Electric Royalties CEO Brendan Yurik joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce a definitive agreement to acquire a 0.75% Gross Revenue Royalty on the Punitaqui copper mine in Chile. The deal was executed with Battery Mineral Resources, Minera BMR, and Minera Altos De Punitaqui for C$3.5 million in cash. Yurik explained that the capital infusion from Electric Royalties would enable the Punitaqui copper mine to expand production and complete key capital projects. Located with access to critical infrastructure like roads, water, and power, the project boasts four satellite copper resources and essential fixed assets. Currently, BMR is conducting underground infill and extensional drilling at the Cinabrio and San Andres mines. This drilling program is focused on delineating areas for near-term mining and ensuring grade control. Electric Royalties' investment aligns with global trends, particularly the increased demand for copper driven by the clean energy transition and the growth of AI data centers. By securing this royalty, the company positions itself to benefit from sustainable copper production and the anticipated rise in copper prices. #proactiveinvestors #electricroyaltiesltd #neo #snta #otcqb #sntaf #mining #tin #royalty #tantalum #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews #LithiumAcquisition #CleanEnergy #RenewableResources #SustainableInvesting #CEOInterview #GreenTech #ResourceRoyalties #MiningIndustry #FutureEnergy #LithiumProjects #CleanEnergy #CopperMining #RenewableEnergy #BatteryMetals #MiningIndustry #Royalties #CleanEnergyMetals #CopperProduction #Investing#invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Honor your father and mother is a strong Torah commandment (mitzvah). Your parents are your main teachers in life, imparting to you many valuable lessons. Rebbetzin Dassi Bigio, co-director of the Chabad House in San Andres, Colombia, talks about the life lessons that her father exemplified for her while she was growing up. One important lesson that Rebbetzin Dassi's father shared with her is to always think about other people. Life is not all about you, so don't be selfish. Think about others and what they need, and try to provide it for the, Rebbetzin Dassi's father also taught her to never give up. Her father was very goal-oriented and was always working on achieving his goals. He faced many great challenges along the way, but he never stopped believing in his goals and he never stopped working toward them. Another life lesson that Rebbetzin Dassi shared from her father was the idea of thinking big. When you have a dream, thought or goal, don't limit yourself. Think big. In addition, we spoke about the obligation of honoring your parents, even if they were abusive or neglectful, as well as if they tell you to do things that you don't agree with, or actions that go against the Torah. Meet Massiel Diez a Colombian-Canadian chemical engineer who began her career as a wireline engineer in the Oil & Gas industry, and who is now changing the industry from within. Massiel is also known as the “Oilfield Girl” by her global online following, she was born in San Andres, a small Caribbean island in Colombia, and migrated to Canada with her mom when she was 4 years old. Massiel shared her journey of immigrating from Colombia to Canada as a child, and how she knew she needed to become someone to honor her mom's sacrifices, which is why she pursued a degree in chemical engineering at McGill University. She also told us how she started her career in the oil industry as a wireline field engineer, and how she sacrificed the early years of her career to set up a foundation for success. This helped her understand pursuing a degree instead of settling for a decent paying job always pays off, because education can open up more opportunities and choices in life. Massiel also shared her experience relocating with a company twice, first to the US and the to Mexico. She talked about what it is like, the opportunities it provides, and the challenges associated with it. One of them: Struggling to fit in after relocating to Mexico, because even though she has always identified as a Latina, she had not experienced what living is Latin America is like. Finally, Massiel told us how she co-founded Flipping the Barrel podcast, and what the show aims to accomplish: empowering energy leaders and inspiring the next generation of talent in the industry You don't want to miss this fascinating and inspiring conversation with Massiel Diez, a remarkable woman who is making an impact in the energy field and beyond. Lampert Cigars was a first-time booth visit for the Cigar Coop Coalition team. However, the brand has been on the team's radar for some time. The brand is the namesake of Dr. Stefan Lampert, a lawyer out of Austria. He created a brand called My Cigar Lab which gave people the opportunity to create their very own handmade premium cigars as if in a laboratory. This became a springboard for Lampert to then start to share some of his favorite blends, and thus Lampert Cigars was born. Over the past few years, Lampert began working with many factories in different countries to make his cigars. This year, the focus was on a new San Andres blend for his core Lampert 1675 line and a PCA Exclusive offering. Full PCA Report: https://wp.me/p6h1n1-qha

Foundation Cigars came into the PCA 2022 cigar trade show with a bang. They released a new cigar line called the Olmec in both a claro and maduro wrapper. The Olmec is named after an ancient Mesoamerican civilization that predates the Aztec and Mayans in what is now Mexico. They inhabited the areas of Veracruz, Tabasco, and San Andres where the Mexican San Andres tobacco is cultivated. Foundation used a San Andres Negro wrapper that was slowly fermented at a low temperature to help preserve the natural oils in the tobacco. The Nicaraguan tobacco fillers were bale aged for three years before reaching the factory. The Olmec was released in 5 sizes: double corona, grande, toro, robusto, and corona gorda. This is actually the second year in a row Undercrown 10 has landed on Countdown. Last year the Toro size of Undercrown 10 landed at #15. Back in 2008, Drew Estate made a significant move into the traditional premium cigar-making space with Liga Privada, but the brand was always intended to be somewhat of a limited production offering. This is where the need for Undercrown came in. Drew Estate needed an offering that was not as constrained as Liga Privada. In any factory, it is common for rollers to smoke the cigar they are making. With Drew Estate's popular Liga Privada, because there was high demand with limited tobacco, it was not possible for the rollers to smoke that cigar. Therefore, the rollers came up with a variation of the Liga Privada blend which would be dubbed Undercrown (now Undercrown Maduro). This basically involved using alternate primings from the same tobaccos that were acquired and used in the Liga Privada blend. In 2011, the Undercrown Maduro was released to the market. Eventually, other Undercrown blends were added, one of which is the all-new Undercrown 10. Like the original the Undercrown Maduro, Undercrown 10 also uses a San Andres wrapper. The difference is the San Andres wrapper for the Undercrown 10 is a higher grade and priming. The remainder of the blend incorporates “the very finest Broadleaf binder from the Connecticut River Valley, and a tripa blend of select and rare Nicaraguan tobaccos.” Production is handled at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua. The Robusto measures 5 x 50. Flavor-wise, the Undercrown 10 Robusto delivered notes of coffee, cocoa, baker's spice, red licorice, pepper, and cream. For the most part, this delivered a cigar with medium strength and medium body, but it does kick up to medium to full in the final third. The Robusto is going to be very close to the Toro in terms of a flavor profile, but the flavors seemed to be on the richer side. Drew Estate has been one of the most successful companies in the history of the Countdown. This is the ninth year the company has landed on the Countdown, including five years in a row. Nicaragua continues to dominate the 2022 Countdown as this is the 12th cigar to land on the Countdown from that country. Full Report: https://wp.me/p6h1n1-on5

Mt 4,18-22.

This week, we chat to Cristina Bendek. Her novel 'Salt Crystals' was published in 2018, and won the Elisa Mujica National Novel Prize. It's about the island of San Andres, and Victoria trying to make sense of everything. It's just been translated and published in the UK.We talk about how it's a slightly autobiographical novel, reflecting on Cristina's own time in an island trying to figure out its place in the world. We talk about the geopolitical situation of it, and how that influenced why she wanted to write the book. You can hear why rain is the best thing for her writing, why setting a word count doesn't work, and how much she thinks about words and language in her prosaic writing. You can hear why chatting to yourself is key, why she needed to plan this one out more before she started, and what it was like working with a translator. You can support the show at patreon.com/writersroutine@writerspodwritersroutine.com Hosted on Acast.
