Andrew Pollard, President and CEO of Blackrock Silver (TSX.V:BRC – OTCQX:BKRRF), joins me to discuss some of the recent high-grade silver and gold assays returned from the reverse circulation Scout Drilling Program completed on the southeastern side of the DPB M&I Conversion area on its 100% owned Tonopah West project located in Nye and Esmeralda Counties, Nevada, United States. We start off reviewing all the exploration work completed in last year's phase of the program with the 20,000 meters of M&I conversion drilling, and then focused on the additional 15,000 meters of drilling that has been added to this phase of the program. In tandem with improving the continuity of mineralization, and converting resources from inferred to measured and indicated, there is also a fair amount of expansion drilling underway. Andrew outlined that the assays from their reverse circulation scout drill program have returned significant gold & silver values in 7 drillholes that have successfully expanded the footprint of mineralization up to 1,200 meters to the east of the existing DPB resource toward the historic Ohio mine. These intercepts cover a new zone of mineralization not included in the 2024 resource that may impact the upcoming DPB South resource update (Q3, 2025); Hole TW25-128 returned 9.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 1,198 g/t silver over 1.52-metres (2,063 g/t silver equivalent (AgEq)) from 292 meters in the Ohio area; Hole TW25-133 returned multiple thick zones of mineralization including 10.46 g/t gold and 10.6 g/t silver over 4.57-metres (952 g/t AgEq) including 1.52 meters grading 21.45 g/t gold and 15.7 g/t silver (1,948 g/t AgEq) from 309 meters Next we reviewed the rising grade profile and shallow nature of some of the new mineralized zones that have been tested in the Measured and Indicated portion of the drill program from late last year and slated to complete next month. Results continue to exceed expectations at the Merten-Bermuda vein group in the DPB South area, confirming high-grade silver and gold connects across significant length at higher-than-average grades. These results should positively impact the front end of the mine plan by adding higher confidence, higher grade mineralization at more shallow depths, and will be featured in the M&I resource update due out in September of Q3. The expansion drill results will keep being released through this year to be able to update that portion with a second resource update slated for Q1 2026, and then an updated PEA incorporating all that data is planned for Q2 of 2026. We wrap up discussing the permitting progress underway on this patented land in Nevada, and how the new executive order from the Trump administration could positively affect the funding and development process for the Tonopah West Project. If you have any follow up questions for Andrew regarding Blackrock Silver, then please email them into me at Shad@kereport.com. * In full disclosure, Shad is shareholder of Blackrock Silver at the time of this recording. Nevada is a land of extremes—scorching deserts, deep waters, and secrets buried in the sand. In this episode, we dive into the chilling legends of Pyramid Lake, where vengeful spirits and eerie drownings defy explanation. We explore the mysterious Devil's Hole, a seemingly bottomless abyss that has taken lives and baffled scientists for decades. And finally, we venture into Tonopah, a town where ghosts roam the historic Mizpah Hotel, and the dead may outnumber the living. Andrew Pollard, President and CEO of Blackrock Silver (TSX.V:BRC – OTCQX:BKRRF), joins us to review some of the recent high-grade silver and gold assays returned from both the Measured & Indicated drilling as well as the expansion drilling from the ongoing exploration program at their 100% controlled Tonopah West Project, in Nevada. We start off reviewing some of the recent multiple +1 kg/t AgEq intercepts in the first assays from the resource expansion program at Tonopah West, stepping out 500km of strike to test and start to connect the areas between DPB and the Northwest Extension. 15,000 meters of more drilling have been added to this phase of the program, which as already seen 20,000 meters completed last year. RESOURCE EXPANSION PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: TXC25-123 returned assays up to 23.47 g/t Au and 2,223 g/t Ag for 4,335 g/t AgEq over 0.31 metres within a 3.05 metre zone grading 225 g/t Ag and 2.41 g/t Au for 442 g/t AgEq; TXC24-113 yielded 7.14 g/t Au and 614 g/t Ag for 1,257 g/t AgEq over 0.31 metres, and 1.68 metres of 364 g/t Ag and 0.03 g/t Au for 367 g/t AgEq; TXC25-124 returned 8.06 metres grading 1.23 g/t Au and 122 g/t Ag for 233 g/t AgEq, including 0.76 metres of 779 g/t Ag and 7.85 g/t Au for 1,486 g/t AgEq; Andrew outlined that the NW Step Out target shows potential to add an additional 30 to 50% of new resource to Tonopah West, allowing for the capture and inclusion of the NW resource (1.0M tonnes containing an inferred 6.4M ozs Ag and 63k ozs Au or 12.1M ozs AgEq) into a future updated preliminary economic assessment on Tonopah West; and resource update. There are 7 additional core holes planned to reduce the spacing to 50-metre drill centers along a 450 meter portion of the trend. Next we reviewed the rising grade profile and shallow nature of some of the new mineralized zones that have been tested in the Measured and Indicated portion of the drill program from late last year and slated to complete next month. Results continue to exceed expectations at the Merten-Bermuda vein group in the DPB South area, confirming high-grade silver and gold connects across significant length at higher-than-average grades. These results should positively impact the front end of the mine plan by adding higher confidence, higher grade mineralization at more shallow depths, and will be featured in the M&I resource update due out in Q3. There are still about 17 drill assays pending at the lab to be released over the next couple months. The expansion drill results will keep being released through this year to be able to update that portion of the resource in Q1 2026, and then an updated PEA incorporating all that data is planned for Q2 of 2026. We wrap up discussing the permitting progress underway on this patented land in Nevada, and how the company has a study underway to break ground on an underground exploration decline in 2027, as well as complete test mining and extract a bulk sample from the shallowest and highest-grade stopes from the Bermuda-Merten vein group (collectively, "DPB South") at an average undiluted grade of 981 g/t silver equivalent (AgEq).* If you have any follow up questions for Andrew regarding Blackrock Silver, then please email them into us at Fleck@kereport.com or Shad@kereport.com. *In full disclosure, Shad is shareholder of Blackrock Silver at the time of this recording. Andrew Pollard, President and CEO of Blackrock Silver (TSX.V:BRC – OTCQX:BKRRF), joins me to review the next batch of high-grade silver and gold intercepts returned from this year's expanded 22,000 meter Measured and Indicated (M&I) conversion drill program on the 100% controlled Tonopah West Project, in Nevada. We also discuss the potential for expansion drilling, the rising grade profile, and timeline to permitting. Highlights from this next batch of drill results: TXC24-095 returned multiple zones of high-grade mineralization including: 1.68 meters of 1,056 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent (AgEq) [572.7 g/t silver (Ag) and 5.38 g/t gold (Au)] from 192.9 meters 1.83 meters of 341 g/t AgEq (147 g/t Ag and 2.61 Au) from 196 meters 1.07 meters of 633 g/t AgEq (343.7 g/t Ag and 3.21 Au) from 239 meters, including 0.55 meters of 1,225 g/t AgEq (665 g/t Ag and 6.23 g/t Au) and 5.03 meters of 774.5 g/t AgEq (461.5 g/t Ag and 3.47 g/t Au) from 242.5 metres, including 0.76 meters of 2,245 g/t AgEq (1,362 g/t Ag and 9.8 g/t Au) TXC24-098 returned 1.22 meters of 634 g/t AgEq (265.6 g/t Ag and 4.09 g/t Au) from 326.8 meters, including 0.3 meters of 2,480 g/t AgEq (1,034 gt Ag and 16.06 g/t Au) TXC24-117 returned 2.01 meters of 1,783 g/t AgEq (1,141 g/t Ag and 7.13 g/t Au) from 261.2 meters, including 0.4 meters of 6,064.4 g/t AgEq (3,712 g/t Ag and 26.13 g/t Au) Andrew discusses how the goals of this drill program are to improve confidence in the continuity of mineralization in the deposit, converting Inferred mineralized areas Measured and Indicated, while connecting orphaned areas of mineralization, including the potential of bringing in the 12 million ounces of stranded ounces at the Northwest Step Out. Additionally, there is the goal to increase the resources and anticipated mine life a few years beyond the 8-year and 8.6 million annual production that was first outlined in the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). In that initial PEA at the base case gold price of $1,900 per ounce and silver price of $23 per ounce, the Project commands an after-tax net present value (“NPV”) discounted at 5% of $326-million on a low initial capex of $178-million (including $22-million contingency) with a payback of 2.3 years and an after-tax internal rate of return (“IRR”) of 39.2%, and an All-in Sustaining Costs (“AISC”) of $11.96 per silver equivalent ounce basis. One of the other takeaways from the last two batches of drill results released is that the grade profile is actually increasing, with many results coming in higher than the average resource grade previously released to the market, and thus should be improving the economics as well. Andrew outlines that the plan is to keep drilling through 2024 into the first half 2025, and then updating the resources and PEA accordingly. We wrap up having Andrew walk us through the advantages of being on private land in Nevada, the anticipated permitting timeline, and some of the improving sentiment for US-based projects under the Trump administration, which may offer more blue-sky upside on the surround BLM prospects in their land package. He feels their resources, preliminary economics, permitting path and ability to grow puts the Tonopah West Project in a unique position to separate from most other silver projects in the space, and potentially be attractive as an acquisition target to larger producers. If you have any follow up questions for Andrew regarding Blackrock Silver, then please email us at Fleck@kereport.com or Shad@kereport.com. A town of many pronunciations, welcome to Tonopah, Nevada and the Mizpah Hotel. We've encountered a lot of ladies in our line of work, and this location is no different as we encounter The Red Lady, a color we've come across surprisingly only a few times. The Red Lady seems to have a lot to say, and some of it may be a warning of who else is there with her. Send us a textJoin the Boozy Bitches as they take a look inside The Clown Motel, located in Tonopah, Nevada. With its isolated location in the middle of the state, as well as being next door to a cemetery, it's no wonder it has a haunted reputation. But is it? Or is it just creepy? Listen in and find out! Or go visit and decide for yourself. We also touch on the 2011 death of teacher, Ellen Greenberg, the appalling decision to rule it a suicide, and the involvement of Nancy Grace to change that. Andrew Pollard, President and CEO of Blackrock Silver (TSX.V:BRC – OTCQX:BKRRF), joins us to unpack the positive Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) at its 100% controlled Tonopah West Project, located along the Walker Lane trend, in one of the largest historic silver districts in North America, located on private land in Nye and Esmeralda counties, Nevada; approximately 1 kilometer (km) northwest of Tonopah. At the base case gold price of $1,900 per ounce and silver price of $23 per ounce, the Project commands an after-tax net present value ("NPV") discounted at 5% of $326-million on a low initial capex of $178-million (including $22-million contingency) with a payback of 2.3 years and an after-tax internal rate of return ("IRR") of 39.2% At a gold price of $2,280 per ounce and a silver price of $27.60 per ounce (base case +20%), the economic profile of the Project escalates to an after-tax NPV 5% of $495-million and an after-tax IRR of 54.0%. All-in Sustaining Costs ("AISC") of $11.96 per silver equivalent ounce basis. Over the approximately 8-year life of mine ("LOM"), production from the mining and processing of approximately 4.1 million diluted tonnes of material containing 75.4 million silver equivalent ("AgEq") ounces (silver/gold ratio of 90/1) which equates to 66.8 payable AgEq ounces. Recoveries of 96.1% for gold and 88.9% for silver from a 3-stage crushing circuit and processing plant. We discuss that the updated resource estimate at Tonopah West contains a total of 57,000 ounces of gold and 48.5 million ounces of silver, for a total of 100.04Mozs of silver equivalent. However, some of those resources, including the near 12million ounces of AgEq from the Northwest Step Out deposit, were excluded in this PEA. The Company is working on de-risking an initial 3 years of production and bridging a 1km mineralized strike potential to the NW step-out zone that could bring additional ounces on and into the mine development plan in future economic studies. 3 drills are at site currently engaged in an ongoing 20,000 meter resource expansion and conversion program aimed at further growing the project. We also discussion the various project derisking that their team is doing in the background like metallurgical testing and process flowsheet, hydrology studies, environmental studies, permitting, site infrastructure and the potential placement of a decline and processing mill, all in tandem with the exploration strategy. The Company just raised $10Million in May, bringing in a larger stake from Eric Sprott, and so it is cashed up to do this large drill program and future derisking work. Andrew Pollard, President and CEO of Blackrock Silver (TSX.V:BRC – OTCQX:BKRRF), joins us to outline the key focus of the 20,000 meter drill program starting up this month in July at its 100% controlled Tonopah West Project, located in the Walker Lane trend of Western Nevada. The Updated MRE at Tonopah West contains a total of 0.57 million ounces of gold and 47.74Mozs of silver or 100.04Mozs of silver equivalent. The key initiatives with this year's drill program is to put in approximately 50 drill holes to convert inferred resources to “measured and indicated” on their Merten and Bermuda veins, as well as to crystalize further expansion along the 1km vein corridor between the DPB, Victor, and NW Step-out areas. At present there are multiple deposits along 2.5kms of strike length and tracked across open vein corridor spanning 4km in strike length. One of the goals of this program is drill in between the large gaps (1.5km) remaining to infill these areas and bridge the deposits together as one larger deposit. The system also remains open to the south, northwest, at depth. We also discussion the various project derisking that their team is doing in the background like metallurgical testing and process flowsheet, hydrology studies, environmental studies, site infrastructure and the potential placement of a decline and processing mill, all in tandem with the exploration strategy. The company just raised $10Million in May, bringing in a larger stake from Eric Sprott, and is cashed up to do work beyond this drill program. If you have any follow up questions for Andrew regarding Blackrock Silver, then please email us at Fleck@kereport.com or Shad@kereport.com. A new MP3 sermon from Discover The Word With Dr Jim is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: DTW Road Trip To Jim Butler Days In Tonopah NV 5-25-24 Subtitle: DTW Ministry Up-Date Speaker: Dr. James M. Phillips Broadcaster: Discover The Word With Dr Jim Event: Current Events Date: 5/25/2024 Length: 50 min.
Viva Gold CEO, James Hesketh, discusses the Tonopah Gold Project in Nevada. The goal of the drilling program was to confirm and expand high-grade zones. Recent drill results have shown longer intervals and good grades, shaping the project for a technical report. The company aims to complete infill drilling and move rapidly into a pre-feasibility study. Future financing will be needed, and there is an appetite for funding in the current market. There is also speculation about potential M&A activity in the Tonopah district.
Mercedes Vega is seen on video at 9:15 p.m. leaving her apartment complex in Tempe, Arizona. In the video Vega is seen walking with her face looking down as if she was on Facetime. Mercedes Vegas is texting multiple people on the night of April 16. And looking at those messages as a whole, she is either going to meet friends for Sushi, meet other friends at "Dave&Busters," or, as she indicates in another text, go to work. In one of her text messages Mercedes Vega says, "I just feel weird, like maybe I shouldn't go anywhere." In the early morning hours of April 17, the Harquahala Fire Department responds to a report of a burning car on the “north hand shoulder” of the I-10 highway, west of Tonopah, Arizona. Firefighters find a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu on fire. Once the fire is put out, a deceased human body is found in the rear passenger seat. At 1:15 a.m. Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies are called to a scene to assist the Arizona Department of Public Safety on a death investigation. Investigators talk to the man who called law enforcement about the car on fire. Robert Miller tells officials he saw a person walking outside the vehicle. Using fingerprints, investigators can identify the woman found inside the burning Malibu as 22-year-old Mercedes Vega. The 2018 Chevrolet Malibu in which her body was found, does not belong to Vega. The car has a Salvage Title vehicle registered to State Farm Insurance and the burning car is 60 miles from Vega's Tempe, Arizona apartment. Mercedes' 2019, White, Dodge Charger is found illegally parked near First Street and Farmer Avenue, 1.5 miles south of where she lives. According to her mother, the car is parked while running with the keys in the ignition so it would be stolen or towed. The MCSO has video surveillance of Vega's Charger from the time it is left parked on the road until the time police recover it. Vega didn't park it where it was found. Maricopa County Medical Examiner's report states the cause of death was “conflagration, blunt force and ballistic injuries," and the Manner of Death is Homicide. The death report also states she has blunt force trauma and gunshot injuries that contributed to her death, and an odor of bleach within the larynx. The report notes the presence of gloves and bleach found in front of the car and lighter fluid in the backseat. First up, Kala talks about The Mizpah Hotel and The Clown Motel in Tonopah, Nevada. The Mizpah is a historic hotel that got its start during a mining boom, and has continued for over a hundred years to provide people with excellent service, a fun experience, and ghosts. Each floor from the fifth down to the basement holds the potential for the paranormal including a Lady in Red, giggling ghostly children, and menacing miners. And what better way to celebrate having one of Duluth's queens of country in the studio than to talk about an outlaw! Brittany talks about Jesse James and his family's farm. Teens Jonathan Stockle and Penny Lyles are dating. When Lyles' family moves back to Oregon, Stockle is invited to join them. After a time, Ryan Lyles, Penny's father, reportedly reads concerning private messages on his oldest daughter's phone. Those messages are alledgedly about drugs, and sneaking out of the house to use drugs. Ryan Lyles messages daughter, Penny, at school telling her to come straight home after school to talk. They never make it home. Ryan Lyles and the police are called to the school after Penny Lyles tells a school counselor about abuse in the home. According to a report on News 12, after police talk to Penny, they tell her to go home with her father. Ryan Lyles alleges the school counselor tells Penny Lyles if she wants to run, go out the back door. Lyles further claims the counselor opened the door and let her run out. The teens have been missing ever since, except for a traffic stop in Nevada. The were found by officials on Friday, but they didn't stay “found”. News 12 confirmed that the couple was pulled over by the Nevada Highway Patrol in Tonopah. The case was turned over to the Nye County Sheriff's Office. Officials say Penny Lyles then escaped Division of Child and Family Services custody during a transport by asking to use the restroom She left through a door, and allegedly rejoined Stockle. Rollin' down the street smokin' indo, sippin on bug juice. LAID BACK! With my mind on those clowns and those clowns on my mind. Right? Anyway, hello and welcome to another episode of KEEP IT WEIRD!! The podcast for all things strange and unusual. We are the luckiest gals alive because each week we get to sit down and gab about something WEIRD! We hope you're not turned off by the Trigger Warning at the beginning-- it seems like this episode is going to be VERY heavy but it's surprisingly tame... except for all the death. This week Laura starts us off with one of our favorite new segments WHERE IN THE WORLD IS KEEP IT WEIRD!! Just like our hero Carmen Sandiego, we go ALL over this planet (in our hearts) in search of the world's weirdest places and boy we found a doozy. I'm surprised it took us seven years to talk about this place but HERE WE ARE. The Clown Motel in Tonopah, Nevada! Located directly across the street from a very spooky cemetery, this place has more clowns than one man or woman could possibly handle. Maybe that's why there's so much paranormal activity?? Orrrrr maybe they're trying to sell you a ticket. We will never find out, because we will not go. Ashley cuts in because she HAD A THOUGHT! Could it be that criminal profiler and FBI Agent John Douglas wasn't just ahead of his time and good at his job? Could he have been... psychic? It's just a thought OKAY!? And Lauren brings us home (or to hell?) with one of our newest segments, a SPONSORED segment called CURSED CROONERS AND SPOOKY SONGS (Sponsored by Melanie Vartabedian) as she shares with us possibly the most cursed song of all-- "Gloomy Sunday" by Rezso Seress. Did this song CAUSE suicides? Or was it the widespread famine and war in Hungary that pushed them over the edge? Is this song just too damn sad? Check out some links below if you want to do some FURTHER reading into all of this madness. Please follow us on social media @keepitweirdcast and LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel if you love us long time. #BlackrockSilver Gets Tonopah North #Lithium Results From Final 3 Drill Holes Earlier this morning Blackrock #Silver reported the results from the final 3 drill holes of their 11 drill hole program to test the lithium mineralization at their Tonopah North Project. Each drill hole showed lithium mineralization of over 1,000 ppm, and along with the previous drill holes, the results show greater levels of mineralization than what Blackrock found in its initial discovery late last year. This week the I am reading from John Russell's book 'A Knock in the Attic: True Ghost Stories & Other Spine-chilling Paranormal Adventures' and 'Devils Den: The Reckoning' by Terry Lovelace.John RussellWhen I was five years old I was awakened by an intrusive ghost who not only scared the wits out of me but who also opened up a portal that activated my psychic gifts and allowed a never-ending parade of paranormal manifestations to occur in my life.A Knock in the Attic is my story, not only about my psychic awakening and the abundance of mind-blowing otherworldly confrontations I've experienced, but also about the life lessons those many supernatural encounters have taught me. I've learned that our loved ones who have crossed over, as well as our beloved deceased pets, can give us convincing proofs that life continues after death, sometimes even returning to visit us...in the flesh!I've discovered that Guardian Angels are indeed real, having been protected from certain death many times by their loving and watchful power. I developed healing abilities that greatly benefitted others and yet left me confounded by my own incapability when it came to dealing with my serious personal health issues. I've seen bizarre doppelgängers; experienced continual ghostly activity of an unbelievable and incredible nature; had spirits steal things from me and also bring me gifts; and lived through many more circumstances that will boggle your mind and challenge your perceptions about the psychic and spiritual realms.I'll tell you what it was like to meet Uri Geller, to film a TV pilot for The History Channel, and give you a behind-the-scenes look at some paranormal investigations I conducted that revealed incredible facts. I will also describe my own "UFO encounter" at the Roswell UFO Museum. In spite of this exceedingly close contact with the realm of Spirit--or maybe because of it--somewhere along the way I lost my faith and gave up on myself, my psychic gifts, and the beings on the Other Side; but they didn't give up on me, and that's why I'm still here to tell you my story. Now I'm happy to share these amazing events with you, wishing that you will find inspiration, insight, encouragement, laughter, hope, and maybe even a renewed faith of your own. You may have more than a few spine-tingling moments as you join me to experience these astonishing true stories of the unknown.BioJohn Russell has been a professional psychic for 50 years. He is a Psychic/Psychic Reader, a Medium, a Certified T.A.R.O.T. By around age 12 he was conducting his own paranormal investigations and research. He began to give readings to friends and family in his early teens, and by the age of 18 he was reading professionally. In September of 2020 John released his first book, “Riding with Ghosts, Angels, and the Spirits of the Dead,” which has become an award-winning multicategory best seller, winning a Silver Award from the Non Fiction Authors Association as well as a Bronze Medal from the Readers' Favorite International Book Awards Contest. In February of 2021 John released his second book, “A Knock in the Attic,” which has also become an award-winning multicategory best seller, winning a Gold Award from the Non Fiction Authors Association.John continues to provide psychic readings for his worldwide clientele, conducts paranormal research and investigations, is heard worldwide as a featured guest on podcasts and radio.https://www.amazon.com/Knock-Attic-Spine-chilling-Paranormal-Adventures-ebook/dp/B08WM2MZHW/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1680254749&sr=8-1https://atdaylong.tripod.com/index.htmlTerry LovelaceFrom bestselling author Terry Lovelace, Esq, DEVILS DEN: THE RECKONING begins with candid memories from a lifetime or experiences with ETs. He recalls early childhood abductions and his interactions with a hybrid entity he called "Sue." THE RECKONING is all new facts, images and content never before shared with the public. It tells the true story of the sad decline and mysterious death of Tobias. It includes a chapter that had been excluded from "Incident at Devils Den ..." that tells the poignent story of Terry's cousin Gerald who endured his own childhood ET visitations and an eventual tragic outcome. Also, the true tale of Terry and his friend Ernest, who at eight years of age "borrowed" dad's handgun in an illconceived plan to shoot dead the ETs that terrified him in his room at night. Plus, recent revelations from Betty are disclosed and the December 8th "disclosure" from a retired Israeli general and academic, Haim Eshed, is discussed.THE RECKONING gives details and anectdotal evidence of an abduction from Terry's Dallas home on April 16, 2019 at 5:55 AM. Color photographs of UFOs taken near his home and satellite images of their 1977 campsite at Devild Den State Park in NW Arkansas are also included.THE RECKONING shares 30 short narratives presented as numbered "Cases" #1 through #30. These are stories distilled from 1,400+ emails submitted by readers of INCIDENT AT DEVILS DEN in the US, South Africa and Australia. Each narrative shares a unique and poignant telling of the reader's own encounter with the unknown. There are tales of screen memories and missing time, a stolen fetus, UFO sightings, mind control and alien abductions. Each story is told in the experiencer's words and vetted for veracity. Most are a compilation of many emails and telephone calls to establish the contributor's credibility. This is a collection of the best of the best from 1,400 stories shared by readers of "Incident at Devils Den ...." Below is a brief synopsis of the introduction to Case #1, "The Christmas Store," shared by a widowed retiree who goes by "Olivia."Dear Mr. Lovelace,My late husband Paul and I had an experience in March of 1968. I've never shared this story with anyone other than my sister and Paul's parents. I was a housewife and Paul was a nephrologist (a kidney doctor) who worked in private practice. We had friends in Reno, Nevada and about every month we'd make the drive from Vegas to Reno to share a weekend with friends. We always stopped in a little town called Tonopah about half-way to Reno. We'd stretch a bit, get fuel and have dinner. It was called "The Stagecoach." I believe it's still there. On this night we were three hours later than usual because Paul had been tied up at the hospital. After dinner and fuel we got back on the road about 9:00 PM and headed for Reno. About 10 miles out of town we were surprised to see a new store. It was a Christmas store. I had never before seen a store solely devoted to the holiday. The store appeared to be open as there was brilliant white light pouring out of the windows. The whole structure was draped in Christmas tree lights in assorted colors, some blinking and others not. I asked Paul to pull over. We were both mesmerized. He pulled onto the shoulder directly in front of the store. It sat back from the road a ways and the lights were incredible. It was odd. There was no parking lot! It was just sand and sagebrush. We saw no other cars, but someone was inside because we could see motion and movement through the windows. Paul noted there was no driveway for an entrance. I remarked, "Who would build a store without an egress or a parking lot?" We sat on the shoulder of the highway in front of the store for some minutes until Paul said, "This is a waste of time," and he pulled back onto the road. Because my husband worked so many hour we usual spent time during the drive to just chat and catch up on things. But not this night. This night was very different....BioTerry Lovelace is a six year veteran of the USAF where he served as a medic and EMT from 1973 to 1979. He has a bachelor's degree in psychology with honors from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed a law degree from Western Michigan and passed the Michigan State Bar Examination. He was also admitted to the bar in Vermont and the US Territory of American Samoa. His legal career began in private practice until his appointment as an assistant attorney general for the U.S. Territory of American Samoa, he also served as State's Attorney for Vermont Board of Medical Practice until his 2012 retirement. He and a friend were abducted from Devils Den State Park in NW Arkansas in June 1977 while remote camping. They were both on active duty at the time. What followed were 40+ years of nightmares, phobias, and PTSD-like issues which continue to this day. In 2012 a routine leg x-ray discovered two anomalous objects in his leg.
