You didn't think we would let Horrorfest come and go without some Star Wars flavoring did you? Well we've got some Stormtroopers Zombies for you to learn about!
Death Troopers is a Star Wars Legends novel from horror author Joe Schreiber, that tells the story of an Imperial prison barge, that breaks down. Its only hope seems to lie with a Star Destroyer found drifting, seemingly abandoned. But when a boarding party is sent to scavenge for parts, only half of them come back, bringing with them a horrific disease so lethal that within hours, nearly all aboard will die in ways too hideous to imagine. We have reached the finale of Ahsoka with Part 8 "The Jedi, The Witch and The Warlord". John, Chris and Derek go in full spoiler filled detail about the episode.Ahsoka Part 8 "The Jedi, The Witch and The Warlord" SynopsisExecutive Producers - Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson and Carrie BeckHead Writer: Dave FiloniPart 8 Written by: Dave FiloniPart 8 Directed by: Rick FamuyiwaWith the cargo loaded onto the Chimaera, Grand Admiral Thrawn orders the Eye of Sion to connect with his Stardestroyer to prepare for the return to a galaxy far far away. Elsbeth is rewarded with the Gift of Shadows by the great Mothers and is given the manifested Blade of Talzin to confront the Jedi, Meanwhile, Ahsoka, Ezra and Sabine make their way to the Nightsisters temple to try and stop Thrawn's escape and Ezra Bridger constructs a new lightsaber using spare parts from his late master, Kanan Jarrus. On route they are attacked by two TIE fighters that knock out Ahsoka's ship. While Huyang and the Noti repair the ship, Ahsoka, Sabine and Ezra make their way to the Chimaera on the back of two Howlers, which has now docked with the Eye of Sion.Making their way inside the temple they are confronted by Elsbeth and the Night Troopers, whom the Great Mothers keep resurrecting after they are killed. As Ahsoka fights Elsbeth, Sabine and Ezra continue on to try and stop Thrawn. After dispatching literally two Death Troopers, Sabine uses the Force to help Ezra jump onto the Chimaera. She heads back, leaving Ezra aboard the Chimaera, to support Ahsoka attacking the remaining Night Troopers, while Ahsoka kills Elsbeth. In a last ditch attempt to stop Thrawn they chase after the Chimaera in the repaired shuttle, but are too late as the Eye of Sion jumps to hyperspace, leaving Ahsoka, Sabine, and Huyang stranded on Peridea. As Thrawn and the Great Mothers arrive over Dathomir to unload the ship's cargo, Ezra escapes and reunites with Syndulla and Chopper. Ahsoka, Sabine, and Huyang join the Noti and make their new home on Peridea, watched over by Anakin's spirit. Elsewhere on Peridea, Shin Hati joins the bandits, while Baylan Skoll is guided to a mountain by a statue of the Mortis Gods as he seeks his new power.Star Wars Ahsoka Cast Part 6Ashoka Tano played by Rosario DawsonSabine Wren played by Natasha Liu BordizzoBaylan Skoll played by Ray StevensonGeneral Hera Syndulla played by Mary Elizabeth WinsteadShin Hati played by Ivanna SakhnoLady Morgan Elsbeth played by Diana Lee InosantoHuyang voiced by David TennantGrand Admiral Thrawn played by Lars MikkelsenEzra Bridger played by Eman EsfandiA Return to a Galaxy Far Far AwayWe will discuss:- Our Top 3 Points (or Saber Points) of the episode- Notes, Quotes and referencesThe Ahsoka Cantina QuizDuring each podcast we'll ask a question about each episode in our Ahsoka Cantina Quiz. Erin, Brennan, and Matt reunite to tackle the most highly anticipated review, Mandalorian Season 2. What are they, who are they, why are they, and so much more! We learn that Star Wars needs to focus group some new names: Grogu or Goku, Death Troopers, Dark Troopers, Dark Sabers, Dark Wizards, we get it! It's Dark! You need to pay your energy bills! We meet up again with Mando a.k.a Din Jaris a.k.a. Brown Eyes, in his quest to reunite The Child (Grogu) with a Jedi Master. Along the way Brennan has a serious "hot damn!" Boba Fett reaction, while Erin gets a little hot and flustered with Fennec Shand back from the dead. From "Hero of China" to "Best Sharpshooter in the Outer Rim", it's clear that this series has some dope characters in its arsenal. With additional appearances from Starbuck, #MarkHamillListenToOurPodcast, Chief Tui from Moana, and Rosario Dawson, season 2 has a higher impact than the first. WHY WON'T CRAIG LEAVE!!!
