Hey Sis! Have you ever wondered what effects body positivity has on your sexual relationships? What about being the higher desire woman? Tune in to part 2 of this conversation with Jacquie as she answers a few questions from some of my Instagram followers. Listen up! As an empath and healer, our guest Jacqueline Greely or affectionately called “Coach Jacqs,” creates healing transformative spaces that gives women permission to live life unapologetically. As the founder of Mirrored Vision Coaching, LLC, Jacquie is purposed to help usher women into divine love and acceptance of themselves through safe talk spaces, retreats, teaching, coaching, and womb healing. She believes that women, through traumas, fears, abuse, can choose to live a life on their own terms and of her making. Jacqueline's Bio “Sensuality is about living in the expression of who you are.” This is a statement that Jacqueline Greely lives by and helps other women to empower themselves to do the same. From a young age, Jacquie was always curious about human behavior and sexuality. Alongside her young teen books were reference guides on psychology, medical articles, and a few steamy romance novels from her grandmother's bookshelf! In college, she became a peer health educator as part of a work-study program assisting in clinics and workshops. Soon, she was leading a weekly contraception workshop for health clinic patients. Though post-college took her on a different path, women's empowerment never strayed far from her heart. In 2013, after suffering a devasting loss, Jacquie became a certified yoga instructor and shortly after became a full-circle doula. Focusing on the care of women in postpartum, she was once again able to support and educate women on accepting themselves wholly, especially sexually. Once again, at the start of the 2020 pandemic, Jacquie was offered an opportunity to fulfill her childhood dream of becoming a sexologist. In 2021, Jacqueline became a certified clinical sexuality coach and master sexpert. Jacqueline holds a master's in public administration and over 10 years with the federal government. She also holds several trainings and certifications in birth work, yoga and Reiki practitioner, womb health, and administration. Hey Sis! Today I'm talking about permission to rest and the soft life. I decided to give myself permission to rest and take a nice vacation in Cancun at an all-inclusive resort. Have you seen more posts, reels, and memes about living the “soft life”? If not, the soft life is the movement from being a strong woman to a woman that's interdependent. A woman that is open and willing to be vulnerable. A woman that leans into her feminine essence. A woman that's not afraid to just be. Hey Sis!! In order for us to have the best relationships possible, sometimes we need to go all the way to childhood. We need to evaluate our triggers and be honest about why we do the things that we do. Today's podcast guest is Bernadette Jackson. Bernadette Jackson is a woman of faith, a mom, a fatherless daughter and a transparent truth teller. As a Relationship Engagement Strategist and your favorite Fear Investigator, she creates safe spaces for fatherless daughters to learn, grow and heal. Her safe spaces include the Healing Elevates Relationships Podcast where she is redefining how the world views women with daddy issues; H.E.R Coalition, her private FB community and H.E.R Way Relationship Intensive, her private coaching program. In that program, Bernadette teaches clients everything she wished she knew about attracting and maintaining amazing relationships as a fatherless daughter. This program is near and dear to Bernadette's heart as she openly shares how her own fear of abandonment cycle kept her in undesirable relationships for more than a decade. To learn more about Bernadette's story and how she can help, visit her website at bernadettejackson.com or follow her on IG @bernadettenjackson One thing that stuck out – What Fatherlessness actually is: A Fatherlessness is a spectrum. One end is a father who has never been there and the other end is a father who has been there and has been intentional. In between are fathers who were inconsistent, fathers who present sometimes/ part-time, or fathers who were not emotionally present. Characteristics Fatherless Daughters Tend to Display: Constantly seeking validation Desire to control everything around you Issues with intimacy Problems being vulnerable Fear of abandonment or rejection Fierce loyalty to family/ friends Overextend yourself in your relationships with others Caretaker to your friends Mothering your significant other Compatibility vs Capacity – 43:59 Final Comments from Bernadette: Your father loss happened to you but was not because of you. You deserve amazing relationships. Nothing you've experienced and no person who could not see that disqualifies you from what you truly deserve. So stand in that truth and know that regardless of what you've been through that there is more for you and it comes on the other side of you getting to know who you are deeply. Hey Sis!! Today, I'm READING the letter that I wrote to myself this time last year. The front of the card says, "Sometimes when it seems like things are falling apart, they're really just falling into place". I reflected on 2020 and wrote about what I expected to see this year. December 2020, I was lonely, confused, separated from my then husband, frustrated about my finances, and trying to figure out what to do next. Today, I can say that I'm completely healed. I'm no longer sad or ashamed regarding my divorce. I'm happy. I'm joyful. My financial position is much better than last year. I finished my book. I've started a podcast and now I'm focused on what I want my future family to look like. Don't be afraid to dream about the life that you want. Don't let fear stop you from going after your dreams! Dear Sis, As we get older, our relationships with our parents change. We may start to experience a push and pull with our boundaries. In the beginning, it may be that parents are seemingly hanging on too tight and as we continue to age, we find ourselves becoming the parent and roles being reversed. I wish these are conversations that we would have much earlier so that they are easier to discuss or don't strictly happen in the case of an emergency. Today I'm talking with Diana Copeland about transitional parental relationships. How to navigate boundaries and we get older and how to broach important topics with our parents as roles begin to change. Diana's Bio Diana is characterized as "one that people gravitate towards" for advice and her ability to hear them. Her ability to individualize and personalized their experience creates a comfortable and open environment for expression and communication. Diana's clients confirm she makes them "feel like they are the only clients she is working with." Diana lives in Texas, with her loving husband of 23 years. Their happiness continues as they continue to support and enjoy their 2 college age children. If you are looking to reach new levels, achieve those goals, motivation, encouragement, mentor, navigate that tough transition, find your voice and stop being a people pleaser.
