In today's episode, I sit down with Josh Trent, founder of the Wellness and Wisdom Podcast and creator of the Life Method, who brings a decade of wisdom on identity transformation and building from wholeness. We dive into why identity transformation matters more than marketing tactics, the three phases of entrepreneurial growth (and why most skip the most important one), and the garden metaphor that will change how you approach your inner work. Josh brings raw honesty and practical wisdom on why there are no shortcuts, how to embrace the messy middle, and why people buy your energy, not your information. You don't want to miss this one.

Allow Forgiveness to Be Your Teacher 'ask dorothy' The WISDOM podcast Season 5 Episode 93 ~ 'For giving yourself permission for the endless moments of your humanness.' Permission to go forward. Permission to make amends, to learn and not repeat the same behaviours. Permission to continue to do better. Forgiveness is about growing into a better, kinder, more compassionate being - each situation that is challenging becomes a new tapestry in which to hold yourself to the promises of what you are becoming. Your focus is to show up being love in each new moment and even when others falter ~ when they are not kind ~ when they are self-absorbed, emotionally unavailable, so very different than you ~ and as you witness them, tell themselves and others a story of what is not entirely true. You are going to witness others falter all of the time. 'For giving' is to accept others may or may not get it right in this lifetime. Your biggest job is to focus on yourself - for giving yourself the attention and the care that allows you to thrive, to be loving and kind because that is what you are here to do. ~ ~ Self-Love Mastery ~ Join me for a NEW 30 Day COURSE This is a very special and sacred course. In this episode of the Pearls of Wisdom Podcast, brought to you by Southern Jewelry News and Jewelry Store Marketers, host Guy welcomes Chuck Keohler of Anthony's Jewelers and special guest Chuck Frey of Charles Frey and Company. With more than 40 years of experience, Chuck Frey specializes in helping jewelers navigate major business transitions—from liquidations and stock reduction events to retirement, relocation, or passing the store to a successor. While many think of liquidations as the end of the road, Frey explains that transitions don't always mean closure. For some stores, it's about continuing under new ownership—whether that's a family member, long-time employee, or an outside buyer. His company helps jewelers determine realistic purchase prices, design effective transition sales, and generate the cash flow needed to support the process. Frey also highlights the importance of goodwill and reputation, noting that buyers are often attracted not just to inventory but also to the community ties a store has built. He shares strategies such as advertising “retiring, seeking buyer” events, which create urgency while opening doors for potential new owners. Packed with practical insights, this conversation explores succession planning, financial realities, and creative solutions for jewelers preparing for change. Whether you're considering retirement or seeking to sell, this episode provides valuable tools for ensuring a smooth transition and preserving your store's legacy. In this episode of the Pearls of Wisdom Podcast, recorded live at the Atlanta Jewelry Show, host Guy welcomes Melissa Mor, founder of Mrs. Push. Melissa shares the story behind her business, which focuses on “push presents”—special gifts given to moms after childbirth or to celebrate motherhood. While the tradition has existed for years, it has only recently become a widely recognized and celebrated category. Melissa explains how Mrs. Push curates primarily jewelry pieces from female- and mom-owned brands. Popular selections include stackable birthstone bands, charms that can be added with each child, and mother-daughter bracelets that create lasting connections. These pieces go beyond jewelry—they become symbols of love, family, and milestones worth remembering. She also highlights the importance of storytelling in retail. Customers often share personal journeys when choosing a piece, whether it's a dad shopping for his partner's first child or a mom honoring children already grown. These stories give jewelry deeper meaning and transform gifts into lifelong keepsakes. Melissa's passion shows through as she talks about growing the business, serving a niche audience, and creating jewelry that resonates with moms of all ages. This episode offers insight into how focusing on a unique market can lead to both business success and emotional impact, reminding us that meaningful jewelry is always tied to meaningful moments. The Edge of Reason 'What Are You Chasing If You Are Chasing Love? | 'ask dorothy' The WISDOM podcast Season 5 Episode 86 Love is given to us - by our caregivers and the formative relationships that we experience early in life. The missing piece, is the teaching that so many people never receive ~ that self-esteem and self-love are learned experiences that result from learning how to rely on our self for approval, for love and acceptance, for knowing that we are enough ~ we are more than enough. For all of the ways that we need to feel good, desirable, confident, empowered ~ we need to cultivate the root conditions that allow us to feel this when we need it, as we need it and frequently - and all based upon our own abilities and resolve. The goal is to appreciate when others compliment you - when others find you attractive, intelligent, wonderful ~ and yet to not be dependent upon external approval for feelings of worth, happiness, esteem and love. These are the teachings that I bring to life when working with clients who have lost themselves often in pursuit of love and approval when they have not yet found a way to rely on themselves more completely. - ~ Join me for a NEW 30 Day Masterclass: A Positive Mind
In this episode of the Pearls of Wisdom Podcast, recorded live at the Atlanta Jewelry Show Fall 2025, host Chuck Keohler talks with Brian and Susan Barnes of Barnes Jewelers in Lexington, South Carolina. Together, they discuss store renovations, new engraving and monogramming services, and the importance of creating a relaxed, approachable atmosphere that resonates with younger shoppers. Listeners will also gain perspective on broader industry trends—from evolving buying habits to the influence of economic cycles on jewelry sales—and why customer experience remains at the heart of long-term success. Planet Worship in the Bible?! Mysteries of Ancient Wisdom™ Podcast with Cub Kuker (Episode 579)Welcome to the Mysteries of Ancient Wisdom™ Podcast with Cub Kuker (formerly Cub Kuker Supernatural Podcast).Once you understand this about the Bible, there's no going back: when taken literally, it has led to division and endless debate, but when read allegorically, it reveals a hidden power capable of unlocking the soul. Within its pages lies a spiritual technology encoded in the symbolism of the stars and planets. The myth of the fallen angels is not a condemnation of astrology, but an allegory for our own spiritual descent—we are the fallen, and astrology is one of the tools we've used to remember who we are and return to God. Enoch represents Mercury, the divine messenger; Yahweh of the Old Testament, in his anthropomorphized form, is Jupiter, king of the planets with the all-seeing eye; and Satan, who tested Jesus, is not a roaming beast, but the challenging force of Saturn itself. These and other celestial mysteries are explored in my new book, and on today's episode.
Churchianity Lied About Revelation! Mysteries of Ancient Wisdom™ Podcast with Cub Kuker (Episode 580)Welcome to the Mysteries of Ancient Wisdom™ Podcast with Cub Kuker (formerly Cub Kuker Supernatural Podcast). Today we're diving into the Book of Revelation—not as a coded prophecy of world events, but as a metaphysical manual for ascension. When read with the inner eye, Revelation unfolds as a symbolic map of the soul's journey through transformation, illumination, and union with the divine. The imagery of seals, trumpets, and visions is not random. It mirrors the ancient energy centers of the body—what we now call the chakras. Each center represents a stage of purification, balance, and awakening. The seven churches addressed in Revelation correspond to these inner gates of consciousness. Their “messages” are not only letters to ancient cities but instructions for the disciple's inner work: how to cleanse fear, open to light, and ascend step by step into Christ-consciousness.The throne, the rainbow, the lampstands, and the river of living water all point inward. They describe the flow of divine energy through the subtle body, the balancing of masculine and feminine currents, and the awakening of the crown into pure awareness. The Book of Revelation is not merely the “end of the world”—it is the unveiling, the apocalypse, of the self as God's dwelling place.Mysteries of Ancient Wisdom™ – Pre-Order Now for Limited-Time Savings & Bonuses!More than just a book, this is a transformational journey designed to help you awaken heaven within. In this episode of the Pearls of Wisdom Podcast, recorded live at the Atlanta Jewelry Show, hosts Guy and Elesa sit down with longtime jeweler and industry supporter Evan Deutsch of Evan James Ltd. Diamond Jewelers & Goldsmiths. Having attended the show for more than 30 years, Evan offers a rare perspective on what makes this event a cornerstone of the jewelry community. Evan explains why the Atlanta Jewelry Show continues to thrive as one of the last nonprofit jewelry shows in the nation. He highlights its unique advantages—from affordable hotels and authentic Southern hospitality to the meaningful networking opportunities that larger, corporate-run shows simply can't match. For Evan, the value lies not just in the deals made, but in the trust and personal connections built over decades. Listeners will hear Evan's candid “mic-drop moments” on how the show remains successful despite rising costs and industry consolidation. He even shares why he often invests more here than in Las Vegas or New York, crediting the supportive environment created by both vendors and show staff. Beyond the business side, Evan also captures the vibrant culture that surrounds the show: $10 hot lunches, black-tie galas, and the chance to catch a Braves game just across the street. It's a blend of professionalism, hospitality, and fun that keeps him—and many others—coming back year after year. This conversation is a celebration of community, connection, and the enduring spirit of the jewelry industry. The Parenting You Need Now More than lip service to correcting your mistakes ~ this is living the promise of change that fosters healing and unparalleled growth. 'ask dorothy' The WISDOM podcast Season 5 Episode 81 How Do You Parent? Do you parent the way you were parented or do you reach for something better? The biggest takeaway from this episode is twofold: First who you are is how you will parent. Second, if we say all of the 'right' things after an explosive reaction - with good intentions to repair and resolve - have we? If your behaviour as a parent never changes - it becomes a tired expression of 'I'm sorry' I did this bad thing and I'll do better. However, your actions need to support your words or the repair you intended is really you giving lip service to what you know you should be doing differently. I want to address both of these areas - giving you the practical means for how to break a cycle in which you continue to do the same. Naming your inappropriate behaviour and apologizing is important. I'm so glad that we are hearing this message for parents from clinicians - however it is needing something more. Naming your mistakes the beginning. You then need to show up being different again and again. When you reach for real healing it is more than lip service because haling involves listening, feeling empathy and remorse and the clear understanding of how you hurt someone and what feels and looks like from their perspective. Your child may be able to articulate all of their experience and feelings but you can ask them to try. How did my reaction, my words, my hurtful behaviour impact you? How did it make you feel? When you recall this experience, what thoughts do you have about it? ~ Join me for a NEW 30 Day Masterclass: A Positive Mind
“A Principle with Promise”Doctrine and Covenants 89–92The Word of Wisdom Podcast for ChildrenWord of Wisdom Lesson for Kids From the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Come Follow Me Manual : In the School of the Prophets, the Prophet Joseph Smith taught the elders of Israel about building God's kingdom on earth. They discussed spiritual truths, prayed together, fasted, and prepared to preach the gospel. But there was something about the atmosphere that might seem odd to us today, and it didn't seem right to Emma Smith either. During the meetings, the men smoked and chewed tobacco, which wasn't unusual for the time, but it stained the wood floors black and left a strong odor in the air. Emma shared her concerns with Joseph, and Joseph asked the Lord. His response was a revelation that went far beyond smoke and tobacco stains. It gave the Saints, for generations to come, “a principle with promise”—promises of physical health, “wisdom,” and “great treasures of knowledge” (Doctrine and Covenants 89:3, 19).The Word of Wisdom helps me be healthy in body and spirit. The Word of Wisdom: The Lord's law of health. Elder Gary E. Stevenson counseled young people to plan in advance what they will do when tempted with alcohol or drugs. He taught: “You will find that temptation has less control over you. You will have already made the decision of how you will react and what you will do. You won't need to decide every time”You're listening to Come Follow Me Kids!A Come Follow Me Podcast for Primary Kids of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We are an interactive game play podcast for kids.
