In the 20th episode of FTMonthly Josh tackles cultural issues on both the left and right. The truth, is its own side, is that third wayism? Josh says no and analyzes a debate with Randal Rouser, The "woke right" and what to make of a sword ban in the UK and a troubling sermon from a Lutheran pastor about Jesus needing to "expand his goodness?" Hey you Team Edward and Team Jacob girlies! Ready for us to drag your favorite movie series again? Jackie and Kyle are tired of many things this week, namely low quality alcoholic water and ads on YouTube, respectively. Honorable mentions on the shit list include Burger King getting drinks wrong, the weather, acid reflux, Cheaters (the show), and providing children with alcohol (well…maybe we're OK with that one). In providing their very critical and completely professional review of Twilight: Eclipse, Jackie and Kyle dive into important topics such as red flags in vampires AND werewolves, Bella being a flop (still), vampires and haircuts, Bryce Dallas Howard, vampires and racism, sex dynamics between vampires, and wigs (still). Jackie and Kyle also find out which extremely odd moment they are through the magic of Buzzfeed quizzes. Don't forget to connect with your two tired therapists through e-mail (twotiredtherapists@gmail.com), Instagram (@twotiredtherapists), and Facebook (Two Tired Therapists). Leave us a review and we might read it in future episodes (good and bad reviews welcome). “Apparently he's from the era of the Duggers. I know he's from 19-whatever but Jesus Christ you're in the 21st century you old bitch.” -Jackie

This week we tackle an issue near and dear to our hearts: self-care. We are big fans of it, and wanted to share tips for how you can take care of yourselves! As women and mothers, we are often running in 50 different directions, managing a tiny corporation (or big if you are the Duggers) known as our families. We are burning the candle at both ends, ladies! How do take care of our loved ones and our lives and still take care of ourselves? Well, we have some suggestions for ya that will help you rejuvenate yourself in little and big ways.

The ladies have roped John in to helping them record cause Lisa is under tbe weather. Sam jokes that its the 'corona' but its not Lisa had skin graft surgery a few days before and the show must go on! Daylight savings time has helped out TV watching for the ladies but messed up when Sam talks to John! Ugh!! Lisa hates change and feels the girl guide cookies she got last year were less lardy?! She is loving the cookie idea and asks what are Sam's top three cookies. Sam's last choice makes her wonder if she isn't a Gibson! There is a true story alert from Lisa that has her boasting about her cooking skills, again! Sam isn't sure how talking about the Sister Wives and the Duggers leads Lisa to think about space. She thinks the international space station is a hotel for astronauts. Yup, she doesn't get it and a bizarre conversation ensues. Sam eventually steers Lisa to chat about shrimp, pasta with the HHG, expandable zippers, wheelchairs and Mike, Easter Advent calendars, Dolly Patron, Wendy Williams, Krispy Kremes, Irish Stew, pickle trays, sea salt, instant coffee, T. Swift, Katy Perry and expensive weddings! Sam realizes as they talk about hoarding points how many cards she has and Lisa has none! What's a girl to do! It's just a bit of ridiculous chatter but it might just make you laugh! If you love what you hear, you can support the podcast by following the links below! Episode #41 of the Graham Avenue Podcast
For months now we have watched stories unfold publicly about rape. Bill Cosby, The Duggers, Seventh Heaven. What can we do to be a part of the solution and not the problem? Does the way the media portrays rape, victims/survivors, and perpetrators make a difference in how we view rape?
Part Three of a Three Part Series - Jinxes, Hexes, and Curses Today we talk about curses! I have a hard time pronouncing foreign names...or just words in general. I don't like the Duggers. Rain likes Cody from Sister Wives. We forgot to pick the offspring up from school. She had to walk home (Its not far) and you can hear the betrayal she felt when she comes in. oh and there are some scamming witches on the internet, beware.

This week the Ugs bring their own brand of fireworks with an explosive array of funny life topics ranging from bee squishing and edible adventures to birthday plans and summer TV. Cass Midgley features two guests: a return visit with author Jeff Bates on his new book, "Zombies R A Problem." And our second guest is the sister of our guest from episode 147, Josey, the eldest of 12 home-schooled kids, well this is Hannah, the next born who preceded Josey in leaving the house and leaving Christianity and she's quite a strong personality and gets very vulnerable in this talk. We don't use their last name but it almost could be the Duggers, except these two broke out. These are two 45 minute interviews and unfortunately both are without my co-host Dr. Bob because he was out town on summer vacation for both. We taped the conversation with Jeff on May 7th, 2017 and the talk with Hannah on June 3rd. We interview people you don’t know, about a subject no one wants to talk about. We hope to encourage people in the process of deconstructing their faith and help curb the loneliness that accompanies it. We think the world is a better place when more people live by sight, not by faith. Please subscribe to our podcast, and leave a review wherever you listen to podcasts. Lots of laughs with the Youtube guru of evolutionary biology, Aron Ra. From fun with the Duggers to Aron's wild, misspent youth.

Evening from Edinburgh Roifield and Lucy were joined by Sarah Douglas “Duggers” this week. Kenton’s damp nether regions were re-examined and they also made it into tweet of the week. Duggers loves the Rob storylines and regards him as her favourite character, although no-one (especially Blithe Spirit) understands the current lack of calves or Jazzer. (Roifield – “Les Revenants” is well worth watching and rarely makes sense). Maeve is better and back with us. Lucy gave voice to the way she derives pleasure from TA, Tilling and Blandings, whilst Roifield enjoys particular graphic comic book depiction of Super heroes. Dealing with aged parents is not easy – we struggled over long periods and therefore I would offer much sympathy to Ruth over Heatherpet; I am less certain that it is a plot device and more an attempt to reflect the real difficulties which can be encountered. Jo Jo Sexy Heels is back as well – she anticipates that Hazel will... See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Plus, Jamie has a close encounter with a chihuahua while making her mammogram appointment and Paula discovers another horrible reality TV show. Of course, that leads to a discussion about polygamy and the Duggars... of course. Enjoy and share the show today and thanks for listening as always!
In an undisclosed location, Jeff and Lanna have a thoughtful conversation about spirituality, Christianity and Science Fiction. They kibitz about fundamentalism, atheism, and the Duggers and geek out over Doctor Who and Kevin Smith’s movie Dogma. Jeff talks about his writing career (journalism, non-fiction) and passions (sci-fi and fantasy). And he answers 10 questions. Jeff […]
