The Auburn Tigers and The Alabama Crimson Tide both advanced to the Sweet 16 over the weekend, Auburn Basketball to Atlanta and Alabama Basketball is off to Newark. Auburn advanced after rebounding from the "embarrassing performance" against Alabama State in round one by outscoring the Creigthon Blue Jays by 14 in the second half to erase a two point halftime deficit. Tahaad Pettiford was spectacular off the bench with 23 points to lead Auburn. Up next for the Tigers are the Michigan Wolverines. Michigan Basketball advanced after a 91-79 win over The Texas A&M Aggies. Did Auburn get their swagger back? This the first Sweet 16 since the Final Four run of 2019.
