, it's a three game series with the Tampa Bay Rays.
On today's High Hopes Jackie Baseball Report the guys talk about the series win over the weekend, Ranger Suarez's rough return to the starting rotation, comments from Bryce Harper, and more.
Rob Ellis and Mike Sielski discuss what's been up with Bryce Harper, recapping the Eagles 2025 Draft Class and what will happen with Dallas Goedert? Scott Lauber and Jimmy Kempski join the show and more!
The Nats snapped their three game skid with a 4-2 victory on Thursday night at the Phillies. Mark (From Philadelphia) & Al open with the eventful top of the 6th where Washington scored all of their runs. Luis Garcia Jr. not only had a RBI single, but also stole home on a double steal for the final insurance run.(08:10) Keibert Ruiz knocked in Nathaniel Lowe on what was ruled a three base error by Bryce Harper, but should it have been scored as a triple?(12:45) Brad Lord lasted five innings and recorded his first Big League "W". The timing is rather interesting as his rotation spot is at stake if Michael Soroka returns from the IL in the near future.(18:45) The bullpen came through for Lord as three relievers combined for four scoreless frames. Jose A. Ferrer tossed two innings, Jorge Lopez pitched the 8th, and Kyle Finnegan bounced back with his 10th save of the season, the 2nd most in the NL.(25:00) The Nationals made their first bullpen transaction post Opening Day as they signed veteran Andrew Chafin and DFA'd Colin Poche. Chafin has been in the majors since 2014 and has a career ERA of 3.42. The lefty pitched well for AAA-Toledo last month before signing a major league deal with the Nats.(30:00) The road trip moves this weekend to Cincinnati for a three game set. Mitchell Parker will start the opener on Friday night vs. Hunter Greene. The Reds are 17-15 overall and are in 2nd place in their division.
