Wilma Minor's 'Lincoln the Lover' forgery has been called one of the most audacious literary hoaxes of all time, and involves an alleged love story between a young Abraham Lincoln and a woman named Ann Rutledge. There was never any conclusive evidence the two had a romantic relationship; there was nothing in the historical record – no letters or notes between them, for instance -- that showed any indication of their love. It has been a few years since Ohio State has played at Maryland and while none of these players were really involved in the 2018 game that saw Ohio State need to go to extra time to finally put the Terps away, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day remembers it well from his day as a coordinator with the Buckeyes. It is the game before Michigan, the Buckeyes are banged up and there are a million reasons that people want to be concerned about this game. Is that a reasonable take or just the usual jitters that a fan goes through with so much on the line?We talk to Scott Greene of TerrapinSportsReport.com to get his take on Ohio State's next opponent, the Terrapins of Maryland as the Buckeyes are just a week away from the biggest game of the season.

Today meet Scott Greene, Representative candidate for District 86. He's mustered the strength to challenge Democratic incumbent Larry Walsh and bring some trucker sense to the Capital. Knowing that faith, family, and freedom are on the line, he will try his best to represent his district. Greene wants to empower everyone by removing liberal policies that threaten life and livelihood. Cheap energy, strong infrastructure, security, and the importance of the family are of highest concern. Walsh, on the other hand, has openly supported government overreach, mandatory sex-ed in kindergarten, and wretched economic policies that do not benefit or represent the people. In order to demonstrate your value at your current or future organization, it is important to be able to discuss how your performance impacts the return on investment (ROI) for your salary. In this episode, Scott Greene from Llama Lounge discusses with Jerry how to talk about your work in terms of return on investment. When we are able to show our organizations that the salary paid to us was multiplied back to them, we are showing a return on investment. That can come in the form of increased revenue or decreased overhead (costs) through improved processes, reduced staff turnover, fewer accidents, and so on. Talking about your accomplishments in terms of financial impact helps companies see your impact on the bottom line. It distinguishes you from the rest of the crowd.W. As a Christian, I am called to live my life by faith – but what does living by faith really mean? W. Scott Greene from The Llama Lounge Podcast joins us for a discussion on that topic.Living by Faith"Without faith, it is impossible to please God." This verse from Hebrews 11:6 has always been a driving force in my life. As a Christian, I am called to live my life by faith – but what does that really mean? And why is living by faith so important? In this episode, we'll explore what it means to live by faith and why Christian men should aspire to do so. We'll look at how living by faith can impact our career decisions, our relationships, and our role as fathers. So what does it mean to live by faith? Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is "being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." In other words, faith is trusting in God even when we can't see the outcome. It's about having confidence in God's character and His promises, even when life doesn't make sense.Living by faith requires us to step out in obedience, even when we don't know what the future holds. It's about living in a way that pleases God, even when it doesn't please us. And it's about trusting God, even when we don't understand His plan.So why is living by faith so important? Here are three reasons Christian men should aspire to live their lives by faith.First, living by faith is important because it allows us to please God. As we saw in Hebrews 11:6, without faith it is impossible to please God. Second, living by faith is important because it helps us impact this generation for good. In 2 Corinthians 5:20, we are told that we are "ambassadors for Christ." Finally, living by faith is important because it sets us up for success in the next generation. In Deuteronomy 6:6-7, we are told to "carefully observe all these commands I am giving you today, so that you may obey them...response with all your heart and soul." So Christian men, let us aspire to live by faith. Let us please God with our lives, impact this generation for good, and set up the next generation for success. As we do, we will experience the blessings of God and find true satisfaction in Him.In This EpisodeLiving by the Five F's: Faith, Family, Fitness, Finances, and Future PossibilityGrowing up in a Christian homeServant leadershipServant leadership applied to marriageServant leadership applied to fatherhoodExamples of living by faith in terms of guiding principles for lifeW. Llama Lounge Takeover week continues as W. Scott Greene joins us on this episode of Rise From The Shadows! On this episode, Scott talks about an article he wrote a few years ago titled “Attitude, Decisions, and Actions”. Scott shares his appreciation of the silence, solitude, peace, and darkness of an early morning drive to work. It allows him moments of reflection and how he's in control of the day that lies ahead. He admires the intentional actions of those sharing the road with him from a cross country team to an older couple out walking. Our intentional decisions and actions define who we are. “The choice to overcome adversities is ours, and ours alone.” Scott also talks about not allowing others to influence our lives and not accepting mediocrity. In this episode of real talk and conversation with today's candidate, I welcome on my special guest Karen Scott Greene Candidate for Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge. Karen grew up. In Broward County, Florida in a small close-knit community of Carver Ranches. Growing up in Carver Ranches taught her about the full aspect of it taking a village to raise the kids of the community and to help out one another. Her parents played a big part in that village with her Mom owning a salon and her father, who started off as a volunteer fireman, becoming the first African American Captain in the county. It was instilled in Karen the importance of hard work, family values, and a strong sense of community. https://www.votekgreene.org/home Stay tuned for the latest episodes from PTGtv and how you can support us in our effort to bring more content to you the people by navigating to our website. Scott Greene from Terrapin Nation of the Rivals.com network joins us to talk Maryland as the Illini prepare to host them Sunday evening.
The Buckeyes entered the 2020 season as heavy favorites to win the Big Ten season and has changes and alterations to the schedule took place as the conference had an on-again, off-again approach to things, the biggest fear for Ohio State fans was that COVID would be the biggest opponent in the grand scheme of things. As we learned on Wednesday, COVID has taken a bite out of the Ohio State season but not at Ohio State's fault as Maryland had to call off Saturday's game with the Buckeyes due to concerns around the Terrapins program. So now the Buckeyes will have a seven-game schedule, at best before a hopeful trip to the Big Ten Championship game. We will never know for sure what would have happened if the Buckeyes and Terps would have played but we caught up with our friend Scott Greene of Terrapin Sports Report to get his views on the Terps and what may have been if these two teams would have been able to meet in College Park. (Md.).
Stephen Strom (@SStrom32) chats with Rivals.com very own Scott Greene. Greene covers the Maryland Terps and previews this Friday's matchup + the Big Ten's 21 day quarantine period.

Next, Jean Ruestman, director of the MDOT Office of Passenger Transportation, talks about the effect on public transit services and how agencies are adjusting. The largest operators of public buses in Metro Detroit are waiving fares for riders in response to the crisis as are some other agencies around the state. https://detroit.curbed.com/2020/3/12/21176549/coronavirus-covid-detroit-ddot-bus-cancel While the health crisis is thinning crowds on public transit across the country, Ruestman talks about the vital role these services play in getting people to and from work, doctor’s appointments, and retail outlets for food and medicine. http://www.chicagotribune.com/coronavirus/ct-biz-cta-metra-coronavirus-public-transit-20200317-fdf67yu7y5h5rea2zoyytmrqrm-story.html To see what’s going on at various transit agencies across the state, access their home pages. https://www.michigan.gov/mdot/0,4616,7-151-9625_21607-31837--,00.html In related news, Amtrak has made several service changes. Agency Nation Radio - Insurance Marketing, Sales and Technology
Let's be honest “viral” and “insurance” aren't typically two words you hear in the same sentence. Unless you're Scott Greene and Ethan Dewhurst. Two guys who set out with one goal: to do something that hadn't yet been done before in insurance. Years later, they've not only created multiple videos that have gone “viral” in their community….and won themselves attention, business and trust. But they've also shown the insurance industry what can happen when you don't use “professionalism” as an excuse.

Most of the time it started with something unexpected and ended with your ability to make a difference. Once you're exposed to the power of being there for someone on their worst day it makes it hard to want to do anything else. Then your mission becomes finding new ways to do old things. Which might involve sneaking some implied video authority from someone else. That's what I talk to Scott Greene about his journey joining the industry with Elliott Insurance and Don't miss Scott live at Elevate 19 sharing his secret to branding himself inside other businesses. P.S. This is another good place to learn how to stay in the industry.
