We're recapping a packed Disney trip that took us from Blizzard Beach to EPCOT, from a one-night resort stay to Banana Ball, and finally to Disney's Animal Kingdom for breakfast, snacks, shopping, and Disney's new Bluey experience. We kick things off at Blizzard Beach, where we cool down with some water park fun, try a couple of sweet treats including the S'mores Churro, and even run into a listener along the way. From there, we head to EPCOT to check out the limited-time Annual Passholder Lounge inside Restaurant Marrakesh and share whether this summer perk is worth making time for. Next, we check into the Meliá Orlando Celebration for a one-night stay before heading to ESPN Wide World of Sports to experience Banana Ball. We'll discuss the atmosphere, entertainment, and whether this unique event lives up to the hype. On Saturday, we make our way to Disney's Animal Kingdom for breakfast at Satu'li Canteen, check out some new merchandise, sample snacks from Isle of Java and Pizzafari, and join the virtual queue for Disney's newest Bluey experience. Along the way, we highlight our favorite moments, biggest surprises, best values, and the experiences we'd most recommend. Whether you're planning a Walt Disney World vacation or just love hearing about what's new around the parks, this episode is packed with reviews, tips, and plenty of Disney fun.

We're putting two of Walt Disney World's most beloved Deluxe Resorts head-to-head as Disney's Yacht Club Resort takes on Disney's Beach Club Resort. These sister resorts may share Stormalong Bay and a prime Crescent Lake location, but they offer two very different vacation vibes — and we're breaking it all down to decide which one comes out on top. We compare Yacht Club's refined nautical elegance and quieter, more adult-leaning atmosphere against Beach Club's bright, beachy energy and family-friendly charm. From theming and room comfort to dining, transportation, recreation, and overall value, each resort battles it out round by round in classic Resort Wars fashion. We also discuss fan-favorite dining locations like Yachtsman Steakhouse, Ale & Compass, Cape May Cafe, and Beaches & Cream, plus the unbeatable walkability to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios that makes this resort area one of the best on property. If you're trying to decide which resort is best for your next Walt Disney World vacation — whether you're planning an adults-only getaway, family trip, festival weekend, or pool-focused staycation — this episode should help you decide which side of Crescent Lake deserves your vote.

We're recapping a wild Walt Disney World weekend that included car camping at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, trying out Lightning Lane Multi Pass over two full park days, eating our way around property, and finally getting to experience newly reopened attractions like Rock ‘n' Roller Coaster, Smuggler's Run, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Ranger Spin, and Soarin. We'll talk about the realities of Disney car camping, including setup, comfort, requesting the perfect campsite near the comfort station, nighttime campground vibes, and whether we'd actually do it again. Along the way, we packed in a ton of attractions across Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios, including Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, TRON, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and more. Of course, there's also plenty of food discussion, including breakfast at Steakhouse 71, drinks and snacks at The Beak and Barrel, flatbreads at Baseline Tap House, dinner at Trail's End Restaurant, and an impromptu brunch stop at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' before heading home. We'll break down what worked, what didn't, and whether this entire Disney weekend adventure was truly worth it. Watch our car camping "room" tour here!
We break down our lunch buffet experience, from the atmosphere and character interactions to the food quality, variety, desserts, service, and overall value at Hollywood and Vine inside Disney's Hollywood Studios. We'll talk about what stood out, what fell flat, and whether Hollywood & Vine deserves its often mixed reputation among Walt Disney World fans. We also discuss the current pricing, which comes in at $64 per adult and $44 per child (ages 3–9), plus tax and gratuity, and whether we think it's worth paying full price. Luckily, we were able to take advantage of the current 40% off Annual Passholder dining discount, which definitely impacted the overall value conversation. If you've been debating whether Hollywood & Vine is worth booking for your next trip, especially with character dining prices continuing to rise, this episode should help you decide if this buffet is a hidden gem, a one-and-done experience, or somewhere in between.

Between graduation week, home renovations, audio issues, nonstop schedules, and Facebook accounts getting hacked — which also impacted parts of the Main Street Magic community — life has officially gotten VERY lifey around here. In this honest and unfiltered update, we share what's been going on behind the scenes, why we're temporarily pausing episodes, what happened with the Facebook hack, and what's next for Main Street Magic moving forward. We also talk about the importance of building community outside of social media, why we're asking everyone to join our email list at MainStMagic.com, and some exciting Disney plans we still have coming up including camping at Fort Wilderness, Hollywood & Vine, Muppets taking over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Big Thunder Mountain reopening, new food reviews, and more. Most importantly, this episode is a reminder that sometimes life piles up all at once — and sometimes you just have to take the “next play” and keep moving forward. Thank you all for the support, patience, messages, and kindness over the past few days. We appreciate this community more than you know.

We're checking into a brand-new game of Disney Truth or Dare: Resort Edition—where the hot takes are strong, the choices are painful, and absolutely no Walt Disney World hotel is safe. After tackling the parks, it was time to turn our attention to the resorts—and things got surprisingly intense. From impossible monorail resort eliminations and brutally honest opinions about overrated hotels, to debates over the best lobby smell, transportation system, pool, and nighttime atmosphere, we put each other on the spot with random Truth or Dare questions pulled straight from the hats. The rules are simple: pick Truth or Dare, draw a random prompt, and answer honestly. No skipping, no changing your answer halfway through, and no hiding behind “well, it depends.” That means some strong opinions were shared… and some may upset even the most loyal Disney resort fans. Over the course of the episode, we each answered 10 randomly selected questions, and along the way, there were plenty of laughs, a few moments of genuine shock, and at least a couple answers that immediately sparked debate. Whether you're loyal to the monorail loop, obsessed with Crescent Lake, love the Skyliner resorts, or proudly defend Port Orleans French Quarter with your whole heart, this episode is packed with fun Disney resort discussions that every Walt Disney World fan can jump into. So grab your favorite lobby scent, settle into your favorite resort chair, and play along with us as Disney Truth or Dare heads to the hotels!

If you're wondering what's actually worth your time onboard, this is the episode for you. We break down Disney Cruise Line's newest entertainment offerings, including our full thoughts on Hercules, Frozen: A Musical Spectacular, and Seas the Adventure, discussing everything from the live vocals and special effects and emotional moments that make Disney cruise entertainment so unique. Beyond the theater, we explore the ship's bars and lounges including De Vil's Piano Lounge, the mysterious Sanctum Lounge, the Haunted Mansion Parlor, and the pirate-inspired Cask and Cannon. Of course, Disney cruises are about more than stage shows and lounges, so we also cover Pirate Night, Sail Away celebrations, trivia, Match Your Mate, live music, character encounters, Funnel Vision movies, and all the little entertainment moments that help bring the ship to life throughout the sailing. And finally, we head ashore to Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point to discuss the beaches, food, entertainment, cultural influences, layout, and how it compares to Castaway Cay, and our thoughts may surprise you! Whether you're sailing on the Disney Destiny soon or just love hearing about all things Disney Cruise Line, this episode is packed with honest opinions, laughs, tips, and plenty of Disney magic.

From smoky barbecue on the pool deck to elegant multi-course meals in one of the most upscale restaurant Disney Cruise Line has ever created, we're breaking down every single dining experience aboard the brand-new Disney Destiny. On this episode, we cover it all — the hits, the surprises, the snacks, the desserts, the late-night bites, and yes… even the meals that didn't quite live up to the hype. We dive deep into the rotational dining experiences including Worlds of Marvel, Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, and 1923, sharing our favorite dishes, standout desserts, and zero-proof drinks, and which restaurants truly delivered the full Disney magic. Along the way, we talk quick service favorites at Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods, the buffet offerings at Marceline Market, coffee shops and sweet treats around the ship, room service, and more. And then there's Enchanté. Going into this sailing, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement was one of the experiences we were most excited for. With its luxurious Beauty and the Beast-inspired atmosphere and premium price point, expectations were sky high. But did it actually deliver? Let's just say… we had thoughts. Honest ones. Some dishes impressed us, others left us the opposite of impressed, and the overall experience sparked one of the most candid conversations we've ever had on the podcast. This episode is packed with detailed food reviews, plenty of laughs, unexpected opinions, and the kind of honest conversation that we think helps listeners know what's truly worth their time and money aboard the Disney Destiny. Whether you're sailing soon or just dreaming about your next cruise, come hungry for this one.

This is a quick bonus update episode to keep you in the loop—and let you know why there's no regular episode today. We originally planned to record a full Disney Cruise tips and tricks episode while onboard the Disney Destiny… but once we got there, we made a different call. Instead of recording, we chose to step back, be present, and fully enjoy the experience—something we're always encouraging you to do on your own trips. But don't worry—we've got a ton of amazing content coming your way. We're breaking our Disney Destiny experience into three full episodes: Episode 868 (May 1): Tips, tricks, and everything you need to know about the Disney Destiny Episode 869 (May 5): A full deep dive into all the food—from Worlds of Marvel and Pride Lands to 1923, Festival of Foods, Marceline Market, plus Palo and Enchanté Episode 870 (May 8): Entertainment, including what might be our new favorite show ever on a Disney ship… and also Hercules And that's just the beginning. We've got more fun episodes on the way, including the return of Truth or Dare, a brand-new Resort Wars (winners vs. winners), and a recap of our upcoming camping adventure. Plus, we're revamping MainStreetShirts.com with new designs and monthly drops, developing a Disney Roulette Card Game, and bringing back Wonderland Crew on June 1st—with exclusive content, live shows, meetups, and more. Make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss any of it!

We're diving into the biggest mistakes people make while they're actually in the parks—and how to avoid turning a great trip into a stressful one. From poor pacing and trying to go nonstop from rope drop to park close, to skipping breaks and burning out halfway through your vacation, we're sharing the real-time decisions that can impact your entire experience. We'll also talk about common missteps with Lightning Lane strategy, waiting in lines that aren't worth it, and why mobile ordering too late can leave you hungry and frustrated. Plus, we're getting into mindset mistakes—like letting one bad moment ruin your day or sticking too rigidly to a plan when things inevitably change. Disney trips aren't about perfection—they're about flexibility, balance, and making the most of the moments that matter. We'll share practical tips, personal stories, and simple adjustments you can make in real time to stay ahead of the chaos and actually enjoy your vacation. If you want to spend less time stressed and more time making memories, this episode is a must-listen.
We're breaking down the biggest Disney planning mistakes people make before their vacation, and more importantly, how to avoid them. From trying to do too much and overpacking your schedule to booking the wrong resort for your travel style, we've made plenty of these mistakes ourselves—and we're sharing real experiences so you don't have to learn the hard way. We'll talk about why understanding transportation options like the Skyliner, Monorail, and buses can completely change your trip, and how not having a clear park strategy can lead to wasted time and missed experiences. We're also diving into common missteps like ignoring crowd calendars, underestimating your budget, and copying someone else's itinerary without considering your own group's needs. And yes—we're leaning into one of the biggest missed opportunities out there: not using a travel advisor. From dining alerts and resort recommendations to helping you build a smarter plan, having expert guidance can make a huge difference. Whether this is your first trip or your fifteenth, this episode is packed with practical tips, honest lessons, and strategies to help you plan smarter, stress less, and set yourself up for an incredible Disney vacation.

We're wrapping up our latest listener Q&A with Part 37 of the Main Street Magic Mailbag—your go-to guide for smarter Disney planning, better resort choices, and can't-miss dining picks. We kick things off with a quick recap of our Final Four weekend in Indianapolis—a little basketball, a lot of fun, and plenty of memories. Then we dive straight into your questions to help you plan your next Walt Disney World vacation with confidence. From first-timers planning MVMCP to navigating Hollywood Studios for the first time, we're breaking down ideal park strategies, where to stay on a mid-range budget, and how to make the most of a short trip. Traveling with a big group? We've got tips for managing 10+ people without losing your sanity. Bringing toddlers, infants, or grandparents? We're covering scooters, naps, heat, and realistic expectations. We also tackle resort decisions—whether transportation options like the Skyliner or Monorail matter more than amenities—and dream up new resort ideas and transportation expansions. And of course, we're talking food—our favorite quick service spots in each park, Hollywood Studios dining strategies, adult night-out recommendations, best burgers, and even the ultimate Starbucks location debate. If you're planning a trip (or just dreaming about one), this episode is packed with practical tips, honest opinions, and plenty of Disney debate.

We're bringing the heat with March Magic 2026 with our Walt Disney World Quick Service Bracket Showdown! We've built out four stacked divisions—two Resort divisions, plus a Kingdom division (Magic Kingdom vs. Animal Kingdom) and an EPCOT vs. Hollywood Studios showdown—and now it's time to debate, defend, and crown a champion. From fan-favorite spots like Primo Piatto, Capt. Cook's, and Satu'li Canteen to classic go-tos like Casey's Corner, Connections Eatery, and Sunshine Seasons, no quick service location is safe as they go head-to-head in bracket-style matchups. We're talking food quality, menu variety, value, theming, convenience, and those underrated sleeper picks that deserve way more love. We're continuing our listener Q&A mailbag with Part 36, and this one is all about opinions, debates, and some seriously fun Disney what-ifs. We kick things off in the parks, helping tackle Hollywood Studios for those who aren't fully sold on it, and sharing some of our favorite ways to enjoy it beyond the obvious headliners. From there, we get into some tough choices—like picking just one land in each park, dreaming up the perfect Disney date night, and even adding a brand new country to EPCOT. We also take a look back and ask which attraction openings we'd love to experience for the first time again, and what Disney policy we'd change if we had the power. Plus, we dive into a big-picture question: what truly are the best things to do at Walt Disney World, even if they're not rides? Then it's time to have some fun with Imagineering-style questions—creating our ideal Disney day using only extinct attractions, coming up with ways to pixie dust other guests, and designing new pre-shows. We even step into the roles of CEO and cast member for a day to see what we'd change (or where we'd work). We wrap things up with a relatable park pet peeve, how to handle it, and a tough “would you rather” that pits food against rides. This episode is full of energy, opinions, and plenty of moments where you'll either be nodding along… or strongly disagreeing.
We're kicking off Part 35 of our listener Q&A mailbag, and this one is all about connection—diving into your thoughtful, fun, and sometimes deeply personal questions that go beyond just rides and restaurants. We start by talking cruises, comparing Disney Cruise Line to other options and whether the price tag is truly worth it, plus dreaming up new itineraries we'd love to see. From there, we branch out into other theme parks around the world that are on our bucket list. The heart of this episode comes from your deeper questions—how our relationship with Disney has evolved over the years, what continues to bring us joy, and how we keep the magic alive even as life changes. We also open up about friendships, the podcast journey, and even some behind-the-scenes details you may not know, including our theme song and a few personal favorites from everyday life. We get real as we talk about tough park moments, trips we wish we could redo, and helpful tips for things like managing motion sickness on longer Disney stays. And of course, we wrap things up with some fun and opinions, including what we think is underrated, overrated, and perfectly rated around Walt Disney World. Finally, we close with a big-picture question—what our perfect Disney day looks like from start to finish. This is a fun, honest, and heartfelt episode that reminds us why this community means so much to us.

We're taking to the Skyliner loop to rank the best restaurants across Disney's Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, and the BoardWalk area — and we're doing it all live as we record. With no set rankings ahead of time, each location goes head-to-head in real time as we build our list from the ground up. From signature dining like Topolino's Terrace and Yachtsman Steakhouse to fan-favorite lounges like Crew's Cup and Banana Cabana, we debate food quality, atmosphere, value, and overall experience to determine what truly stands out. Along the way, we uncover some surprising placements, revisit a few underrated gems, and probably make a couple of controversial calls that listeners won't all agree with. That's part of the fun. Whether you're planning your next Disney trip or just love a good ranking showdown, this episode will give you a fresh perspective on some of the best places to eat and drink along the Skyliner route. Let us know where you agree, where you disagree, and what you would put at number one.
We're continuing our March Magic 2026 series as we shift from rides to resorts and build the ultimate Walt Disney World Resort Bracket. We've ranked and seeded 24 resorts from across property — including Deluxe, Moderate, Value, and even Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve — to determine which one truly deserves the crown. Using a mix of guest ratings, along with our own experiences, we evaluate each resort based on theming, amenities, dining options, location, transportation, and overall guest satisfaction. From iconic favorites like Polynesian Village Resort, Wilderness Lodge, and Beach Club, to fan-favorite values like Pop Century and Art of Animation, every resort earns its place in the tournament. We break down the full 1–24 seeding, highlight which resorts earned a first-round bye, and set up some very interesting opening matchups — including value vs deluxe battles, sleeper picks, and a few potential upsets that could shake up the bracket early. Along the way, we debate controversial rankings, question whether location outweighs theming, and discuss which resorts we think have the best chance to make a deep run. Which Walt Disney World resort is truly the best? Which ones are overrated, underrated, or primed for an upset? Let the madness continue! Download the bracket
We're recapping a fun, fast-paced weekend at Walt Disney World that was packed with great food, live music, and plenty of memorable moments along the way. From Garden Rocks dining packages to multiple Blue October concerts, this trip had a little bit of everything—and we're breaking it all down for you. We'll share our experience staying at Disney's All-Star Music Resort, including what we liked and how it fit into a quick weekend getaway. Over at EPCOT, we dive into the Garden Rocks dining package at Le Creperie, plus a walk-up experience at Regal Eagle and how the process seems to be evolving. Along the way, we try several festival items like the lemon bolle in Norway and a lemon macaron, and even grab a matcha drink from Joffrey's to mix things up. Beyond the food and music, this trip was full of fun interactions—running into friends, navigating some chaotic transportation moments, and taking in those classic Magic Kingdom vibes with coffee, Gaston's, and a stroll toward the castle. Whether you're planning to visit during the Flower & Garden Festival or just want a real-time look at how these dining packages and concerts work, this episode is full of tips, honest reviews, and a lot of laughs along the way.

We take on the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival with a fun challenge inspired by our friend Jon Self. Jon recently shared his list of what he considers the best and worst dishes at this year's festival, and instead of just reading his thoughts… we decided to put them to the test ourselves. Here's the twist: we grabbed all eight items from Jon's list and set out around EPCOT to try every single one of them — without knowing which dishes he loved and which ones he thought were the worst. That means every reaction you hear is completely honest and happening in real time. As we make our way from booth to booth, we taste each dish live and share our immediate thoughts on everything from flavor and presentation to portion size and more. Along the way we talk about which dishes surprised us, which ones didn't quite live up to the hype, and which ones we'd absolutely order again on our next visit. If you're planning a trip to the Flower & Garden Festival, this episode should give you a great idea of which dishes might be worth your time and which ones you may want to skip. And of course, as always, we have plenty of fun (and a few laughs) along the way.
We're recapping a quick Florida weekend that packed in a little bit of everything — live music, Disney Springs dining, dessert experiments, and even a quick outlet stop. The trip kicked off in Jacksonville seeing Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October live at FIVE before heading down to Orlando for a stay at the Drury Inn near Disney Springs. From there, we turned the weekend into a mini Disney Springs food crawl with stops at Pizza Ponte, where we tried the Bun Giorno garlic-cheese pinwheel and the Il Gladiatore pizza, followed by a visit to Salt & Straw to sample several of their wild cereal-inspired ice cream flavors. After another Justin Furstenfeld show at the House of Blues, we wrapped the night with a late dinner at Chicken Guy, trying the five-tender combo with sauces like Chipotle Ranch and Garlic Parmesan. Along the way we share our thoughts on the food, the concert experience, staying at the Drury Inn, and a quick stop at the Vineland outlets before heading home. It's a fun, casual recap episode full of food, music, and a little Disney Springs chaos. Jeremy recently released his new book Still Loud, Now Clear, a music-inspired memoir about sobriety, rebuilding life, and finding clarity after years of chaos. If you've ever felt overwhelmed, stuck, or like you were the only one struggling, this book is a reminder that you're not alone—and that a better soundtrack is possible. We kick off our annual March Madness bracket challenges with a Walt Disney World ride tournament as we rank and seed eight attractions in each of the four parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom — to build the ultimate 32-ride bracket. Using factors like popularity, theming and immersion, innovation, broad appeal, and overall guest satisfaction, we determine which rides earn the coveted #1 seeds and which ones barely sneak into the tournament field. From heavy hitters like TRON Lightcycle / Run, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and Avatar Flight of Passage… to beloved classics like Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Spaceship Earth, and Kilimanjaro Safaris, every attraction has to find its place on the bracket. Along the way we debate controversial rankings, question whether nostalgia should matter, and set up some very interesting first-round matchups. Which rides deserve the top seeds? Which ones are overrated? And what attraction do you think could pull off the biggest upset? Let the brackets begin. We break down all ten restaurants across Disney's Contemporary Resort, Polynesian Village Resort, and Grand Floridian Resort & Spa using seven key criteria including food quality, value for money, atmosphere, views, uniqueness, reservation difficulty, and who each spot is really for. This episode blends nostalgia, honest opinions, date-night vibes, family dining realities, and a few spicy takes along the way. Whether you're planning your next monorail meal or just want to argue with us from your car, this one is guaranteed to spark debate.
