It was a history making night at the Grammy's last night with Beyonce not only now the holder of more Grammy awards than anyone ever, she also 'finally' won album of the year - along with becoming the first black woman to win a Grammy for country album of the year. And last week was a terrible week for aviation. First was the deadly crash outside Reagan National Airport in D.C. - followed by the crash of the medical jet in Philly Friday night and just yesterday passengers in Houston had to make an emergency exit after the wing caught fire. It's no surprise some Americans are jittery about flying. Plus, lawyers for players in one of the ugliest Hollywood disputes in recent memory faced off in a New York City courtroom today with the first hearing in the It Ends with Us dueling lawsuits between' stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. This teen says it happened to him - he found himself going 113 miles an hour with no way of stopping. He says, he thought he was going to die. And before his arrest, disgraced music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs was famous for holding his annual 4th of July party in the Hamptons, where all the famous partygoers were required to wear white. It wasn't exactly a "family friendly" event. Now imagine you're a six-year-old kid and you find yourself a guest there. Plus, Inside Edition has the latest on the murder-for-hire case that has been playing out in the Bahamas. An American mom involved in a nasty divorce is accused of trying to have her husband killed by a hitman. Today her lover, who is also accused of being involved in the murder plot is speaking exclusively to our Les Trent. Both the mom and lover have pled not guilty. It's day one and the big moment tonight is expected to be when President Joe Biden passes the torch to Kamala Harris. While massive security efforts are keeping things under control inside the arena - there was already some chaos outside. And cops say he's a double offender - allegedly grabbing two girls, ages 15 and seven, and trying to force them into his car in kidnappings just an hour apart. It could have been much worse if not for a brave aunt who says she went into warrior mode. Plus, it's the interview from Blake Lively's past that is coming back to haunt her. Some are saying that she was very difficult during an interview years ago, the reporter says she almost changed careers! Now, Lisa Guerrero is speaking with that reporter at the receiving end of the actress now being called a “mean girl.” And legendary TV host Phil Donahue has died at 88. He was surrounded by family including his longtime wife, actress Marlo Thomas. Donahue was a trailblazer who changed the face of daytime talk shows to include audience participation. And a group of kids comes running home after they say a stranger tried to lure one of them into his SUV. Thankfully, their mom was there and the suspected bad guy took off. Lisa Guerrero has the details. Plus, people in big cities are used to late night honking - but this is ridiculous. A parking lot packed with cars honking - keeping residents in a San Francisco neighborhood up all night long, so what was going on? Turns out it was a parking lot of malfunctioning self-driving cars. One even snapped a picture of the guy helping authorities track down and arrest the alleged fire-starter. And a ballerina dubbed the real “Black Swan” is on trial accused of murdering her husband. She openly wept on the stand as she recounted the day she says she was forced to shoot her husband in self-defense. However, prosecutors say it's all an act. Donald Trump is sure it was a bullet and he's hitting back. And first it was 44,000 Black women on an epic Zoom call supporting Kamala Harris...now 100,000 white women have joined forces setting a new Zoom world record. In fact, so many people joined, it broke the internet. Lisa Guerrero on Cowboys' Cheerleaders, Scott Dochterman loves the Clones, and Lucas' Notebook - W H3
In this week's special episode of “Undressed,” hosts Pol' Atteu and Patrik Simpson take you through a comprehensive and entertaining critique of the fashion hits and misses from the 2024 Daytime Emmys. The episode begins with Pol welcoming the audience with a brand-new theme song, setting an upbeat tone for “Runway Rundown” and our mission to dissect and evaluate the red carpet looks, promising an unfiltered take on celebrity fashion. Our fashion microscope begins with Star Jones AKA: “hot mess” because the gown fails to fit properly and the overly high slit that runs up to her thigh. Jennifer Hudson is stunning in a full-length gown and beautiful hair styled in a bun in vibrant colors. Victoria Recaño wearing a gown inspired by “Crazy Rich Asians" feels dated and the tea-length gown does not suit her height. Heather Tom's ensemble sparks a harsher reaction and she misses the mark. Ashley Jones earns more favorable reviews with her chiffon full-length gown but, a clutch could have added a touch of sophistication. The critique continues with Lauren Staller, whose green crushed velvet dress is deemed a nightmare and it's out its season. Sheryl Lee Ralph is celebrated for her fashion sense in an all-black full-length dress. Lisa Guerrero's outfit, however, receives less favorable comments and she looks like she's dressed for a barbecue. Emily O'Brien is next, wearing an earth-tone wrap dress hugs her waistline with matching accessories that match her shoes. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood's outfit, unfortunately, does not fare well as it's probably a costume from Dancing with the Stars. The review moves on to Terri Seymour, who wears a full-length mesh fabric dress and tiny belt and both agree that the dress is a standout, showcasing Teri's fashion-forward choices. Luchina Fisher, on the other hand, makes a significant fashion misstep by wearing flats and an ill-fitting dress. Graziella Prunella's bridesmaid dress is noted for lacking accessories and Audrey Ly's all-white two-piece outfit is a hit for pairing it with a crystallized belt and a stylish jacket. Kiara Ortega's pageant-inspired look is discussed next. Tanner Novlan stands out among the male celebrities with his well-fitted look and his loafers, despite being unconventional, do not detract from his overall appearance. Gemma Bird Matheson's short black outfit pairedwith thigh-high boots from Amazon is deemed inappropriate but, Elia Cantu's high-low gown is praised for her beauty, though it resembles a prom dress. Jamila Norman's all-purple gown is a stunner and she hits it out of the ball park that “slays” with this look. Kelly Clarkson's hot pink dress is critiqued for not being resized after weight loss and the dress wasn't steamed properly and lacks the right undergarments, making it look matronly and Tamron Hall's daring all-black dress receives mixed reviews that the dress fails to flatter her. The episode wraps with our best and worst dressed. Who made the cut? Who dazzled and who fizzled?Whether you're looking for fashion tips, celebrity insights, or just a good laugh, this episode of “Undressed with Pol' and Patrik” delivers it all in style with this Runway Rundown recap! Happy birthday to First Lady Dr. Jill Biden...but this probably isn't the way she would like to be spending her special day. It's got to be one of the weirdest birthday wishes ever: as Donald Trump was entering court for the fourth day of testimony in his hush money trial, the former president wished his wife, Melania, a Happy Birthday. Lisa Guerrero is currently Inside Edition's Chief Investigative Correspondent. She has produced stories that have led to arrests, changed federal legislation and policies at Fortune 500 companies, and helped shine a light on crime, scams, child abuse, and even cold case murders. She has won over thirty-five national journalism honors and awards. Before that, she had a tumultuous sportscasting career in television. Guerrero spent over a decade as a nationally recognized sports reporter on CBS, Fox, ABC, and ESPN, having anchored and reported for dozens of shows including the wildly popular “The Best Damn Sports Show Period.” In 2003, she was the sideline reporter for ABC's Monday Night Football. In her new book, “Warrior: My Path to Being Brave,” she explained that while she covered Super Bowls, Worlds Series, NBA Finals, and interviewed sports superstars. From the outside, it seemed glamorous, but often she was miserable, told to smile more, argue less, and show a lot of leg and cleavage. Colleagues would joke—sometimes on national TV—that she clinched big interviews because of sexual acts rather than talent. She made a mistake on air during the opening game on Monday Night Football that cost her her sportscasting career… and almost her life. In this episode, she displays incredible candor in detailing the ups and downs. She also talks about the small roles she played in various films and TV shows, including Batman Returns, Moneyball, and Frasier. On this Wednesday edition of Sid & Friends in the Morning, Sid covers the breaking story that classified documents have now been found at the home of former Vice President Mike Pence, who, like Joe Biden and Donald Trump, is mulling over a presidential run come 2024. Sid explains that it's clear at this point that most former Presidents and former Vice Presidents probably have, at one point or another, had classified material in their personal possession. The only reason all of these details are coming to the surface and this is such a big story is because the Democrats made their own bed, and made it into a huge story following the raid of Mar-a-Lago unbeknownst to the fact that Joe Biden would run into the same scandal just a couple of months later. In other news of the day, the Cuomo brothers are as soft as they come, Mayor Eric Adams continues to try and crack the code regarding the migrant crisis as well as crime on the subways, and Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy is reportedly looking to oust Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff from their committee assignments. Dov Hikind, Brian Kilmeade, Mayor Eric Adams, Former Congressman Peter King, Jennifer Harrison and Lisa Guerrero join the program, and as always make sure you don't miss out on the "Witchy Wednesday" installment of The Peerless Boilers Sid's Take Contest.
