One of the crops I really thought would be easy to grow that turned out not to be for me was peppers, specifically bell peppers. Turns out not only do peppers really prefer a lot of heat, they also prefer more water than I typically use in my gardens and in my fields. And peppers are one of those plants that I get asked about all the time in messages and at the farm stand. Because once you get the hang of it, you can grow boatloads and we bring lots of beautiful peppers to market and it gets people talking. It's also one of those vegetables that is a mainstay in many people's kitchens and they can be expensive at the grocery store, so knowing how to grow your own is high up on the gardening wish list for a lot of people. So, today we'll talk all about peppers, both sweet and hot, how to get them to germinate, their feeding requirements, planting, spacing, harvesting and all the usual basics. By the end of this episode, I hope you can fill in the gaps of what's been going on with your peppers to get you some success or give you the confidence to give them a try if you're new to the capsicum scene. The old adage "you get back what you put out" is true. If you act like a jerk to others, they will treat you like one. If you want people to treat you well, then give people respect and treat them as human beings. Respect is a virtue that doesn't cost anything, yet it is one of the most powerful tools in the world. How you treat people around you will affect how they feel about themselves and how they will treat you in return. The future belongs to those who are willing to learn, grow, and change. The rating ranges from Bell Pepper, Poblano, Jalapeno, Thai Chili, and Reaper. Vicky and LaMont start the conversation by reviewing their experiences for the past week. In today's episode, the hosts share the confession of a young man who is very proud of his flatulence. During the previous weekend's bar crawl, her ass served well. She had visited an ethnic event a day before, and the food was great. However, on this day, the ass wanted to breathe! The atmosphere was loud with the DJ playing loud music. How could she help it better? She farted and mingled with the crowd to eliminate any suspicion. This was not only in one bar but four more. A fantastic and lovely occurrence, she claims. LaMont also reads a confession of a lad who is guilty of tarnishing the reputation of his friend Sam. During the sleepover on his ninth birthday, he decided to chuck a browneye to his friends, but in the process of letting his arse breathe, pieces of poop came out and fell on the carpet accidentally. To avoid the embarrassment that awaited him the following day in school, he told all the other classmates that his friend defecated on the floor the previous night... Anyway, sorry to Sam. His father was a very responsible family man who taught him all life's good morals and values. LaMont also reads a confession of a lady who refuses to earn more than what will get him off Medicaid. Loving yourself is the greatest revolution, but most people struggle with accepting themselves. To be body-positive means loving your body regardless of your color, race, size, or shape. My vege garden awaits the species that germinate from seeds…sowing is what you do right now. Peppers comprise the capsicum group. They go from the colourful reds, yellows, orange to the green “Bell” Peppers. My standard colour to a salad. The hotter members of the family are the chilli peppers. These plants require quite a good, high temperature to germinate, so there's little point in sowing them outside while we still encounter cool nights. If you can give them more than 20 degrees Celsius you're ahead of the game. Sow in pots or seed trays and don't bury the seeds deeper than a centimetre. Seed-raising mix Not Too Wet! I often “mist” them with a water bottle, rather than “gluk-gluk- gluk” them with a watering can. All are relatively easy to grow and don't require a lot of space. They'll take at least 7 weeks before you can transplant them into a glasshouse, tunnelhouse or out in a frost-free environment outside. Staking is a good idea… let them “grow up”! They are Gross Feeders that would appreciate regular liquid fertiliser treatments when on their way. There are many varieties of Bell Peppers (check Kings Seeds catalogue!) some have a surprising range of colour mixes and keep an eye out for the smaller variety Jingle Belles. Chillies are very similar in horticultural treatment and they totally vary in “hotness”. They can even have flavours other than “oh-My-God”! If you're not sure about their strength, get one of the macho male grandkids to pre-taste a little bit … That leads us nicely to YANG When you've been “done” by peppers or chillies or sambal (my parents schooled me in hot Indonesian food!) don't drink water (or beer), but use yogurt or cucumber (or “ketimun”) to balance the fire attack in your mouth. Now's a good moment to sow the seeds of cucumbers and we have a great range of choices here: Some great varieties on the market: My fave: Iznik F1 (see catalogue Kings Seeds) nice and small – just 10 cm long – easy in lunch boxes and you simply use the whole thing in one salad – no wrapping of remnants in the fridge. Lebanese are always useful as you eat them skin and all; spacemaster is a great producer. Diva F1 is another smaller variety and rather resistant to powdery mildew Green apple is a round cucumber; something different! And the gherkin-like Home-made Pickles is used to pickle them when still small Transplant in mid-November: Plant them in free-draining and fertile soil; keep them well- watered. My trick is to mulch the root-zone with at least 5 cm (pref: 10 cm!) of decent mulch – it keeps the subterranean roots nice and cool and stops too much evaporation To save space: plant them under a sturdy “trellis” in which they can climb up – help them along, from time to time by tying them up the structure. If you let them flop all over the ground they require a lot more room. I liquid fertilise them (like my tomatoes) every week or two: water and fertiliser at the same time! Selamat Maka

And she doesn't care if this is controversial because she thinks that she needs to confess it. They also discuss the truth by a person who is annoyed with the paper straws as the drink tastes like paper every time s/he takes a sip and a person whose brother is missing for two years but he occasionally contacts him. His family thinks that he is in trouble, dead or homeless, but the brother claims that he is living well off and making a good amount of money. Fart often known as gas is a call of nature. It is as natural as eating or breathing. But it can still cause embarrassment if one farts in public. The situation becomes more awful if it's stinky or loud. Today's episode consists of a similar situation where a person has to face dire consequences due to farting. And other confessions will leave you with questions like- Should you go into a relationship after checking if your partner is sexually compatible with you or not? Does love matter in a relationship or sexual compatibility? Is trading sexual favors with your close/best friend okay? The hosts start the show by reading a hilarious confession about a person who farted during dinner and his/her grandma was rushed to the hospital as she fainted due to the stinky fart, they also discuss the confession of a person who views being a virgin until you are married as the dumbest rule created; a girl trading sexual favor with her best friend and being a close friend with the best friend's girlfriend while she is still living in the dark.   Tune in now!  CONVERSATION HIGHLIGHTS: [05:02]- My fart stink so bad that it gave my grandma a stroke [06:06]- A shocking update of Grandma!
