Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) being complicit in genocide. PLUS, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) told an interviewer that “our country should be more fearful of white men because they are causing most of the deaths in this country.” And Rep. While speaking with the press after the announcement, Trump revealed he is considering a 100% on foreign-made films. He reasoned: “our film industry has been decimated” by protectionist policies in other countries which have damaged Hollywood. 3:20pm- Henry, former associate producer of The Rich Zeoli Show, joins Rich and Matt in studio…but it's only for one day. Most importantly: does he still have the mullet? 3:30pm- Over the weekend, servers at the Barstool Sports bar in Philadelphia carried a sign bearing overtly anti-Semitic messaging. According to reports, at least one student from Temple University was involved. In response, Barstool founder Dave Portnoy fired the servers responsible and posted several videos vowing to punish everyone involved. 3:50pm- While appearing on a recent Semafor podcast, former Biden Administration Press Secretary Jen Psaki said she never witnessed any signs that former President Joe Biden suffered from cognitive decline prior to his infamous June presidential debate with Donald Trump. 4:05pm- While appearing on CNBC, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent insisted that after trade negotiations are completed, the United States economy will benefit from “frictionless trade” as well as the removal of “non-tariff trade barriers.” 4:10pm- On Sunday's Meet the Press, President Donald Trump sat down with host Kristen Welker. We're in the midst of a series on masculinity, so I had to weigh in on this one, and I looped in Producer Tim to get a Millennial male's take.  You've probably seen the clip of Jen Psaki interviewing Kamala Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff.  Psaki claimed Emhoff has, “reshaped the perception of masculinity.” Really? Psaki then called him a “wife guy.”  Okay . . .  And sure, maybe Doug Emhoff is a super sweet and supportive husband. That's great! But, there seemed to be a partisan subtext beneath this exchange. Watching the clip, I had the sense Psaki was insinuating only liberal men fully support their wives. I wanted to share my reaction to this clip and, Tim agreed to join me. Spoiler alert:  Over my 27 years of dating, I've had relationships with both very liberal and very conservative men. I married a conservative. And no one has ever cherished, respected, and adored me more than my conservative husband. So personally, I'm not picking up what Psaki is laying down. And she – and perhaps the CHAIRMAN of NBC News as well - were reportedly willing to throw MSNBC under the bus - specifically, willing to throw its ex-Biden-Press-Secretary, now budding star Jen Psaki, under the bus, and throw Chuck Todd under the bus, in hopes of saving Ronna McDaniel. Puck News is reporting that after Ronna McDaniel debuted on “Meet The Press” on Sunday and after Kristen Welker told the audience she had no say in McDaniel's hiring and after Chuck Todd attacked the hiring, NBC News Chairman Cesar Conde and Vice President Carrie Budoff Brown were unnerved, but both quote “seemed to anticipate the impending insurgency and frantically tried to pre-empt it. On Sunday, Budoff Brown reached out to McDaniel's aide and former chief of staff at the RNC Richard Walters, to see if there were any friends or colleagues who could speak up on her BEHALF. The two sides also discussed having those folks call attention to what they saw as a double standard – after all this was the same network that was turning Psaki… into a Maddow-adjacent prime time star. Walters later assured Budoff Brown that they'd been able to advance conservative pushback on social media against (Chuck) Todd, specifically, and that this might give NBC News some cover, for which Budoff Brown thanked him,” unquote.
