This week we continue our series I Know You Know with a review of Psych The Movie. The first of three movies that came out of the success of USA Network's hit show Psych!  Psych: The Movie is lively and lightweight, buoyed by Roday and Hill's bond, which hasn't diminished at all in the last three years. Its structure is classic Psych, with mystery assailants, a break-in or two, a little self-reflection, and rapid-fire pop culture references to make up for their absence. Roday has called the movie a “love letter” to the fans, and it is definitely an enjoyable continuation of the original series.  Virtually all the main and recurring players, including Timothy Omundson, who's recovering from a stroke, are worked into the story, which centers on Juliet (Maggie Lawson). The San Francisco cop has been targeted by the Thin White Duke (Zachary Levi) and his goons, including WWE star Charlotte Flair. The antagonists threaten to spoil not just Christmas, but possibly even Shawn and Juliet's engagement, which remains jewelry-free. He devised the story for the 1999 comedy Big Daddy and wrote the screenplay with Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler. It went on to be the seventh highest-grossing film of 1999, and was Sandler's highest-grosser domestically until Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015).[2] Franks created Psych, about a young crime consultant for the Santa Barbara Police Department whose "heightened observational skills"[3] and impressive eidetic memory allow him to convince people that he solves cases with psychic abilities. Psych debuted on Friday, July 7, 2006. He also created the band The Friendly Indians, which recorded the show's theme song. He wrote several episodes of the series, and also directed many. Franks co-wrote and directed Psych: The Movie, a two-hour USA Network TV movie, which aired on December 7, 2017. On February 14, 2019, it was announced Psych: The Movie 2 was greenlit and all the main cast would return for the TV movie.[4] Franks also served as an executive producer and the showrunner on the CBS series Rush Hour, which was cancelled in May 2016.

My current collection features episodes of "@Midnight," "Claws," "Preacher" and a random episode of "Modern Family." In What I've Been Watching, I clear a lot of movies out of my DVR including "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues," "The Fantastic Four," "Thor: The Dark World," "Interstellar," "Zero Dark Thirty," "The Martian," "Batman: Dark Knight Rises" and "Psych: The Movie," which was AWESOME! After way too long (you know that's right!), the Psych team is back, and Psych-Os Russ, Shawn, and Jenna got together to review Psych: The Movie, which JUST FINISHED AIRING. That's right, fans. Not only have we got two more episodes of Delicious Flavor prepped and ready to be released on a weekly basis starting tonight, but we're starting our new, regular schedule with Psych: The Movie, meaning that for the first time we will not be a Psych rewatch podcast but a Psych watch-podcast.
