Jana hat derweil ihren nächsten Urlaub gebucht. Aus dem geplanten Camper-Abenteuer wird vorerst nichts – stattdessen geht es im Oktober nach Kreta. Vorher wartet aber noch ihr großes internationales Chorprojekt. Die Aufregung steigt, und natürlich gibt es bereits vor der Abreise die ersten Probleme. Wer könnte dafür verantwortlich sein? Kleiner Tipp: Die Deutsche Bahn spielt eine Rolle. Und weil der Sommer heiß ist, wird es zum Schluss eisgekühlt: Welcher Margarita-Typ seid ihr? Frozen Mango, Strawberry-Guave, Melonen-Slush oder gefrorener Pfirsich? Jana und Lars finden ihre Favoriten – Ramon fehlt dagegen eine entscheidende Variante: Für ihn muss die Margarita spicy sein.

Those numbers exclude the premium IMAX format, as Spidey couldn't web up those screens due to The Odyssey still holding all IMAX screens.While Marvel is on their Spidey high, other headlines have circled the news this week - some good and some disappointing. On a positive note - Samara Weaving has reportedly been cast as Emma Frost. Horror fans will recognize Weaving from the Ready or Not films. Obsession breakout star Inde Navarette confirmed her meeting with Jake Schreier and she mentioned interest in playing Mystique. And for the bad news, Wonder Man will not get a season two after all - even though it was confirmed earlier this year - and both Kevin Feige and Maershala Ali expressed regret about the Blade film; with Feige admitting he feels like a failure for not getting it off the ground and Ali saying he's done with the project. Last week, DC Studios and HBO's Booster Gold series writer David Jenkins said that the project is no longer moving forward. Shortly after he made this statement, IGN reported that the series will, in fact, be moving forward, but with a new creative team. The New York Times reported that Barbie 2 is currently stalled, with Warner Bros. struggling to come to terms with lead talent Greta Gerwig, Margot Robbie, and Ryan Gosling. The studio has until December to reach a deal before the right revert back to Mattel. Stephen King's 1996 novel Desperation is getting a film adaptation from Final Destination: Bloodlines directing duo Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein. Sam Raimi will also produce the feature, his first time working with King. Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Jumanji: Open World, which opens in theaters on December 25. The film returns franchise stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan. Amazon MGM Studios is developing a Warhammer 40k animated event series alongside the upcoming live-action version, sources close to the project confirmed to Deadline. Wer kritisiert wird, kann oft nicht nachfragen: Was genau ist gemeint? Wann ist das passiert? Was hätte anders laufen sollen? Daniel Martin Feige ist Professor für Philosophie und Ästhetik in den Fachgruppen Design und Kunstwissenschaften-Ästhetik an der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart. Zunächst studierte er Jazzpiano, dann Philosophie, Germanistik und Psychologie. Die Promotion erfolgte an der Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt (mit einem Buch zu Hegels Ästhetik), die Habilitation an der Freien Universität Berlin. Er forscht und veröffentlicht an der Schnittstelle von Fragen der philosophischer Ästhetik und der philosophischen Anthropologie in ihrer Verbindung zu klassischen Fragen der theoretischen und praktischen Philosophie. Zuletzt hat er das Buch „Kritik der Digitalisierung. Technik, Rationalität und Kunst“ im Meiner-Verlag (Hamburg) veröffentlicht sowie in Co-Hrsg. mit Michael Lüthy den Sammelband „Kunstautonomie. Positionen zu einer Kontroverse“ im Transcript-Verlag (Bielefeld).

First, last week in a huge move, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige invited a small group of journalists to Marvel Studios' offices where he laid out the future for the next 5 to 7 years for the MCU. The biggest takeaway, arguably, was Feige's cagey hints regarding a likely reset to the universe during the events of Secret Wars, saying, “Reboot is a scary word; Reboot can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Reset, singular timeline — we're thinking along those lines.” Other tidbits from Feige's comments include a commitment to recasting the X-Men with new actors for their post Secret Wars film, an update on the Mahershala Ali-led Blade film and Sony's mandate that they stay away from a live action Miles Morales until the conclusion of the animated Spider-Verse trilogy. In Marvel news that looks to the more immediate future, director Matt Shakman shared that John Malkovich's role and performance as the Red Ghost has been removed from The Fantastic Four: The First Steps, which opens this week!Superman continues to live up to its name when it comes to its performance, as the superhero flick passed $409 million at the global box office in its second weekend of release. All of this seems to be in keeping with The Wall Street Journal's recent reports about Feige's 10-year plan for the mutants he shared with colleagues.This week DC treated us to the first official trailer for the sophomore season of HBO's Peacemaker, alongside the announcement that it will premiere August 21. The trailer is jam-packed with gags and characters old and new, with a notable handful of characters from James Gunn's upcoming Superman, like Sean Gunn's Maxwell Lord and Isabella Merced's Hawkgirl, appearing. Elsewhere, Despite wide traveling rumors, James Gunn affirmed that Matt Reeves is still set to direct The Batman 2 with his Threads response “Yes.
