How to Grow Your Business Using LinkedIn with Colin Hirdman Introduction: In this episode of Profit with a Plan, Marcia Riner is joined by Colin Hirdman, co-founder of Rainmaker, a company that helps business owners, coaches, and sales teams expand their LinkedIn networks and generate sales using little-known LinkedIn features. Colin shares insider tips on how to turn LinkedIn into a powerful business tool. Key Takeaways: Philosophy for LinkedIn Success: Be authentic: Show up genuinely and communicate in your own voice. Educational mindset: Focus on teaching, not selling. Experiment: Be willing to test different strategies and improve over time. Audience Building: Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build specific, targeted audiences. Leverage LinkedIn events and thought leaders to connect with potential clients who are actively interested in relevant topics. Connection Strategies: Reach out to 25 potential connections daily, aiming for around 500 connections per month. Prioritize connecting with those who have mutual connections, as this increases the likelihood of engagement. Avoid using sales messages in connection requests—keep it simple and genuine. Follow-Up Messaging: After connecting, send a message that authentically thanks them—no hard sells. Follow up a week later with added value, such as helpful resources, insightful questions, or relevant content. LinkedIn Live Streams: Host weekly LinkedIn live streams to engage your network. Use the same content deck but target different audiences. Follow up with attendees after the stream, providing value and a link to your calendar for a potential strategy call. Maintaining Relationships: Avoid the hard sell; instead, build a relationship over time. Show value and expertise before asking for business. Use LinkedIn's natural tools to nurture relationships, and consider moving conversations off-platform when appropriate. Closing Remarks: Colin emphasizes the power of using LinkedIn as a revenue driver while maintaining authenticity. By focusing on creating meaningful connections, providing education, and taking a thoughtful approach to growth, entrepreneurs can turn LinkedIn into a profitable tool.

Dostojevskij retar upp Bokcirkelns Yvonne Hirdman.
