Philippians 2:12-16 12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. 14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. The Manner Worthy of the Gospel: Unity Philippians 1:27 Conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ...as you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel. The Problem of Disunity: v.1414 Do everything without grumbling or arguingChristian Life: Becoming more like Jesus (vv. 12-13) continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Clarification: What does it mean to be saved? How do we work out our salvation daily? Repentance to the Father v.12 "continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling..." I John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Remembrance of the Son I Corinthians 15:1-4Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures... Dependence on the Holy Spirit Philippians 1:6 6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:15-1615 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life.

Power of Purity | Helping Men to Honor God with their Sexual Gift
This episode was recorded on December 19th, 2023... in the shadow of Christmas which was just 6 days away. It's so easy to get lost in the helter-skelter and business that comes along with this time of the year - buying Christmas gifts, parties, get togethers, traveling, family obligations, etc. Rush... rush... rush... busy... busy... busy! Sigh! In this episode Tony encourages us to remember the "true reason for the season", and shares 3 important observations from Luke 2, which is the story about the birth of Jesus. It's interesting to note the progresson of 3 intersting vignetes that appear one after the other in this passage. The first one concerns something that was proclaimed by the angel who appeared to the sheperds that night. The second one concerns something that was proclaimed by the old man, Simeon, who had a special connection to the Holy Spirit. The third one concerns something that was proclaimed by the old woman, Anna, who had been a widow for 84 years, and was over 100 years old. SAVIOR! SALAVATION! REDEMPTION! A very significant "theme" emerges around these unusal events that occurred when this special litte boy was born in the manger in Bethlehem, and the proclamation of this "theme" reveals the very reason of his birth. SAVIOR! SALAVATION! REDEMPTION!

This week our guest is Major Steve Dittmer of the Salvation Army of Ocean County in Toms River. Major Dittmer, along with his wife, have been leading the Salvation Army for many. He will be retiring in May. Its mission is to serve those in need with food, shelter, clothing, addiction services and more. They feed an average of 156,000 underserved people each day. In addition to addressing the immediate symptoms of food insecurity, their programs are designed to help identify and treat its root cause. This approach focuses on meeting the physical, mental and spiritual needs of each person and helps move many from hungry to fully healed.
Christian Talk - God Creates Languages. Ages Plummet After Flood. Covering Genesis 11
A heavy duty bible study with Dr Michael S. Heiser. Interpreters of Paul's writings have struggled to resolve the tension of the apostle's statements that we are saved by grace solely through faith (Eph 2:8-9) and also “to those who by patiently doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life” (Rom 2:7). If we do not receive eternal life, Paul asserts “there will be wrath and fury” (Rom 2:8). How are these ideas to be resolved? Is Paul self-contradictory or confused? We investigate these questions, especially the idea of the righteous and unrighteous being judged “according to deeds” in Paul's theology, with Dr. Kent Yinger, whose dissertation (later published by Cambridge University Press) focused on the problem.

The Lord is my Light & my Salavation whom shall I fear. (Psalm 27)
During the holiday season, I love to open Christmas cards and read words of encouragement that are rooted in the Word of God. Some of these words that truly reflect the reason for Christmas are joy, peace, love, happiness, family, and good tidings. Nowadays, most Christmas cards just say "Happy Holidays"! Sadly enough, we're lucky if we even see the word Christmas anymore. Jesus is the reason for the season! This passage sums iup God's love, joy, and peace. Isaiah 9:6 (NIV) "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Join us Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 3:30 PM, PST. We'll reflect on the true meaning of the Christmas holiday, God's gift of salvation. Call in to speak to the host (646) 668-2946 Hope4Today is an outreach program of Yield to the King Ministry. Exodus 5-6
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
For believers, the glory of our salvation is that it is all of God. He causes us to be born again to a living hope, protects us through faith, and prepares us for a future inheritance of seeing Jesus face to face, all by testing our faith through the difficulties of trials.
Summary: You hear people say constantly, “All roads lead to God.” However, the bible exposes this as a tragic error that is leading millions to an damnation eternity in hell. By contrast, numerous Scriptures plainly declare that the one and only way is Jesus Christ.
You've died! Now What? Is there an after life? What happens when I die? What Does The Bible Say Happens after we die? Does the Bible tell us what happens right after death? At a Given Time The Bible speaks a lot about life and death and God gives us two choices as it says, “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live” (Deut 30:19), so we must be “loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them” (Deut 30:20). We can either repent and trust in Christ or face God's judgment after we die or at Christ's return. Either way, those who reject Christ die with the wrath of God on them (John 3:36). The author of Hebrews wrote, “it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment” (Heb 9:27), so we know that a judgment comes after a person dies, but if we have trusted in Christ, our sins were judged at the cross and our sins have been taken away because it was “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2nd Cor 5:21). Everyone of us has an appointment with death and none of us know when that day will come, so today is the day of salvation if you have not yet placed your faith in Christ (2nd Cor 6:2) today is the perfect day to do so.

When a person truly comes to know Christ there is strong evidence of that in their life.
Phillip Gummerson 19/06/11 Key Verses: Hebrews 4:1-11 The 3 'Rests' of God: 1. The Rest from Creation.2. The Rest for the Israelites in the Promised Land.3. The Rest for the Believers in Heaven. Jesus Christ is our sabbath day rest! The 3 'Rests' of the Christian: 1. Rest from Salavation by Works.2. Rest from perfection by Works.3. Rest from mortality and falleness.
