This episode is a masterclass in what it actually takes to build a real business, not the Instagram version, not the overnight-success fantasy, but the gritty, human, systems-driven reality of creating something that lasts. In this powerful conversation, Josselyne Herman-Saccio sits down with Dr. Susie Carder, known as the “Profit Queen,” to unpack the truth behind money, systems, leadership, and what happens when passion turns into pressure. Susie's story doesn't start with spreadsheets or venture capital. It starts with survival. As a single mom with no back door, no alimony, and no safety net, she learned business because she had to. What followed was a rise from hairdresser to six-figure solo entrepreneur, to salon owner, to industry leader, to building and scaling multiple multimillion-dollar companies across industries. You'll also hear a grounded, practical breakdown of what actually builds multimillion-dollar companies, without hype or shame. In this episode, you'll learn:Why having “no back door” forces clarity, action, and resultsHow passion can turn into burden if systems and profit aren't designed intentionallyWhy most entrepreneurs underprice, and how pricing mistakes quietly destroy profitabilityThe difference between busyness and a real businessWhy metrics, KPIs, and financial roadmaps matter more than motivationHow trauma, failure, and loss become accelerators when integrated instead of avoidedIf you're ready to stop surviving your business and start leading it, this conversation will meet you exactly where you are.Get Your Free Freedom With Money Workshop with Tyrone Jackson, Josselyne and Robin Quivers from The Howard Stern ShowDr.Susie Carder Million Dollar Business Health Assessment Totally Free! https://www.videoask.com/f0n3b2r7nFind Dr.Susie Carder At:Website: https://drcardersystemscheck.com/Connect With JosselyneWebsite: beunmessablewith.comInstagram: @beunmessablewithFacebook: UnmessablewithnessLinkedIn: josselyneherman-saccioYouTube: @beunmessablewith
This week on Hey Sis, Eat This, Courtney and Whitney chat with Rachel Holtzman, the woman behind more than sixty co-authored books with names like Deb Perelman of Smitten Kitchen, Eden Grinshpan's Tahini Baby, Alicia Silverstone, Tiffani Thiessen, and Robin Quivers. Rachel shares how her path took her from the glossy Elle magazine world to the kitchen at Gramercy Tavern, blending her love of storytelling and food into a career helping others bring their ideas to life. She explains how she captures each client's authentic voice, creates space for vulnerability, and helps authors tell stories that feel personal and true. And then there is Momma Lois. Rachel learned early on that her love of food might come from childhood buffet trips where she perfected the art of a Caesar salad topped with fried calamari. She also credits her mom for her curiosity and drive. Lois is the kind of woman who once decided to learn how to make lattes at Starbucks just to understand the system, and her favorite piece of advice still guides Rachel today: “You can make your life as easy or as hard as you want to.” Pull up a plate and listen in for stories that'll leave you hungry, inspired, and maybe rethinking your next buffet strategy. How much does ego play a role in the art and craft of a book collaborator? That's a question at the heart of this conversation with #1 New York Times best-selling ghostwriter Rachel Holtzman, co-author of more than 60 books on topics ranging from wellness and spirituality, to cooking and entertaining, including collaborations with such celebrated personalities as Shaquille O'Neal, Alicia Silverstone, Robin Quivers, and Christine Quinn. Prior to her work as a self-described “book doula,” Rachel was an editor at Penguin Books and ELLE magazine, before a detour to culinary school and a short stint in the kitchen at New York's Gramercy Tavern helped to launch her career as an in-demand cookbook co-author and recipe tester and developer. “We're climbing inside the minds or the lives of our clients in order to produce something that is really of them,” she reflects, “while also leaving behind a pretty big footprint of our own, because it is of us as well. We're not ChatGPT.” Rachel joins us at a busy time on the collaboration front, as she celebrates the publication of four new titles this month—Tahini Baby, a collection of “veg-forward” Middle Eastern and Mediterranean-inspired recipes, written with television food personality Edin Grinshpan; The Wishbone Kitchen Cookbook, featuring seasonal recipes from celebrity chef and style curator Meredith Hayden; Living in Wisdom, a guide to peak living, from wellness educator Devi Brown; and, Playful by Design, a parenting primer on nurturing independent play, from Myriam Sandler, creator and founder of the Mothercould lifestyle platform. Howard Stern stars in his own biopic as well as Robin Quivers and Fred Norris starring as themselves. While his popularity may be waning over the years, Stern's presence in the mid-80's to the 90's was a force to be reckoned with. In the first part I tried to call Milos Momcilovic the Hollywood actor and my current stock market advisor not picking up the phone. The journalist from TruthQuake.com, Joe Barco, comes on as Robin Quivers and we talk about the American Riots, Omniverse Machinima, the Gays at Alex Jones Bohemian Grove and how I almost got raped by a drunk cop when I was 15 years old. This is an extreme gay episode. Tight up your sphincter and enjoy the ride. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/georgeantonshow/support
The theme song for Patrice O'Neal was made by Von Decarlo.CORRECTIONS:Patrice O'Neal was 32 when he first came onto the show, not 39.When Anthony appeared on Howard Stern's show, he was mimicking Jackie Martling, not Robin Quivers.
