Will you be watching Camilla Cabello in Amazon Prime's Cinderella? How about Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond in Discovery Plus' 'Candy Coated Christmas'? (How about both? Or neither!) What's weirder: Dog [The Bounty Hunter] marrying a woman named Francie [Frane] or Gavin Rossdale's dating a woman named Gwen Singer? Plus, Bill and Anna hit the town, while Norman and Diane are maybe engaged. Oh, you need last names? How about Snoh Aalegra - who is NOT dating Joe Budden. And Dancing With the Stars confirmed dancer/Gold medal winner, Suni Lee? Sam Asghari delights the Hollywood Tour Bus (kinda), Farrah Abraham slams Harvard (on Yelp) and Rita performs on (or merely just in front of) the Eiffel Tower! Exciting! This week we were all over the place. Liz talks about how nice her anniversary was and how relaxing it was to just see it calm. Also when you tell you husband what you are spending for a gift, do you just expect them to match the amount too? Then Bree talks about how she was FINALLY able to take a nap with no kids, and let be honest we are all so happy for her. She needed that! Also how she was angry cleaning and sliced her finger open, yikes! Bree also shared how Penelope started softball and its so nice that for that time all the kids are entertained and its just so calm to watch Penelope practice. Then we discuss our thoughts on a joint bachelor/bachelorette party. Liz said that she would do it if she was doing the bachelor/bachelorette weekend after she had already had her courthouse wedding. However Bree is not about it and would NOT want that.Of course we had to talk about Bachelor in Paradise. We could not be more obsessed. Grocery Store Joe is just the best and so heartbreaking talking about Kendall... while Demi is leaving is wanting her kindness back.In pop culture we go over the new announcement of JoJo Siwa being added to the DWTS roster as well as Suni Lee from the Tokyo Olympics. Also we talk about Kanye changing his name to Ye and his online fight with Drake.Lastly we talk about all our fav housewives. In Potomac we are 100% team Gizelle and Ashley, Wendy flipped out! Was it really Ashley's place to talk to Wendy about the tabloid rumors? And on RHONY we were so glad to finally have a fun episode where everyone wasn't fighting the whole time. Can we just all agree that we are tired of hearing about Harry Dubin... he needs a Bravo paycheck! Lastly hear all our thoughts on the Beverly Hills ladies and the fight that happened between Garcelle and Dorit (welcome back btw) and the small argument between Erika and Sutton.Don't forget to follow and DM us your thoughts on instagram @relatablerealitypodcast

OLYMPIC RECAP BREAKING NEWS: Uncle Tim PhD has a new website gymnastics-history where he uncovered the truth about Petrik and Caslavska score change controversy. Suni Lee's Olympic triumphs have not only elevated her profile, but the heretofore invisible profile of her fellow Hmong Americans. Yet some are criticizing her for not displaying enough nationalism. Yang has been reporting on Lee and the Hmong American communities, and knows Suni well.
Frontier Airlines attendant spoof is LOL! Minnesotans welcome Suni Lee and Grace McCallum home from the Olympics and other updates. Would You Rather sing karaoke with Gwen Stefani or Kelly Clarkson? The creators of South Park get a big deal and fans of Jeopardy aren't happy.
Intro: Guest host Christina Long talks Olympics, as Minnesota's own gold medalist Suni Lee and gymnastics teammate Grace McCallum returned home Thursday to a welcoming committee of adoring fans. Lee became the newest American gymnast to be a household name, especially after her square-tip acrylic nails, which were designed locally, went viral after her big win. Plenty of other Minnesotans have continued to compete in Tokyo, including Gopher wrestling star Gable Steveson. The Apple Valley native won gold in heavyweight wrestling early Friday morning as he knocked off the three-time champion from Georgia. USA women's basketball, which features Lynx stars Napheesa Collier and Sylvia Fowles, will play for the gold Saturday night. 9:00 Lynx guard Kayla McBride joins the show to talk everything from baking to basketball. McBride and the Lynx are in the midst of the WNBA's month-long Olympic break but will return to play Aug. 15. Minnesota entered the break on a seven-game win streak and will look to continue its upward trend in the second half of the season.
30 for 30 Documentary reviewed: "You don't know Bo." Sam Anderson, Ren Clayton, and Nic Rudolph discuss the heroics that Bo Jackson performed in his cut-short MLB *and* NFL careers. Ren explains the significance of Suni Lee's Olympic Gold Medal in the gymnastics all-around. A game of Mount Rushmore is played with favorite 2021 Summer Olympic Sports. Nic has an idea for a future documentary about Dick Beardsley, a Minnesotan long distance runner with a unique life story.
Intro: Guest host Christina Long talks name, image and likeness after news that local star Paige Bueckers has trademarked her nickname, “Paige Buckets.” Bueckers stands to make $1 million in the next year. With another Minnesota superstar heading to college in Suni Lee, it's possible that two Twin Cities natives could be making a sizable amount from their name, image and likeness while in school -- a huge change for amateur athletes under this brand new rule. Big names like Bueckers and future Ohio State quarterback Quinn Ewers have made headlines for their potential earnings, but what might new NIL rules do for athletes without their star power and name recognition? 7:00: Former Gophers women's golf coach Michele Redman joins the show to talk about the Land ‘O' Lakes Legends Classic, which starts Thursday with a pro-am before the two-day tournament tees off Friday. The tournament is a brand-new event that Redman helped start in order to bring the LPGA's senior tour to Minnesota. 13:00: Gophers beat writer Randy Johnson returns to Daily Delivery for a college football preview. The Gophers held media day Tuesday and started fall camp Wednesday as they prepare to open the season Sept. 2 against heavyweight conference foe Ohio State. After a successful 2019 and a lackluster 2020 that was heavily influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic, coach P.J. Fleck and the Gophers are looking to get back to their pre-pandemic form. Plus, players such as Mo Ibrahim and Tanner Morgan last week sought to spread the NIL love to some of their less recognized peers: the offensive line.
COVID was a non-starter, the Olympics were over budget by 400% and then there are Snoop Dogg and Kevin Hart. GOOD - You can't talk about this Olympics without talking about COVID. The pandemic delayed the games a year, and while there were fears of a total outbreak, it seems like the precautions worked. A few high-profile athletes like John Rahm (golf) and Coco Gauff (tennis) tested positive, but overall, COVID was a non-event. - Americans Caeleb Dressel and Katie Ledecky continued to dominate in the pool. He won five gold medals, and she made history, winning her sixth individual gold. There is no word on Dressel's future, but Ledecky has already promised that she'll be back for 2024 in Paris. - Snoop Dogg and Kevin Hart's commentary on the Olympics was the unsung hero of the Games. They've covered everything from Tonga's shirtless flag bearer to Tom Daley's gold medal-winning synchronized dive. Although our favorite moment has to be their take on the dressage routine by Mopsie, the "rave horse." BAD (TURNED POSITIVE) - Being a good sport is in the DNA of the Olympics, and we have to look no further than the track and field competition. First, Isaiah Jewett (USA)and Mijel Amous (Botswana) collided during the 800-meter race, falling. The two picked each other up and finished the race together. - In the high jump, after tying Mutaz Essa Barshim (Qatar) and Gianmarco Tamberi (Italy), were offered a chance to have a jump off to determine a gold medal winner or share the gold. The two agreed to share the gold. The exclamation mark was Tamberi leaping into Barshim's arms to celebrate their co-victory. - It seemed like a death sentence for US Women's Gymnastics (and NBC's ratings) when Simone Biles dropped out of the team all-around and subsequent events. But not so fast. With Biles out, her teammates Suni Lee (gold – all-around), Jade Carey (gold – floor) and MyKayla Skinner (silver – vault) all medaled in individual events. Every member of the US Gymnastics team went home with a medal, including Biles, who earned a silver (team all-around) and bronze (beam). UGLY - The biggest gut-punch was to the city of Tokyo. It's estimated that the city spent around $35 billion to put on the Olympics - a far cry from the initial $7.3 billion budget. With the games being delayed a year and no Olympic tourists, it'll be tough for them to recoup their costs. According to a University of Oxford study, each Olympic Games since 1960 has overrun its budget by 172 percent on average. This Olympics is over by 400 percent. - It may all work itself out by the end, but the overall TV ratings have been down for the Olympics. Some cite the time difference, confusion on where to catch the coverage and prominent name athletes exiting competition early. The ratings, which are down 42% from Rio 2016, may cause NBC to make right with some advertisers. They sold more than $1.25 billion in commercials and are paying $1.1 billion for broadcast rights. Last week at the Men Tell All, we saw one firefighter trainee just light it up on the stage. It felt like he got more air time at the MTA than all season long, so this one's for you, Brendan. Megan tells the story of the 1984 Pasadena fire at a hardware store that sadly took the lives of four people- two employees, and two customers. During the investigation, they believe that this fire was committed by a serial arsonist, and was even committed by an arson investigator. (Story starts at 10:03). No matter your age, you probably think fondly of Disney. You were either there for the golden age, the silver age, or you're young enough to not know better. Unfortunately, one of the downsides of increased transparency and instant communication is that you have no choice but to meet your heroes, and you know what they say about doing that. Except for Suni Lee of course, who brought home a gold medal even after everyone was sure the US gymnastics team was doomed. You can probably meet her and not get too disappointed. Suni Lee won gold, and Anna and Raven couldn't be happier for her! But they could be a little happier about how they found out about it… (:15) Zoos are for animals, not people. Anna and Producer Jon both won awards on the job, but it was Raven's reaction to those awards that made winning truly sweet! (7:00) It's the Producer Olympics! (33:16) Ray and Maureen love throwing Game Night's at their house, but Maureen want's to institute a “no cell phone” rule. Ray says this is over the top, but Maureen thinks it will force people to participate more! Whose side are you on? (37:15) Tracy has got a shot at $1000! St. Paul's Suni Lee made a lot of people proud Thursday. The 18-year-old daughter of Hmong immigrants is now a champion and a role model for the ages. Tiffany Bui reports.--St. Paul's Suni Lee made a lot of people proud Thursday. The 18-year-old daughter of Hmong immigrants is now a champion and a role model for the ages. Tiffany Bui reports.Sunisa Lee of St. Paul, the first Hmong Olympian, is bringing home the gold in the gymnastics all-around competition. A packed room of friends, family and hundreds of fans in Oakdale erupted in cheers at her victory on Thursday. Mor Chia Nguyen's 7-year-old daughter Emma, is also in gymnastics. Nguyen said Sunisa Lee is paving the way for other Asian girls.“Representation matters so much, especially in a sport like gymnastics where it is predominantly white Americans,” Nguyen said. “For her generation that's growing up, she's seeing more and more people like her achieve higher and higher goals.” Many Hmong families settled in Minnesota as refugees after the Vietnam War. The CIA recruited Hmong soldiers to fight in the Secret War in Laos, but the U.S. abandoned the population after withdrawing from Vietnam.Nguyen said there were many classes she wanted to take as a child, but her family couldn't afford to pay for them. She wanted to make sure her daughter would have the chance to dream bigger - and commends Sunisa Lee's family for doing the same. “ I really admire her parents for working so hard to get to her dream,” Nguyen said. She read an article that said it was their dream too..” So I thought that was really beautiful.”Lee's win is already inspiring the next generation of Hmong gymnasts. Nine-year-old Ari Lee, no relation to Sunisa, trains at the same gym as the now-Olympian. “I think her win really helped me and other athletes to believe that they can do it,” Ari said. “My goal is to make it to the elite level and go to the Olympics.”Sunisa Lee could win even more at her bars final on Sunday. Thanks to Kare 11's Gia Vang for recording the cheers in Oakdale. For the Racial Reckoning Project, I'm Tiffany Bui.

Chase Garrett and Drew Butler joined the How to Play the Game Podcast to break down the first month of name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights for college athletes and highlight how their company, Icon Source, has played a role in the explosion of athlete deals during the first four weeks. They highlighted how their platform now has over 10,000 athletes and thousands of brands, connecting to engage in potential NIL deals such as the landmark agreement negotiated between Haley and Hanna Cavinder (the Cavinder Twins) and Boost Mobile. They expect gold medalist Suni Lee to have great opportunities as she enrolls at Auburn and hope to be part of Bryce Young doing deals beyond the roughly $1 million that he has thus far secured (Bryce is on the Icon Source platform). The biggest brand campaign that they have had on the Icon Source platform was over 6-figures. Amazingly, no school compliance department has rejected any of their athlete/brand deals. On this special episode of Daily Delivery, host Michael Rand checks in with Star Tribune columnist Jim Souhan, who is in Tokyo along with Rachel Blount covering one of the biggest stories in Minnesota sports history: Suni Lee, the 18-year-old gymnast from St. Paul, won the Olympic gold medal in the women's all-around competition on Thursday morning. You'll hear Souhan's perspective on just how amazing this is, how it fits into the context of Minnesota sports history and how Lee's bravery in competing at the highest level sits side-by-side with Simon Biles' bravery in pulling out of the competition. Rand is then joined by Star Tribune reporter Zoe Jackson, who was in Oakdale with about 300 Lee supporters for a watch party early Thursday. You'll hear audio of the moment Jackson was talking to Lee's sister when Suni called on FaceTime from Tokyo, sending the watch party into an eruption of cheers. And Star Tribune Olympics editor Naila-Jean Meyers talks us through just how Lee was able to pull off a nearly flawless set of routines, and the strategy involved in bringing home Olympic gold.

Presenting the third of our Summer Olympics Sports Primers! A very fast and dirty overview of the types of olympic gymnastics; events, scoring, and apparatus; and who to watch in 2021. Alternate Title: Shut Up, Nancy. *note: Nancy misspeaks - MyKayla Skinner is not an alternate, she is an individual competitor with the US team. Also, the women's team is not majority minority; it is an even split. And a clarification - Suni Lee beat Simone Biles specifically on the uneven bars both days and beam one day, but not in the all-around. Minnesota still doesn't have a completely finalized budget despite Wednesday's looming deadline, so in this week's episode, Grace and Bri get us up to speed with what has been happening in the country's only divided legislature -- including some shenanigans from GOPers in the Senate and a filibuster/temper tantrum in the House. Then, Emmy-nominated independent journalist/badass Georgia Fort stops by to chat about her work to change the way we tell stories and who we tell them about -- and how we change media narratives for the better. Plus, we unpack the Chauvin sentencing and nerd out about Suni Lee and the other Minnesotans heading to Tokyo for the Olympics next month. BREAKING NEWS We reached out to USAG about Jade Carey's Olympic spot, whether she's going to compete at Trials, and whether she'll be considered for the main team. Their answer was wild. And now we have some additional questions: "Based on our understanding of the current FIG qualification rules, we believe Jade Carey’s performances on the floor exercise in the World Cup Series have mathematically qualified her, by name, to the Tokyo Olympic Games. Barring any rule changes, we anticipate that FIG will award her the spot. We are extremely proud of Jade’s performance on the world stage, which earned her this well-deserved opportunity. This path – to pursue the opportunity for an individual qualification – was open to certain qualified national team athletes. No other eligible athletes opted to pursue this qualification route. We anticipate that Jade will be competing at Trials. Unless she accepts the individual spot beforehand, Jade would be eligible to make the four-person team. At this time, FIG has not announced when they will officially award the spot or whether they will impose a deadline for acceptance. In any event, the choice to accept or reject the qualified spot is hers, and she has the full support of USA Gymnastics in any outcome." Golden is coming.
