On November 6, 2021, Austin paced one of ultrarunning's top competitors and human beings, Kaci Lickteig, during a 100 mile trail race. From mile 49 to mile 72, Austin ran alongside Kaci, in a race where every step took courage and grit. In this episode, Austin recounts the lessons he learned from watching Kaci's amazing performance, and we discuss why it's so important to block out the noise of expectations and meet yourself where you are at right now.
