Patzelt im Interview mit Tichys Einblick: „Unser Staat glaubt ohnehin, dass er wesentlich mehr Steuern braucht, als er derzeit bekommt, obwohl das Steueraufkommen wieder auf einem Höchststand angekommen ist, weil unser Staat einfach sein Ausgabenproblem nicht in Griff bekommt. Infolgedessen ist zu erwarten, dass der Staat die Steuern auf Mineralöl deswegen senkt, weil die Preise nach oben schnellen, genauso wirklichkeitsnah.“ Dazu sagt der renommierte Politikwissenschaftler Professor Werner J. Daniel Martin Feige ist Professor für Philosophie und Ästhetik in den Fachgruppen Design und Kunstwissenschaften-Ästhetik an der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart. Zunächst studierte er Jazzpiano, dann Philosophie, Germanistik und Psychologie. Die Promotion erfolgte an der Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt (mit einem Buch zu Hegels Ästhetik), die Habilitation an der Freien Universität Berlin. Er forscht und veröffentlicht an der Schnittstelle von Fragen der philosophischer Ästhetik und der philosophischen Anthropologie in ihrer Verbindung zu klassischen Fragen der theoretischen und praktischen Philosophie. Zuletzt hat er das Buch „Kritik der Digitalisierung. Technik, Rationalität und Kunst“ im Meiner-Verlag (Hamburg) veröffentlicht sowie in Co-Hrsg. mit Michael Lüthy den Sammelband „Kunstautonomie. Positionen zu einer Kontroverse“ im Transcript-Verlag (Bielefeld).

Reset, singular timeline — we're thinking along those lines.” Other tidbits from Feige's comments include a commitment to recasting the X-Men with new actors for their post Secret Wars film, an update on the Mahershala Ali-led Blade film and Sony's mandate that they stay away from a live action Miles Morales until the conclusion of the animated Spider-Verse trilogy. In Marvel news that looks to the more immediate future, director Matt Shakman shared that John Malkovich's role and performance as the Red Ghost has been removed from The Fantastic Four: The First Steps, which opens this week!Superman continues to live up to its name when it comes to its performance, as the superhero flick passed $409 million at the global box office in its second weekend of release. The $58 million second weekend, which is a respectable -54% drop from the opening weekend, is in keeping with 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine and bodes favorably compared to other recent releases from the comic book genre; plus coupled with other wins like A Minecraft Movie and Sinners, the latest success has helped Warner Bros become 2025's top earning studio with $1.32 billion in ticket sales. All of this seems to be in keeping with The Wall Street Journal's recent reports about Feige's 10-year plan for the mutants he shared with colleagues.This week DC treated us to the first official trailer for the sophomore season of HBO's Peacemaker, alongside the announcement that it will premiere August 21. The trailer is jam-packed with gags and characters old and new, with a notable handful of characters from James Gunn's upcoming Superman, like Sean Gunn's Maxwell Lord and Isabella Merced's Hawkgirl, appearing. Elsewhere, Despite wide traveling rumors, James Gunn affirmed that Matt Reeves is still set to direct The Batman 2 with his Threads response “Yes. Huh?” indicating his confusion at the suggestion of anything otherwise.  Gunn also teased a new trailer for Superman to hit the internet on Wednesday, conveniently the day after we recorded this episode.It's a tangled web we weave in terms of Spidey news this week, as Amazon's Spider-Man Noir series released a first image of Nic Cage in the title role, followed by what appeared to be an official trailer that was subsequently removed and scrubbed from the internet. On the film side, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has added The Bear star, Liza Colón-Zayas in an undisclosed role.Per a Jeff “The Insneider” Sneider scoop/rumor, the upcoming Vision series starring Paul Bettany will be the last Marvel TV series to feature major characters from the films.During Disney's Up Front presentation, Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter confirmed that she will be returning to the role in the MCU in the second season of Daredevil Born Again.Warner Bros has slated the next Lord of the Rings film, subtitled The Hunt for Gollum, for a December 17, 2027 release. The film, which sees Andy Serkis returning to not only star, but also direct, was announced last summer for a 2026 release originally before being delayed by a year.Author Tess Sharpe will be releasing a young adult novel focusing on Yelena Belova titled White Widow: Secret Sisters. The novel will be released on September 2nd.Warner Bros. and Legendary announced last week that Godzilla x Kong: Supernova is the new title for the forthcoming movie that is set for theatrical release March 26, 2027. A teaser video was also released to mark the start of production on the sixth film in the series.Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* kept the number one spot on a relatively quiet weekend at the domestic box office, earning $33.1 million for a 10-day North American tally of $128.5 million and $272.2 million globally. Ryan Coogler's hit Sinners crossed the $200 million mark at the domestic box office for a worldwide total of nearly $300 million. In a second victory for Warner Brothers, A Minecraft Movie zoomed past $900 million in global ticket sales and is on track to become the first billion-dollar movie of 2025.Peacock has released a first look image and an official title for the upcoming The Office spin-off series. The series, titled The Paper, will follow a struggling newspaper based out of Toledo, Ohio and is now set to premiere in September.Michael B. Jordan will produce a series set in the Creed universe for Amazon Prime Video. The new Jurassic film features a stacked cast of Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, and Rupert Friend. The newest dinosaur flick in the epic franchise arrives July 2 among other blockbusters that month, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Superman. Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film takes place five years after the storyline of Jurassic World Dominion and the creators are citing Michael Crichton's original book as providing a lot of plot inspiration.A couple of Marvel stories are making the rounds after being revealed on podcasts recently. Firstly, actor Colman Domingo verified that he did have conversations with Marvel executives, though only after rumors of him playing Kang the Conqueror were circulating. Domingo emphasized that he wants a role that will allow him to “build something from the ground up” and that the Kang rumors were never a conversation from his point of view. On the comics side, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefield left some comments on the floor of the Robservations podcast about feeling slighted during the Deadpool & Wolverine creative process and that Marvel boss Kevin Feige ignored him on the red carpet.
