The latest grades from the NFLPAs annual franchise report have been released and things are not looking great for the Arizona Cardinals. The ONE bright spot is the fact their head coach, Jonathan Gannon, received the highest grade on the report card, the most concerning of course being that the owner, Michael Bidwill received an F. The biggest enemy of the Arizona Cardinals has been, well, the Arizona Cardinals at times during their existence. Whether it was empowering people who weren't great at their job, drafting poorly, or giving too much money to free agents, the Cardinals just haven't really been able to keep up with the rest of the NFL. Michael Bidwill has been a main culprit of that, not to mention the allegations of how he treats his employees who don't directly play the game of football. Having said all that, Michael Bidwill seems to be starting to get "it".....he seems to be starting to understand. An egomaniac at times thinking he knew how to do things properly without any real tangible proof to prove it, Bidwill has really seemed different since firing close friend Steve Keim and former head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Since that day, Michael Bidwill has set out to do things differently and, to his credit, has checked every box along the way.....so far. Will it continue? We'll see. Is it looking like he's turned over a new leaf and is beginning to run the Arizona Cardinals differently? So far, yes. Plus, giving big money to an offensive lineman this offseason would be mistake. The biggest enemy of the Arizona Cardinals has been, well, the Arizona Cardinals at times during their existence. Whether it was empowering people who weren't great at their job, drafting poorly, or giving too much money to free agents, the Cardinals just haven't really been able to keep up with the rest of the NFL.
