Steak for Breakfast Podcast

We are wrapping up another news week with a big Friday edition of Steak for Breakfast. We're joined by a seated U.S. Congresswoman, have two America First interviews and are breaking down a ton of developing news stories.   Getting into the news, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has officially entered its theirs week. The fog or war is thick and we're now learning that the U.S. government may have been funding and operating bioweapon research labs inside of Ukraine. We break it down.   U.S. House Representative, Beth Can Duyne (TX-24) joins us for the first time today. We get a real perspective of the climate in D.C. at the moment, some of the things that the republicans are working for on behalf of the American people right now, and discuss the upcoming midterm elections.   Everyone get on the bus; it's the Omnibus and it's coming through. In one of the most wasteful pieces of legislation since the Covid Relief Bill we're taking a look at the budget for the rest of the year and giving our commentary on its specifics.   ER Nurse turned America First candidate running in NC-4, Courtney Geels is joining us for the first time today. She gives up a complete campaign update and gives some great insight on the pandemic.   The War on the Middle Class rages on and we are continuing to paint the narrative that is clearly becoming the focal point of the Biden Administration and the radical, progressive left.   For Navy Seal and business owner running for a U.S. House Seat in AZ-2, Eli Crane joins us for the first time today. We have a great discussion on the state of the nation and the how Special Operator veterans like himself add the massive serviceman turnout in the 2022 midterms.   Subscribe to the show, rate it and leave a review before you download, listen, like follow and SHARE Steak for Breakfast content!     Steak for Breakfast:   website: https://steakforbreakfastpodcast.com   linktree: https://linktr.ee/steakforbreakfastpodcast   MyPillow: Promo Code: STEAK at checkout • Website: https://www.mypillow.com/steak • Via the Phone: 800-658-8045 •   Beth Van Duyne• (Texas-24)•   Website: https://bethfortexas.com   Truth Social: @Bethvanduyne     Courtney Geels (NC-4) •   Website: https://courtneygeelsforcongress.com   Twitter: @CourtneyGeels     Eli Crane (AZ-2) •   Website: https://eliforarizona.com   Twitter: @EliCrane_CEO

With a strategy crafted by legislative politics mastermind Mitch McConnell, the GOP laid waste to House Democrats in 2010, picking up the Senate in 2014, and capturing the White House in 2016.As President Joe Biden signs the latest covid relief bill - the American Rescue Plan Act - the Republican Party is deploying that same strategy they used in 2010.But does it work in 2021? Because the latest polling shows that if it fails, the cost is much higher now: the death of the filibuster.Check out the New Website!www.thishistoric.comFollow the ShowInstagramTwitterFacebookFollow TyMediumTwitterA huge thanks to all of my Patrons for making this show happen! SenatorsDerek Lichtner, Abby Gibson, Joshua Covill, Brandon Suthard, Rebecca Wycoff, Dale Wycoff, Chris Krager, Stevie Covill, Jamie Cody-Ferguson, Aurora Darling, Ásta Bowen, Chelsea O'Hara, Steve HermesRepresentativesKyle Korsa, Matt Becker, Larissa Wycoff, Natali Kragh, Ally Nagel, Kailey Adams, Aly FriesenHave a question or a topic  you want covered? A source tells CNN that Democratic Senators have reached a deal to move forward with the Covid relief bill, agreeing to extend the enhanced unemployment insurance program through September 6 at $300 a week. In a 50-50 Senate with Vice President Kamala Harris as the tie-breaker, the Democrats can’t afford to lose even one vote. Democratic Sen. In Episode 25 behind the Secret Door, Alicia and Frances will continue their discussion about Biden's first 100 days in office. In this particular episode, they will be going over Biden's current plan to tackle COVID. Biden currently has a $1.9 trillion dollar relief proposal. In this proposal, a third stimulus check of $1,400 would go towards those who qualify. There is a cutoff for the amount of income made in order to receive the stimulus check in full, but this is to ensure that those who need the money will receive it. However, in this stimulus check adult dependents could potentially be eligible, unlike the previous two checks. The bill would also extend the unemployment benefit to $400 and last until the end of August. Biden also proposed paid sick leave to those who do not receive it from their employers. Alicia greatly appreciates the help Biden is trying to give to the unemployed and Frances agrees that help should be sent to those who do still need it. Thankfully, Frances has been lucky enough to where she feels she should not be given money and thinks it should go towards someone more deserving. However, at the end of the episode, Alicia did have some updates on her guilty pleasures. For Tik Tok, she recommends @yourpal_Austin for funny videos. She also had a preacher and teacher that she follows that talk about the current issues with the Bible. For the Bachelor nation, she is up in arms about the current lack of respect to the diversity by having the producers not allow Rachel to come forward with a statement of apology for her former actions. These actions include going to a plantation for a Southern Belle party; confederate flags and men dressed up as Confederate soldiers were present and pictured. The host of the Bachelor went on former Bachelorette Rachel's podcast and he dismissed her concerns. He is now in talks about potentially being replaced for his actions. Tune into the show to find out more about the potential of the COVID proposal, France's latest gardening, and the gender swapped Twilight book Alicia recommends.
