Hello dear friends!Es hat sich ja fast schon irgendwie manifestiert, dass wir um die Weihnachtszeit immer eine etwas "spezielle" Folge für euch bereit haben... Inzwischen gibt es den Podcast ja auch schon ein Zeiterl, und da wird man ja fast ein bisschen nostalgisch, was wir als Anlass genommen haben, eine kleine Episode zu genau diesem Thema zu machen: Also Nostalgie. Außerdem wollten wir schon die längste Zeit auch bei ehemaligen Gäst:innen des Podcasts mal nachfragen, wie es ihnen so geht, was ihre High- und vielleicht auch Lowlights des Jahres waren, und wie sie es mit Nostalgie haben. Wir freuen uns somit sehr über die Beiträge von der Komponistin und Geigerin Maria Reich, die wir Anfang des Jahres bereits aus Berlin zugeschalten hatten, vom Komponisten und Musiker Lukas Kranzelbinder, den wir vor einigen Staffeln live am Badeschiff zu Gast hatten, von der TEATA-Macherin und Nestroypreisträgerin Sara Ostertag, bei der es auch höchste Zeit war nachzufragen, sowie unserem allerersten Gast, seit wir bei Audiamo Plus aufnehmen, dem Musikmanager, Labelgründer und inzwischen auch Buchautor, Stefan Redelsteiner. Da ist es also schon wieder: das Jahresende. Während Felix sich noch wundert, warum Zettel-Ewald Toni sogar bei einer Folge ohne Spielanalyse eine DIN-A4-Seite mit schönster Krickelkralle vollgeschrieben hat – und bei ihm selbst als Erstes „Tobi nach der besten Räucherforelle von Berlin fragen“ steht –, blickt Toni schon erstaunlich zufrieden und gelassen auf's vergangene Jahr. „Gut“ sei's wohl gewesen – wie gewohnt messerscharfe, nüchterne Analyse aus Madrid. Doch irgendwie war dann doch mehr los, als Toni zuerst erwartet hatte; zumindest sagt das der Blick auf die eigene Fotorolle. Highlights, Lowlights, mittelmäßig helle Lights – alles dabei gewesen. Vom gemeinsamen Spiel auf dem Icon-League-Geläuf über Bundesverdienstkreuze, Zweitliga-Topspiele bei seinRTL bis hin zum MeckPommer-Verdienstorden. Man stellt also fest: Es war doch schon einiges los hier. Zur Erinnerung daran, dass selbst im eigenen Podcast einiges „los war“, stellt Hörer Max direkt vom Paddel-Court eine Frage, die zur weiteren Selbstreflexion einlädt. Über Höhen & Tiefen meines außergewöhnlichen Jahres

Mittlerweile hat sich das Event, The Game Awards, zum Jahresende etabliert und die Gamingwelt fiebert dem entgegen – ich glaube das kann man schon so sagen. Auch wenn es über gewisse Kategorien und Nominierungen alljährliche Diskussion gibt. Allen voran “Ist das noch Indie?”. Auch 2025 war es Thema und ob wir einer Klarheit näher gekommen sind, das weiß ich stand jetzt auch noch nicht.
