"Tonight, we’ll read the conclusion to “A Scandal in Bohemia” from “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes,” written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, published in 1892. In the first episode, Holmes receives a visit from a masked man, whom he deduces is actually the king of Bohemia. Once the man is unmasked, he asks for Holmes’s help retrieving a valuable set of photographs. The King is engaged to a Scandinavian princess, but is worried that the princess’s family would disapprove of his previous relationship with an American opera singer named Irene Adler. Ms. Adler has evidence of this relationship, namely photographs of the two of them together, and has refused to return them to the King. Türkiye ekonomisinde bu hafta hesaplama yöntemi değişikliği sonrası TÜİK, ilk revize işsizlik verilerini açıkladı. İlk defa yayımlanmaya başlayan “atıl işgücü” oranı yüzde 29,1 olarak açıklandı. Ahval ekonomi yazarları Güldem Atabay ve Prof Eser Karakaş, Ekonomi Gündemi programında son gelişmeleri ele aldı. Güldem Atabay, “İşsizlik verisi 2019 başında 13,5 iken, yeni düzenleme ile 2021 ocak başında bir anda 12,2’ye iniyor. Biraz daha geniş kapsamlı baktığımızda 2019 başında 14,6 ile başlayan işsizlik oranı, 2020 başında 15,4’e yükseliyor. 2021 ocak başında ise 19,7’ye yükseliyor” diyor ve ekliyor: “TÜİK, ‘atıl işgücü’ diye bir şey yaratmış yeni düzenlemede. Bu zannediyorum geniş işsizlik olarak hesapladığımız bir oran. Yüzde 29,1 olarak açıklanan işsizlik oranı, her üç kişiden birinin toplumda işsiz olduğunu ortaya koyuyor.”  Eser Karakaş ise, tarımda 5,1 milyon kişinin çalıştığı verisine dikkat çekiyor.  Türk tarımının 70 milyar Euro’luk çıktısı olduğundan bahseden Karakaş, şunları kaydediyor: “Fransa da tam 70 milyar dolar çıktı üretiyor ama bunu 450 bin kişi ile üretiyor. Şu anda ben Türkiye tarımından 3 milyon insanı çektiğin zaman Türkiye’de tarımsal üretimin düşmeyeceği kanaatindeyim. Bunlar işsizlik hesaplamalarına nasıl katılır bilemiyorum ama bunlar TÜİK verilerinde açıklanmıyor.Dolayısıyla işsizlik görünenden çok daha fazla. İşini kaybeden biri, köyüne gidip dönüyor ama ailesine yardım ettiği için resmi olarak çalışmasa da beyan üzerinden istihdam gösteriliyor. İş dönüp dolaşıp Türkiye’de kötü yönetime geliyor.” Öte yandan ekonomistler, bir süredir siyaset gündeminin de öne çıkan başlıkları arasında yer alan eski Maliye ve Hazine Bakanı Berat Albayrak döneminde 128 milyar dolarlık döviz rezervinin eritilmesini de değerlendiriyor. Güldem Atabay, Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan’ın, Merkez Bankası rezervlerinin toparlandığını ileri sürüp CHP’nin Berat Albayrak’ı suçlayan 128 milyar dolarlık rezerv eritilmesi karşısında “Damat kadar taş düşsün başınıza” sözlerine atıf yaparak, “Erdoğan, ‘bu para Merkez’in hesabında’ diyor ama bu doğru değil. Merkez’in elindeki rezervler - 43 milyar dolar geçen hafta itibarıyla. Yok bu para, kuru sabitlemek için satıldı ama kime satıldığı belli değil. Bunun toplamı 1,5 senede 128 milyar doları buldu. Çok kötü yönetiliyoruz” ifadesini kullanıyor. Eser Karakaş ise, “Erdoğan yalan söylemiyor olabilir çünkü bilmiyor” görüşünü dile getiriyor ve şöyle devam ediyor: “Etrafında bir tane ciddiye alınabilecek iktisat danışmanı yok. Ağzından çıkan her şeyi onaylayan bir danışman güruhu var. Varlık Fonu’nun başına dahi ekonomi eğitimi olmayan birini getirdiler. Arda Ermut diye bir çocuk. Tek özelliği Bilal Erdoğan’ın Kartal İmam Hatip’ten sınıf arkadaşı olması. Kötü yönetim tam da bu demek. Bu kadar kötü yönetilen bir ülkede nükleer santral açılışı yapılıyor. Bunun işletebilmesi mümkün mü diye soruyorum. Yarın bir gün Allah muhafaza 'Nükleer santrallerin radyasyon patlatması fıtratında var' diyebilecek mi bu yönetim. Bu, becerebileceğimiz bir şey değil.” Siyasetin geldiği nokta üzerinden ekonomi piyasalarına etkileri için de ayrı bir parantez açan ekonomistler, Bahçeli’nin İYİ Parti lideri Meral Akşener'e yönelik ağır ifadeler kullanıp hedef göstermesi ve Gazeteci Levent Gültekin'in 25 kişilik bir grubun saldırısına uğramasının olumlu beklentiler yaratmaya engel olduğunun altını çiziyorlar. Bu kabul edilebilir değil. Sağda solda çalışan kişileri örgütlüyormuş malum kişiler ve parti. Bir olay olacağı zaman ‘Gidin, şunu halledin’ diye haber veriyorlarmış. Çok yakın bir kaynaktan aldım bu bilgiyi. Bir genç kadın müdahale etmiş. Necip ve ulu Türk milleti deniyor ya, yere yatmış birisine tekme atıyor birileri ve etraftan müdahale yok. Bir tek o kadın şahit olurum demiş, başka kimse de bunu yapamamış.” Güldem Atabay da Bahçeli’nin Akşener’i hedef göstermesini yorumlarken, “Kadın olmayı geçin, politik olarak bile saygısı yok” ifadesini kullanıyor ve şunları kaydediyor: “En bel altı en aşağılık ve çirkin bir şekilde muhatap alıp ondan sonra da kadın haklı olarak cevap verdiğinde de onu ‘edepsizlikle’ suçlayacak kadar da artık çığrından çıkmış vaziyette. Gerçekten diyecek bir şey bulamıyorum.” Amerika’nın 10 yıl vadeli Hazine kâğıtlarında faiz oranları 1,52’ye kadar düşmesini yorumlayan ekonomistlerden Atabay, bir sonraki Fed toplantısında piyasanın getiri eğrisine müdahale beklediğini belirterek, şu değerlendirmeleri yapıyor: “Her ne kadar Powell’dan gelen hem de diğer Fed üyelerinden gelen açıklamalar, bu yönde bir müdahale olacağını düşündürtmese de, bu tartışmalar devam ediyor. Dolayısıyla o bir oynaklık. Şu anda bir atakla panik olarak yükseliyor, arkasından sakinliyor. Ama hani burada konuşulan şeyler, gerçekten mayıs ayında elle tutulur bir şekilde ABD’de enflasyonun yükseleceği. He was a child prodigy who learned playing chess simply by watching family members play. When he was only 9 years old, he was hailed as the best chess player in his city.This book describes Morphy's trip to Europe in 1858.
