We're diving into Day 3 of our epic Disneyland adventure—and this one's all about next-level snacks, classic attractions, and one magical nightcap. We kick things off over at Disney California Adventure with an Impossible™ Breakfast Sha-Warm-Up from Shawarma Palace (plant-based goodness wrapped in flavor), plus a super cool Captain America Shield Sipper. The morning rides include a hot take on Mission: BREAKOUT!—featuring “Give Up the Funk”—and WEB SLINGERS, followed by some Disney classic ride charm with The Little Mermaid and Toy Story Midway Mania. Then it's snack time, and we don't hold back! We cover everything from Baja Breeze seltzers and all-beef hot dogs to standout festival eats like Smoked Hawaiian Pizza, Dole Whip Cheesecake, Garlic Cream Cheese Bread, and a Watermelon Cucumber Mojito. We also dig into lemon pepper wings, birria mac & cheese, and the creative California Wine Cocktail. And of course, we couldn't skip the Mickey-shaped SNICKERS macaron. From there, it's off to Toontown for Runaway Railway, and a quick bite from Maurice's Treats before taking a well-earned break. Then Rhonda and I jump into a classic attraction tour: Adventureland Treehouse, Haunted Mansion, Pinocchio, Snow White, Storybook Land Canal Boats, and Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin.Later, we unwind with drinks at the Broken Spell Lounge and then head to the Craftsman Bar for an unforgettable setting and experience including a inventive mocktails, Sticky Chicken Wings, and a the Charcuterie Pizza. We finish the night with Alice, Mad Tea Party, fireworks viewed from Galaxy's Edge, drinks at Oga's Cantina, a thrilling ride on Big Thunder, the always-amazing Fantasmic!, and Pirates of the Caribbean. This was one packed day—and we're breaking it all down, one bite, ride, and story at a time. We're excited to introduce Balanced Weather — your go-to source for smart, reliable weather updates tailored for Walt Disney World and all of Central Florida.CEO Alan Gerard, a meteorologist and lifelong Disney fan, has been providing weekly weather reports to the Main Street Magic community for years and will now be bringing you weekly forecasts, plus answers to your questions about weather for your upcoming Disney, Universal, or Florida vacation.Visit balancedweather.com/wdw-weather to learn more and get the latest updates.MEI-Travel – Expertise. Summary In this episode, Becca and Toni discuss their experiences at the 2025 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. They share their thoughts on the festival's menu, the balance between food and wine offerings, and their personal favorites and disappointments from the event. The conversation also includes tips for attendees and reflections on how this year's festival compares to previous ones. Takeaways The festival leaned more towards wine than food this year. Many food booths offered fewer items than in previous years. Some attendees did not deem the Sip and Savor Pass worth it. The California Punch was a standout beverage choice. Lemon Pepper Wings received positive feedback for flavor. The pineapple and coconut cheesecake was a highlight for many. Some food items were disappointing and lacked flavor. The festival felt crowded, impacting the overall experience. Ordering food ahead can save time, but check date restrictions. This year's festival was considered less exciting than previous years. The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is a popular annual event at Walt Disney World that is a celebration of everything to do with food and drink. From food sampling stations, to wine tasting, instructional kitchens and more, there is something for everyone who enjoys celebrating food and wine (and other beverages as well). If You're Attending the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Should You Dress Up?Unlike Disney events such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the EPCOT festivals aren't events that many people consider as dressing-up occasions. But there are many guests who do like to dress for the occasion and if you enjoy styling outfits for events that you attend, then the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is a perfect place to put a little thought into your outfit. So should you dress up? We say yes, at least in terms of putting a little thought into styling your outfit with a hint of food and wine fest flair. What Should You Wear to the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival? For the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, it's not so much about dressing up as it is picking the perfect outfit. It's styling your outfit versus wearing a costume.Getting into the food and wine vibe is a great place to start. What you wear could be anything from graphic tees or print shirts that have food and wine theming, to something that you might wear to a vineyard for a wine tasting. Most guests do not dress up, so you might not want to go too far with your outfit. After all, you will be walking around a fair bit in Florida heat and humidity, so it's wise to balance style with functionality. Personally, we believe that the Food and Wine Festival would be elevated if more guests did put a little more effort in their personal style when visiting the event. Plus, it makes it more fun and immersive for all attendees when the theming is extended to the attendees. What do you think?Thank You for Listening to the Disney Travel Style PodcastThank you very much for listening to this episode, we that you enjoyed it.
